The ARU literally said said they would take him earlier and said they had the money there? Wtf guys. Danny Wieldler who works at your network conducted the interview himself with the CEO.
RA would take him at the right price, which won't be the 2025 salary. I am sure RA will try to get the Roosters to pick up some of the tab. It will then come down to how much the Roosters are willing to pay him to not play NRL, before they decide it is better off keep him. Unless the Roosters got dispensation from the NRL as he off to another code. Which would only annoy every other team.
Grow up. If any of these people were offered a payrise of 220% to go to another network or newspaper theyd be gone without emptying their desk, let alone see the season out. Hes risking injury and a contract issue by continuing to play NRL. Itd be doing him a favor to release him.
Player salaries should still be made public, it's a start to the NRL gaining integrity. I've lost trust in the competition with all the major stakeholders pulling power, officials, and previous cases over the years and the fans not getting enough clarity. Start off by making salaries public.
Why? if I was a player, what business is it of yours how much I earn? In our everyday jobs that's still the case! How much I get paid is between me and my employer! What if I get paid more then someone else that does the exact same job? or I do less work then them? oh wait that does happen right now! Which is why that causes so much issue! No great business has ever said ''hey you know what would give us more integrity? lets make it known to everyone how much everybody earns'' RIDICULOUS
Even though he might have a good head on his shoulders having only just turned 20. When he signed that Rugby union contract unfortunately he's Rugby league career went down the drain. From last year's rookie of the year , unfortunately to this year's Disappointment of the year. A lot of pressure to handle. Not to mention the money. However in saying that there is no way I would let him go until his league contract expires. Remember he's only one of many Roosters that have gone missing in action this year.
Ahhh, the draft, again. It will never happen, in RL. Because under Australian law it is considered a 'restriction of trade', and therefore illegal. And these people should know this. Look up 'Terry Hill V ARL'.
@tesseract4056 latrell unfortunately is one lazy hombre, turns up now and again for the big play and if that doesn't come off thats it. He ain't no Inglis thats for sure.

"There'd only be 5 clubs competing for the comp" well news flash there isn't even 5 clubs competing this season with a "salary cap" Then proceeds to call for a draft when all a draft is going to do is make players play for teams they don't want to play for and give less incentives to actually develop Abolish the salary cap if clubs fold good they obviously weren't run properly anyway and were holding the NRL back
Apparently a lot more than the people supporting the Sydney clubs outside of Souths? Crowd figures and Club membership should be enough to answer the question.. I guess some just struggle with straight forward maths?
All these hater's 😂😂😂. Good on him for making that amount of cash. Goodluck to joe , keep doing you don't worry about the outside noise 👊🏽😎👌🏽

Are you implying some logical thinking from journos mate...

Crying all the way to the bank!
Let him go
Are they allowed to raise their knees in rugby?
Psaltis has interesting points
The Roosters already have Josephs replacement

The journos put Allsorts accolades on the kid and he has to develop Robbo can not coach buys talent Cronk,SBW etc
Latrell got better when he left the Roosters too. The ball playing skills didn't appear until he had a Rabbitohs jersey on.

Since he signed they’ve seemed to just moan and groan instead of getting the best out of him. Don’t worry he’ll be back he’ll wanna play Origin
These Jornos just get slimier and sleezier looking. Best stick to the papers

He showed little to get that money in the first place

What a load of rubbish, English premier league has the best comp in the world with no salary cap.
What a shame ,it must be awful for Joseph ....😱😡
Let him go, overrated
Not worth 750K
He's young and still learning but he has hopped from Souths to the Rooster's to union in just a few years.
Sualli is way overrated.
And Penrith is no exception lol
Fooling yourself if you think they aren't cheating the system.
Well its not the cap with all the players that have left and that are leaving you more sound like a salty tosser
Massive shout out to the panel for the correct pronunciation of his name 🫱🏾🫲🏿
3 men that live on there sponsors.....😂😂😂😂😂
Love danika in dirty ways
🤣
Yeah, I'd let her touch it
Who give a stuff about Brisbane bronco’s
