Nightblue, You should try this build again, but replace Mejai's with Stormsurge.
Stormsurge gives 95 AP, which is 50 AP Less than a fully stacked Mejai's and is a bit more expensive, BUT, and this is a big but, you will almost always trigger the extra lightning explosion on any squish enemy will trigger the "Squall" easily, since you deal over 50% of their health as damage and "Squall" only needs 35%, so it will give a second strike for 105+15% of your AP 2 seconds later on an area.
Since First Strike lasts for 3 seconds, the second lightning will still fall inside First Strike's timer for an extra 7% damage and give you gold for it.

It's not even real ability haste. Just their half ass attempt to nerf CDR. Real ability haste actually makes the clock tick faster instead of just lowering the cd. If it worked like it should then your CD would be lowered even if you buy haste while stuff is on cd. As it is now you only get the benefit if you have it already before using an ability. They just wanted to sound smart and "fix" something instead of making it work right.
@@feinne7652 There have been some abilities that get reduced by flat amount of time, that would be nerfed if it simply quickened the timer - ad if you really had a timer run faster it would be mega confusing.
The difference between CDR and AH is that CDR was sharp cutoff with cap, similiar to dodge, and got reworked into working like damage/armor works.
If you increase your damage from 100 to 200 you kill twice as fast. If you get from 0 to 100 armour it takes 100% more damage to kill you, making you have twice as much effective HP, and now with 100 ability haste you can cast 1 additional spell during the regular unreduced cooldown length of time.
Now you can have 100, 200, 300 or 400 ability haste and game would still work. if you had 50%CDR and another 50%CDR the game would either give you infinite cooldowns and get broken in half, or have some very cheesy CDR cap, where hitting 60%CDR would be optimal and having 65%CDR would be waste as 60%CDR is a hardcap.

But to be fair his team was also just bad as well. Idk how with Veigar you keep dying alone instead of just caging and getting away

yo when did RITO change Horizon Focus, it used to say "non-targeted ability", meaning it wouldnt work on stuff like Karthus R
Non-targeted ability means it won't work on stuff like Malz ult or Garen ult or Lulu polymorph..

CDR still exist, ability haste is what you buy from items, but haste provides CDR just not as before. I mean, haste doesn't scale 1:1 with CDR, when you put your mouse on top ot haste it actually tells you how much CDR you have.
They created haste so you can't actually increase CDR as much as before anymore, stacking haste gets less value because it increases less depending on how much you have.
For example, 50 haste is almost 35% CDR i think but 100 haste is approximately 50% CDR.

100 haste isn't "approximately" 50% CDR, it is precisely 50% CDR. 50 haste isn't "almost 35% CDR" but 33.3(3)%, which means you get to cast an additional spell every 2 base cooldowns (you get "50% more spells", meaning you get to wait 66.6% for the first cooldown, 133.(3)% for the second coouldown and 200% for the third cooldown - making you have 0.5 extra spell per cycle.

ability haste (AH) is flat stat which convert to cdr which is % stat. Convertion is same as armor and mr works with equasion CDR = (1 - 1/(1+AH/100))
100 armor = you need to deal 100 additional damage to deal 100 damage
100 ability haste = you get to cast 1 additional spell for your 1 base cooldown duration
Both of the maths calulculate to 50%, but this way of thinking makes math easier.
10 armor = you need to deal 110 damage to actually deal 100 damage. Thats 90.90(90)% reduction.
20 armor = you need to deal 120 damage to actually deal 120 damage. Thats 83.(3)% reduction.
Taking % out of it entirely is probably better way of looking at it, and is a relic of Warcraft 3 system where 1 Armor gave you 5% armor reduction, 2 Armor gave you 5% armor reduction twice etc., making 5 armor an unwieldly "22.621% reduction". The way math was set up for the attack upgrades to also increase your damage by (about) 5%, so damage upgrades and armor upgrades cancel each other out.

@@doznanie so 100 armor gives you 100/100+100 = 50% damagereduction. In other words, you have to deal 200 damage to deal 100 damage.
200 armor gives you 200/200+100 = 2/3 = 66% damage reduction. In other words, you have to deal 300 damage to deal 100 damage.

Tristana Support in my opinion. (I dont know the runes of the game in english, so I'll let you use your imagination for that) You get lvl 3 and inmediately destroy the enemy ADC. Also is really fun to gank the midlane if your ally needs help and the jungler is occupied.

Sure you were max build but you did nothing with it, just spamming your ult as soon as its off cd instead of waiting for kills even when you were max

haste makes it sound like the travel time on the abilities are faster "haste" which is a indication of speed
while cdr being cool down reduction speaks for itself and its got a good abbreviation and easier to type "cdr" vs "haste" buttons not only easier and more flowy its less
They changed math so they changed the branding, but community stayed with old name. ability haste could be abberviated to "ah" but that could collide with other existing slang abberiviations and old habits die hard.

This is literally the power jungle should have. It's like we're missing an entire camp in xp+gold. Nobody is invading you, nobody is reacting to your invades. This is literally bronze tier macro plays and then these laners complain jungle is OP. What's OP is their lack of braincells.
As an aside, I don't think first strike is impacting your bounty which is absolutely insane.
Aside from the actual skill to hit your Qs, this is a very big brain move honestly. money printing is actually good.

Sundered sky, tear+boots, unending despair, spirit visage, fimbulwinter and then a flexible item like titanic or another health item that will increase your damage

I'm not sure that this is the optimal order, but these items seem to have busted synergy when all together.

i think because he got negative gold and when leaving base he gets another -50. so when waiting for the gold from first strike he would be at positive gold value and didn´t have to "pay" the -50. Just a guess tho
