- Hannah is a 2 year old Welsh Corgi. She lives on a 40 acre rescue farm. Sometimes, there is a need for extra care and love for abandoned or rejected babies. Hannah has been the Corgi on the job since a young pup.

@Yamnihc Ebmilaw some dogs do, some dogs dont, theres dogs that will kill a chick and then proceed to eat it, some dogs will even try to kill other dog's babies sometimes, some dogs just dont feel remorse for killing and yet can still be sweet doggies which seems so unbelievable i guess its kinda in their dna to kill smaller creatures or just anything that will run. so i think this dog growling at the other dogs was fair i guess in a pack they kinda have to defend whats theirs even their babies and that instinct kinda pasted on even in selective breeding. it could also be that your dog was upset cuz you were upset and your dog loves you

Rabbits who're literally genetically wired to be afraid and run when a predator is doing something with correlation to aggression (i.e growling, picking them up)is allowing this momma corgi to do just that. It's not a one-sided relationship where only the momma is thinking she's taking care if a child, the child itself acknowledges it and accepts. That makes my heart soft, she must really be the blueprint of a parental figure

Despite their size they are very fast and their tendency to growl if you get out of place (atleast most corgi's I've known, especially mine) make them great at herding. My own corgi polices my sister's cats, whenever she sees the cats do something we humans don't approve of, she barks at them and tries to intimidate them away from what they are doing.

I once saw a border collie keeping a very close eye on, and herding when necessary, two small fluffy white dogs. The respective owners were chatting in a park. It was hilarious. I also love watching herding competitions. I’ve also seen border collies herd their humans...she kept guard at the bathroom door if a member of her “herd” split off for the loo.
Our corgi tried herding my twin sister and I when we were little and running around the house. He literally would nip our heels and ankles to get us in line 😭

Its a big job for a busy mama! Keeps their ears and mouths from getting infected which is common in neglected babies. They can develop all sorts of nasty if someone doesn't step up to the task
And baby animals feel comforted around soft warm fur to remind them of mom they especially like the sound of a heartbeat when they lay on a foster parent

Could you imagine a Disney film (either animated or live-action) about Hannah the Corgi Foster-mom..? Most of the movie would be about Hannah caring for her rescues and adoptees. Then, when Hannah is in trouble, all her 'children' come, all their varieties, to her aid/rescue in Hannah's time of need.

The bunny sees the big ears on Hannah and Hannah's desire to care for them and just says "seems like mom to me!"
Babies have no concept of what mom and dad should look like. Imprinting on the babies after they are born makes that dog their momma to them it doesnt matter what she looks like. :D
@@laserlights9684 doesn't even have to be mom. She grooms the bun, & that's a sign of love in the rabbit's mind, so the bun sees Hannah as a member of the herd/flock/family
It's amazing how all these babies aren't afraid of her and accept her as a momma. Incredible!

When Hannah's tending to her baby calf, you can see she's so proud of how big they're getting. You have a very very special dog on your hands, she's amazing. I hope you're returning just as much love as Hannah gives!
Hannah makes my heart melt with happiness. If i have kids hannah can definitely baby sit them! I just hope she'd give the babies back 😂

Corgis have the biggest hearts, so amazing to see such compassion from something so small. They're more than pets. They're family. Growing up with them and taking care of them has been one of the greatest gifts I've ever had in my life.

I had an American Bulldog who loved and protected all our baby animals. Even when they got bigger, he protected them. Even when the goat rammed him, he protected her.
I think a bulldog would be able to resist being rammed, i mean, its a bull and a dog.
