Many of us know you could use any reel.... LPs, and Hookers... And with the amount of fishing you do, it would be well worth the investment... Would you mind giving us your take on the shimano BT 9000... Is shimano paying you... Or is it that good? Definitely a worthy fish on this video... But how many has the reel caught? How many oops? How many breakdowns.... I've got a few electrics... And honestly... I'd just would like to hear your honest take on the reel...it looks good... If you back it up... I might even try one...help us out!
@@georgewilliams7078 It is most definitely not commercial fishing as they are fishing 1 hook. The commercial guys mostly use long line with hundreds of hooks. I don't know why you think this is commercial fishing. Maybe cause the electric reel? Well if you have a better way to reel up 1500'+ of line attached to a 8lbs weight without an electric motor I would love to hear it.
Any time you use electric reel and a harpoon it's not sport fishing . What's your problem can't you reel up 1500 feet of line without your electric reel this .this where we separate the men from the boys .or don't fish on the bottom I have rod and reeled 19 swordfish that were baited on surface and while fighting some of them they ran out 300 yards a few time .I am sure during the fight I reeled in more then 1500 feet to catch them. What else you want to know
@@yessuhyessuh2100 I couldn't stand up and fight my fish for an hour let alone 6 hours always used chair but these guys aren't really fighting anyway using the boat to hold the rod. good luck to you
@@georgewilliams7078 seriously, it's using mechanical technology to land a fish for sport, where's the glory in that, what happened to the conquest between man and beast like the old days when men were men strapped into a seat fighting to the death.

.......... .... .....
how the reel perform after several swordfish....??? any break down?
Of all the countless hours of research I`ve done, I just don`t think there`s a fish that swims lb for lb that can match the endurance of a Broadbill.
Hey Nick. How is the reel doing after how many fish? Gracias amigo.
Roughly how deep were y’all? I’m about to get my first sword set up and the beast master is on the list. How is the reel still holding up?
1600’ , reels burnt up. Switched to bigger reels like Hooker electric
LP’s the way to go if you want to truly target swordfish consistently
Bravo
Hello , what is a power of your braid (line) thank you
would be 80-100lb, some run 120-130 though
Nice team.
Ikan yang sangat besar sekali.
what a monster. Congrats on catching that monster.
What swordfish selling for these days
Thats what daiwa meant to
Woooooo
Now they will go in and sell the sword WITHOUT the proper permits...Commercial fishing under the guise of sport fishing...
Actually we have a swordfish handgear permit, it’s public information if you look it up. Nice try 🤣🤣🤣😎😎😎.
Just another way of commercial fishing
This is commercial fishing .who told you it was sport

6 hours of watching a rod do everything no skill what so ever lol, may aswell have bait hang off the anchor winch...LAME
Chris Preston this was one of the most uneducated comments I’ve ever seen. You haven’t any clue what goes into catching or even hooking a swordfish.
go fight a 462lb broadbill on standup it'll kick your ass for hours
@@yessuhyessuh2100 why stand up.sit in fighting chair .I have 6 hour on 409 pounder and got it with out using a harpoon

pfft fish against a winch, how noble
go hand crank almost 2000 ft with the strongest fish in the ocean
@@yessuhyessuh2100 I have to do that every time the missus goes swimming.

No glory using harpoon

Sorry but this isn’t fishing.
why do you say that
Yes it is .just not sport fishing
