A Australian Air Express Boeing 737 Freighter departs Brisbane International Airport (Eagle Farm) bound for Port Moresby as QF7415.
The Australian Air Express branding was sadly discontinued after Qantas Freight purchased Australia Post's 50% interest in the company. One 737 has been repainted and all will eventually be repainted into Qantas Freight livery.
Though the new livery looks great on the 737 classic, I was a big fan of the AaE brand. A big part of my spotting visit at Brisbane Airport was to see this new daylight service as these 737s operate almost exclusively at night.
This bird is ex Qantas 737-376 VH-TAY which was named 'Valiant'.
This is also the last video of the Brisbane series videos.
    Filmed July 2013.

Great Film! So Australian Air Express operates as a seperate company having being split from Qantas Freight.

Australian Air Express still operates as a company ( depending on who you ask ). Australia Post sold it's 50% share back to Qantas in January 2013. These 737 Freighters are slowly being repainted in the QF colours.
