Awesome wish Andy's hobby would stay open a little later for us who get off work around 5 pm and stay open late on Saturdays I stopped by there yesterday around 4:30 and it was closed makes it hard trying to get supplies and one other hobby shop closed down now only one place to go here in Phoenix AZ can't depend on hobby lobby sometimes they don't have the stuff I'm looking for
Cool! Going down the rabbit hole of military/armor stuff I see! I constantly shop for value kits. I am around 2000 at this stage. Take up a LOT of space. I wish model company's would get together and standardize the box sizes.
I build a little bit of everything, automotive, armor, ships, planes, sci-fi, etc. I have found that those small kits, like the trailers or small tanks, as well as small scale models are usually good slump busters. Andy's is one of the best places to order from. Their customer service is absolutely awesome.
I build mostly 1/48 air craft and 1/35 scale armor. But have been working on automotive as well. So great to see the armor kits. Have a great New year! And happy building.
I built tons of military when I was younger. Learned a lot of paint skills and approaches that I use on my car builds now. Nothing like an old worn out ratty hot rod truck! Love your videos!
@THROTTLEPOWER Wild stuff, guy also had an operating T-34 (well, not operating that day!) for reenacting. I was standing up holding on the sides and he ran it across a bank where I swear we were gonna roll over, but it chugged along fine. Did you see where Andy has listed the next one, the smaller 250? It is a preorder sale price.
Nice haul Tim. That six wheel vehicle would make a good off road wild fire vehicle too. I liked those sanding sticks etc. keep up the great work man. Bruce in Wv!!!
Heard that Tamiya did their motorized armor in 1/35 to better fit the mechanisms at the time. Wish they had always been 1/25. I do have the 1/25 German JagdPanther to place on a lowboy as a museum delivery.
Nice monster purchase Tim from Andy's. Look forward to your military builds. Like how you stagger the scales in your build. I try to keep military 1/35 but you got that big 1/16 Hanomag.😮
Even though I did Military planes as a kid, it just never grew on me. My son has picked up a couple Tanks recently and man are they ever intimidating! But I am just starting to get the courage to do airbrushing. I also do HO scale trains and that's where I'll be doing the most with weathering. But those Military / Sci-Fi vehicles will be fun to watch. That anti-aircraft gun would be cool to kit-bash onto that SUV kit!! Cheers Tim 🍻 Earl 🦖
Well, you went and did it...ive had this bug to try military. Mostly tanks. But this is another rabbit hole i see. Man, those trucks look cool, Tim. I'll keep my eye open for these upcoming builds.
I agree Mike, the Green Stuff World Chrome is definitely more durable then Molotow. Really looking forward to getting into those kits. Hope you have a safe and happy New Years!! 🎊🍾🎉
You have some really cool items you got there I myself I like to build everything some cars to armor to planes to ships to Syfy basically so I don't get into a rut 👍👍
I'm starting to build more and more of them. Mostly I build 1/24 or 1/25 scale but there are so many GREAT subjects in 1/35 (tanks and trucks) I've been picking up more 1/35 the last couple years. Keep on Modeling!!!
Hi Tim, that was a absolutely outstanding haul, does the 'boss' know what you have bought, I am no expert but I believe the JLTV ttuck is the successor to the humvee, I would like to wish you and your family acsafe and Happy New Year, best regards from Australia, Les
Happy new year I enjoy my 1/16 Tanks that are a lot of fun
Thank you, I'm looking forward to it. Hope you have a Happy New Year too!

I fully understand that Paul. Most work until 5ish so that would be hard to get there after work.
Andy’s was a great place to visit. Nice stash adds
Cool, I'm wanting to get out there sometime for a visit.
Nice kits Tim... enjoy building them.. happy new year to you and yours... Thanks for sharing 🎉🙏👍

It is definitely a rabbit hole and I can see how your stash got so large. 😉👍
Very very cool kits you have there. I also bought some 16 scale armor tanks from Andys. Very cool stuff.

I agree, small kits are great for those in-between project days.
Cool stash adds. Happy New Year!!
Thanks, Happy New Year Link!
I understand the interest in trailers, I've built several in the last year or so, two scratchbuilt and one kit bashed, nothing from a kit...yet.
Cool, they can be really fun to build.

More nice choices and got the bonus holiday xtras. I once got a ride in one of those German half tracks on the owner's property.
Oh wow, you got to ride in a German half track. Now that would be a fun experience!!!

Awesome trailers .
My guess is Mad Max for the last few trailers.

I think if I was going to do a Sci-Fi build, I might graft that M-55 Quad 50 onto the URAL truck somehow. Pretty cool stuff! Peace and love.
That would be awesome!
