Get a bunch a friends, drive to Disneyland, and share one campsite. I did a trip like that and paid maybe 17 a night and had a free shuttle everyday to Disneyland.
It is a shame that, at least for now, things will be different at all theme parks. Living Southern California, we become so spoiled as to the easy of going to places like this. I truly miss these times with family and friends. My wife and I get to take our time and meander through the parks. The kids are all old enough to go their way. We get to take in things we have missed these past 15 or so years. No rushing, just a slow sight seeing stroll. Thanks for the videos and the memories.
For those of you unfamiliar with the opening scene... Walking northward on Main Street USA .... The People sitting on the curb on each side have claimed a great viewing spot for the next parade that finishes Southbound on Main street ! A note : The Cast members that constantly police for trash and debris may be some of the highest paid as THEY can answer most of your questions regarding show times , food choices , drinking fountains , services etc. . . . These Cast members are truly unsung Ambassadors for The Happiest Place on Earth !
That was swell. I played it in 4K on my side-screen when at work and watched the whole thing. I had an annual pass for 13 years and when the the cost climbed over $1000 I finally threw my hands in the air to Mickey Mouse saying "I give up!" Nice to see the park again.

My father was watching this video with me, he was curious of the day you shot it was a special festive date, as he found the frequence of people excessiva and the circulation on the park confuse to see and enjoy well the loveliies and fun attractions, listen to the music, see the details of the park's architectural decoration that are adorable and that visitors always want to photograph as an affective souvenir ! Congratulation again for your nice vídeo! You have a lot of patience and focus and the Disneyland is cute !!!!!HELÔ 🙂

Just looked up the prices....$104 per person..and that's on the slow days. It can be as high as $149 on holidays. I remember getting into Disneyland for $12. Shows you how old I am. (I'm 55 BTW).
I went to Disneyland with My mother and Grandparents in 2012. I went some on rides such as its a small world and jungle cruise. I could not do roller coasters back then because of my back brace that I was wearing at the time for a back condition that I have.

My only complaint is that you didn't go through Adventureland, if you ever do another video walking through Disneyland, please go through Adventureland, it would feel more complete, Other than that, Amazing job! and thank you for having a steady arm/ camera.
I used to live in Anaheim, went there tons of times. Brings back good memories. Tons of strollers!, those kids are too young to remember it, bet they are hot too. Lots of "traffic" to dodge. More "whales" it seems. Great weather. Thanks.
As far as I remember, when walking through Disneyland Park you could see some of the little girls wearing Princess Dresses including the Rapunzel Dress, Cinderella Dress and Princess Aurora Dress.
Watching this with the crowds just adds anxiety. It just feels like a cluster of people hiding the magic. I'd like to see a Disneyland walk through on a day that's not so crowded. They should have a maximum limit, although I think they do, but that limit is too high if this many people are there. I know Disneyland raised their prices to try and help with this over crowdedness of the park these past number of years, but clearly that doesn't detour enough people.
& then there's Disneyland, (ToonTown & Main St. USA) are probably my favorite areas - for shopping & meeting the Mouse himself.. Thank you for another way awesome video, totally forgotten how big this place really was - hopefully the wife & myself can return with the new member to the family Joselyn just 6 weeks old.. Oh just to let you know friend, we finally found a house, i personally wanted it to be in like the Venice//Santa Monica area.. But me being the family Guy i am now, selfishness is right out the window here, so instead - my wife Joy spotted something she really liked that i thought was most impressive, an $857,000 right on the beach house in Malibu's gated community - to us it's worth every cent..
The problem with this "walking tour" is that you're mostly focused unnaturally dead ahead, rarely looking up or to the side as anyone would naturally do walking through the park, beginning at the very start when you didn't even pause to glance at the plaque overhead as you entered. Much of Main St passed by in a blur, as did many of the rides and activity.
Personal opinion..... The ORIGINAL Magic Kingdom in Anaheim California has more options for simply sitting outside for quick meals , getting out of the sun or people watching than Disneyworld ! Walts Disneyland has MORE RIDES in than all of Disneyworlds thousands of acres ! You COULD experience all of Disneyland in one day .... I challenge anyone to try THIS at Disneyworld ! (I couldn't do it in a week !)
I will support you with 100$ if you show more dca cast members in the videos. I used to work at dca at mermaid and would love to see some familiar faces in the park. great video loved it.

I've been going since '55 and was a Cast Member in the '70s. ... Sure glad Eisner is gone ! The park was never dirtier during his reign !

Man, last time I went, San Diego had the Superbowl going. You would think it would be wall to wall people. But it was practically dead. Was nice.
