Hi, awesome review. I have recently advanced from co-axial to single blade helicopter. Have bought a Blade 200 CRX. Beautiful little electric chopper. Now having watched your review, I am certainly going to buy this Sim. Many thanks for your time and effort in uploading this video. Your are a Star !!!
David Kemp Thanks for you nice comment. no problem, i will be doing an updated version of this video soon hopefully answering the most common questions. glad you found it helpful and happy flying.
Hi there thanks for a great review, your favourite seaside one is my local town, you flying from Poole in Dorset, the actual corner of that field is on the road to Sandbanks, nice expensive place, but anyway thanks for your time and effort, I liked it very much, as others have said yours is the best review
nice, it is a very lovely area and i i bet a nice place to live. its great when you can recognize places you live in games these days. though it is a panoramic photo. thanks for watching and the comment. glad you enjoyed it.
Have sorted my problem out. It was a faulty trainer port on the controller. The support at Phoenix pin pointed the problem almost straight away purely by email. The shop replaced it straight away. Am now enjoying the simulator and concur with the views previously expressed. It is great. The only problem is the choice of aircraft and flying sites means that I am spending more time 'exploring' than I am practicing!!
Hey. Thanks for that awesome Review! It helped me a lot to find out what's a good Simulator for me. I already searched for other Reviews but they all were crap. Thanks m8.
Great video, thanks. I watched this yesterday and went straight out and ordered the simulator. The shop I went to had Realflight set up and running but this looks so much better. I hope I'm not disappointed!! lol.
you will not be disappointed, i looked a few RC sims before i got this and this seem to be getting the most praise from the RC guys. iv never had any problem with it and the controller is great if you get the full pack. lots of great models to learn to fly and some great scenery not only included but that some players have created as well. Glad my review helped and i hope you have many hours of flying fun.
cool, Glad i could help. enjoy flying some cool aircraft without the fear of spending loads when you crash them. its a great sim for beginners ( like me) and pro's to keep their skill up :)
thanks, glad i could help in your choice. its a great sim and i think you'll love it. cracking controller as well. you'll have a lot of updates to do but they are all worth it :)
tbh not many of these have great tutorials as the concept its simple how they work, it just takes time to get used the handling of the aircraft. there are practice missions to do like dropping fake bombs on targets etc. the tutorials are mainly videos anyway so didnt want to show them on this.
Getting the hang of it now, used to always over compensate with the helis but sorted that now. I also switch modes now as well for helis and planes. The slower mode for the helis so it's not as abrupt movement. Just wish I could get out and use my real helicopter :(
Thanks for your reply, i asked a you tuber who did a video on the phoenix sim the exact same question and he said if you are not going to fly for real save your money, its expensive and boring. But you have not said that, as i said to him i just want a flight sim for pure fun on PC as i get with VRC PRO. His comment was, its pointless if you do not fly real. Thanks for your feedback
menacegtr no problem, imo it isn't pointless, if you don't want to spend all the money on real rc aircraft this is a great way of flying all the aircraft and only buying the Sim and a controller or a bundle. If you do get the bug and get even one plane or helicopter or whatever you will have a good start. I don't fly the real. Ones much as not a lot of time and the weather where I live sucks most the time lol.
Matt Gibby if one of your freinds has it have him email you his install file the program will know that it needs a new auth code you will have to buy the disc also but you will only need the auth code from it i think
im a long term phoenix user but been using realflight 7 for a few days. i can understand why people say RF is a better sim because flying the helis seems harder in that they are glitchy, unpredictable and technically challenging compared to the smooth and 'locked in' way phoenix helis work. but its not a huge difference and im not 100% sure the difficulty level is justified as the helis actually seem alot harder and less smooth to fly in RF than a real heli is. however i think phoenix is a MUCH better program over-all. its more mac like, slick and well thought out with no rough edges. RF is primitive and rough in the way the interface has been designed (or just evolved) and operates and not what i was expecting from quite expensive 2014 software that has had over 10 years and many paid for versions to iron out rough edges. its incredibly slow to load, looks quite old fashioned and windows 98 like, and when you move between the flight screen and menus its very slow, and there are odd windows opening and disappearing as it works out what to do. you get the impression its going to crash or freeze up at any time. the tuning menus are not very intuitive either, and its extremely hard to make the helis act differently from how they come as standard. im trying to alter the flip/roll rate (why is it soo slow as standard) but whatever i change doesnt make the heli fly any better. if i give it fast cyclic it just goes all wibbly wobbly. just been back to phoenix and i was right at home. the heli is not as fierce and realistic but its much more fun, to be honest. im sure RF is great too once you get used to it, but phoenix is better value IMO. it translates very well to real life, with no nasty surprises in the physics, and its taught me how to do quite advanced 3d on a 450 by using the bigger phoenix models
I just picked this kit up at a Buy and Sell store for 50 bucks so that I can learn to fly. Is it a good beginning point? Looking forward to enjoying it
It is a good starting point, though the support and website has closed down it should still be a good start. I do have another RC simulator review in the works but for the price you did good. And crashing on this is cheaper then crashing a real RC aircraft lol
hi there ,very good review :) could you tell me . I have a dx6i , and would like this sim , could I just buy the game and lead for it ?without the transmitter?
hi, ye you get the sim on its own and then the cable. dx6i is one of the models supported as well as a lot of other's so you should have no problem setting it up on this sim. i think the developer sells the cable separate as well.
Great video - couple of questions (apologies if people have already asked)... Is the sim able to be run on Mac (I have a macbook pro running on OS X and no CD/DVD drive) - if so, is there a way of purchasing as a download? Secondly, can you run the sim with the LP6DSM transmitter? Cheers
hi, unfortunately it will not run on mac products unless they are intel-based and running windows. as for the controller id say it should work as it does support a lot of transmitters. with out starting it up though i could not say for sure. if you want to know if the transmitter definitely works i can check tomorrow when i wake up.
Great review I have Phoenix rc do you think it will up date or do u think I might have to buy a new version I have seen some of these locations on my sim thanks
Dan Buss hi, phoenix is in the process of updating now. Looks like a big update with a better engine and new ways to fly. Once you bought it you will get free updates fairly regularly. Also the community content is great, very high quality models to fly and some nice flying sites. Not seen anything about a new version we have to buy yet. If I do see this I will put an update video up to let everyone know. So far though great free updates. Thanks for watching
I picked my copy up last Friday full of anticipation. Unfortunately despite installing the software with no problems on four different computers I have been unable to play it as the usb controller is recognised. I guess I've got a dud adapter so it appears that the only part of helicopter flying that it will be simulating for me is the endless trips to and from the modelshop the one part I can do with out! Seriously though from looking at the forums this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident and there is some disquiet over Phoenix's attitude when it comes to replacements. I'll report on how I get on. In the meantime this may be something worth considering when deciding which sim to go with.
strange, never had any problem with mine. though remember a lot of other controllers will work with the sim so if you already have a helo you fly check to see if the controller works with the sim. fingers crossed you get it working, as a consumer they have to replace a faulty item so dont stop until the issue is resolved.
Hello, great review. I was wondering if this simulator had 3rd person view. Ive been looking at flight sims and this has been brought up over and over as the best.
Hi and thanks for watching. as far as i know there is no 3rd person as it is made to be a simulator to help you keep your flying skills up on your RC aircraft. i have looked at the view options and havent ever seen this option.
hi guyver the transmitter i got with it is a 6 channel, 0904A, if that helps.sorted it out for got to edit n save.love flying the B.17 ,BUT CANT DO HELIS YET LOL.I AM LOOKING INTO BYING THE b.17.
glad you got it sorted. I love flying planes as well, landing is a bit dodgy though lol. helicopters will take some practice but are fun. Good luck if you get a B17 and if you need any more help just ask.
+Andre K no problem, not a lot of info about tbh. iv been asked a lot so did a q&a video about a lot of the questions I get asked and that is a popular one. glad I could help.
i have a spektrum DX5e wich came with this simulator, great controller and i have another one for my heli's. id say all Spektrum controllers are good and they have a good variety. a lot of them are also compatible with the sim.
Hey Guyver, nice video. I think all of us are trying to get a leg up flying out there. Nothing worse than a crash and a phone call to the toy shop on a fix it price. I'm getting into the same heli you have sio I bought this sim. My question. Scale of 1-10. (10 being most helpful). How helpful was this software for you in real outdoor flight with currency on the line? (aka crash) Cheers and thanks for taking the time to help us all out.
hi and thanks for watching, it is very useful for all the flying skills. i have the same controller for both the sim and my helo so makes things a lot easier. you will get used to the fine controls you need for flying and the sim can simulate any weather effects you want or even take the local weather and use that. a lot of pro's use this to keep their hand in during the bad weather months. so after that long winded reply id give it a 10 lol.
Hi, had a look around and looks like it will work but you will need a simulator cable and possibly software for it. I'd just start with the simulation cable. You could set up custome controls for it if needed. Your local hobby or model store may have them, if not try online from the manufacturer them selves. Hope this helped, Thanks for watching.
thank you so much for your reply just ordered a cable of banggood thanks again 22 in 1 RC Flight Simulator Cable for G7 Phoenix 5.0 Aerofly XTR VRC FPV Racing
Great great review. Really appreciate the effort. I've been thinking about getting this simulator since I wanna learn 3D Heli flying and your video has convinced me to get it. Just a quick question though... do you find these models as realistic as the real life models?
Hi Thanks for watching and glad i could help. from my experience with the Helicopter i have and the same one in the simulator id say yes, they are very realistic. as i mention in the video a lot of model pilots use this simulator to keep their skill up over say winter periods when they might not get the opportunity to fly their own models. it is great for trying out new models with out the expense of crashing them and repairing them. it helped me a lot when i first started flying helicopters. im still a novice as i dont get a lot of time even to practice on the sim. but im getting there. this sim has all the 3D stunt options you would need to practice. you can even set the wind to how you want it to make it more difficult and even replicate the weather conditions you see most often. hope this post helps. :)
iv only ever seen it for windows and checking their web site i can only see windows. not heard anything about a mac version so im not sure. check their web site or maybe even email them and see what they say.
My Phoenix 1V w/spektrum Dx5e not longer works right, something hacked into software downloads and all is opposite/backwards and reversed. I can't fly now and I'd erased download and re-install program. Its scrambled. I'm at a loss, HELP !.
check controller settings, mine did this when i updated the sim. your axis on the controller are reversed. you will need to uncheck or check the relevant boxes.
Hi,I have lost the download cd which came with the package I still have the spectrum dx5e remote control the program I installed has been deleted by mistake, does any one know if I can get this sight up and running again with out the cd?
not 100% sure tbh. if you have a cd key you may be able t download it from their website and use the key to activate it again. or ask their customer service if they can help you.
Hi , please help me !! I have downloaded my friends copy of phoenix 5 flight simulator on my computer but I have no lead , I have a hitech aurora 9 radio and cant find any info on what lead i need ?? any help would be much appreciated , thanks Scott .
Scott Thompson Hi Scott. from what i have read you need a Hitec simulator interface cable which is USB. and then do the following which i found on a website:- "The correct method for using your Hitec Aurora 9 with Phoenix is as follows: - Connect your USB interface to the radio's training socket. - Power on your radio using the switch - Press the "Multi I/O" button on the right of the screen (This only appears with the USB interface connected on power-on). - Choose "T-Pupil" from the options" your local RC store might have them or know where to get them. try where you got the controller from. hope this helped.
Hi, yes there are a couple of quad rotor aircraft in the SIM atm and your Devo7 controller should work ok. From what iv read all you need for the controller is a 3.5mm mono adapter. If ya need any more info feel free to ask and I'll reply asap.
Awesome so long as you don't need to update, or reinstall on a new computer. I wasn't even able to contact "support". Too bad, I like the program which ran fine on my XP system.
Hi Richard, What is the problem you are having? i have updated Phoenix many times and went from win7 to 10 with no problems. and also re installed on a new HDD. i may be able to help.
Hi, and thanks! So far the program hasn't been responding at all, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a second time without and change. I've downloaded and attempted to run the version 5 upgrade from the Phoenix site, but my computer seemed to have locked up, so I'll try again tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks again, it's very kind of you to offer assistance.
hmm ok, sounds strange. well try to update to version 5 and let me know. i'll have a think and see if i can come up with any solutions in the mean time. no problem, always happy to try to help anyone who has taken the time to watch and even reply to my videos.
had a quick check for you and there is an adaptor available so your controller will work. do a google search and you should find it. hopefully you will be able to get one close by and a good price.
After buying RealFlight and discovering they have NOTHING close to a 5-channel pusher glider, I looked at Phoenix website and notice they have ignored this type of plane as well. Sky Surfer, Cloud Surfer, Skywalker... NOTHING. It's almost creepy that everyone avoids these things.
when you plug it in you need to go to the options and select the controller you have. if you cant find it let me know. just put a new hard drive in and still have a lot to re install so will have to double check if you cant find it.
GuyverGamingTV i just played it for the first time and played it for 1 hour and got off for the day. Next day i tryed to play it and i need to set up the controller again! is there a way to set it up once and never need to set it up again?
RealFlight7 appears to have some excellent tutorials from well known flyers which are reviewed at Hobbico / GreatPlanes REALFLIGHT 7 Simulator Full Review & Demonstration Anyway, I chose Phoenix because of the graphics. RF7 looks like your flying around inside a cartoon. I can't understand why no one else has pointed that out.
ye id looked at most of the RC flight sims before getting this as this seemed the best and looked more realistic. wide choice of aircraft with the database always expanding plus some of the player created maps are really nice.
Cool, I have the DX 6i on the way, along with this sim. I live in the People's Republic Of California so crashing in the park might be punishable by 1 million dollar lawsuit followed by firing squad. I can fly the hell oughta the indoor gyro but soon to be humbled by the Nano fixed pitch. Hopefully the whole RC hobby will eventually pull in some chics..lol.
Hi. Heres hoping you can advise me on what to do with my Phoenix Sim. I have had it on my laptop a few months. until i let some one have a go with it before he had a go my bottom task bar for the comp and the little bar at the top used to disappear With the Sim task bar. God knows what he has pressed but it wont go now:( If i go into the settings and click full screen then it goes and wont be there what ever. Its just annoying. I could do with getting it back to how it was when first installed. Hope someone can help.
try pressing f11. i think thats the one that makes your task bar etc appear or makes the game/web page full screen. if this doesn't help let me know and i'll fire up my copy and see what i can find.
GuyverGamingTV Hi mate. Thanks for the reply :) Tryed f11 all that does is mute the sound. I have even uninstalled and re-installed a couple of times.Still wont bloody go :( God only knows what he has pressed.
GuyverGamingTV so, does the sim task bar at the top still vanish? if it just the laptop bar at the bottom i assume you play in windowed mode? if so right click on the task bar at the bottom and go to properties. then select the auto hide. if it is both bars i will have a play around with my sim and see if i can replicate the problem and then fix it. :) my copy is on a pc so might take a few goes to sort this out
GuyverGamingTV Thanks again :) Yeh the Sim bar goes and the lists down the left side. But the task bar on the lappy and there is a thin bar across the top that wont go. The top bar is just a long grey bar with the usual minimize red X and drop down buttons. It was fine till i let my mate have a go. Frickin night mare never again lol
Dino Jenkinson ok, well that sounds like windowed mode. the top bar with the red x will not go as far as i know as it is always visible in windowed mode. as for the bottom task bar follow my instructions in the last post and that will auto hide it after a few seconds. if you want no windows bars then keep the display settings set to full screen. :)
it is Phoenix RC simulator as show in the viceo screen shot. the 4 is version. if you get the sim now it will show a 5 when you load it up. there is only one Phoenix RC sim on the market.
I can no longer find this sim. i want to get it.. i have went directly to the phoenix website that leads me to horizonhobby.com and they do not carry it. I only see the real flight software listed.
JimmyDean1992 try ebay or amazon, have you any local hobby stores near you? They may stock it. Also you could Google search it and see what the shopping tab brings up. Hope this helps, if you still can't find it let me know your location and I'll look into anyone stocking it for you.
glad your liking the SIM, not sure on the settings problem though. how are you dissconnecting the transmitter? are you turning the SIM off first? it should save whatever settings you have. if you want try to save another transmitter profile and see if that states active when you start up again. if your still having problems let me know and I'll look into it. what transmitter did you get?
85redvette I'll look into the manual bit for you. The website only has German, French etc and no English. As for the drones some are already in game. Look in the model selection and they are In a section marked other I think. Not at home atm so can't check. Others may available through the player created models.
thank you i found it , go to check for updates , go to the green icon ( magnifier ) the Phoenix 5 manual will open , just copy to the desk top or print it.
ok, what i'll do then is when i get home i will load up the game and tell you exactly where they should be. hopefully you will have them and find them easy enough. should be later today.
Hi to you. I am a complete novice to RC aircraft and heli, never ever flown real or sim. I have VRC PRO RC Simulator for cars and i am very proficient at it. So bare that in mind, could you please say in your opinion which for me would be the better sim to get for complete ease of use.. Realflight 7 or Phoenix RC Simulator. I have no interest in doing this for real, i would just love to do this on my PC and waste many hours. i would please appreciate any feedback from you. Regards
menacegtr Hi, first off thanks for watching the video and hope it helped even if just a little. Tbh the Sim you choose is up to you. I haven't used realflight 7 but from what I've seen I'd go for phoenix. More sites to fly at and all real photos/sites. Plus a lot more aircraft to fly and more being added by fellow rc pilots all the time. Not as many views available but I think phoenix is adding more. It seems more realistic to me and I love it. Cheapest way to do rc flying, and the feel is great, I have one of the helicopters in the Sim and I fly on the Sim when the weather is too bad at home and it feels the same and helps keep my hand in so I don't get rusty. Looks like realflight X is out soon. All depends on what you want tbh. More views for the aircraft realflight is good, more realism in sites and larger collection of aircraft phoenix. Hope this helps, any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
hi guyver just to let you no that ive just bought the phoenix rc5 simulater with transmitter,NOT cheep r thay lol, anyway ill let you no how i get no my friend.
The simulator is no longer under development and has been discontinued. Dind not know they had taken down the wedsite though. Thanks for letting me know. I am reviewing a new RC flight Sim atm. Video will hopefully be up soon.
MoonBoom Channel the one I use is for Europe, you could try that if possible. If your looking at buying it local model shops would be best bet as the site only directs you to local suppliers.
I wish, hardly had any views on my bf 4 vids so didn't bother with any more. Hopefully get some bf1 vids up when it's out and get a better response. Plus I do a lot and for some reason this is super popular lol.
Good afternoon, Sorry for my bad english... My software know my AZPRO radio but when I have tried to create a new profile, I have a problem. The problem is that there isn't le word "following" but only skip. How can I solve this problem please?
i am assuming you are trying to get the Azpro to work with Phoenix RC sim? try to set up a normal profile first and see if you change things then to use what ever system you need. if there is still no next button showing then the best thing t do is go to www.phoenix-sim.com/support.asp and see if they can help. it is hard to tell what exactly is wrong with out seeing it and i would need more details. the Phoenix web site is the best place as im just a user and not that experienced with the profile side of things or the setting tbh.

Would've appreciated more info on the tutorials. After all, that's a major factor in which simulator to choose from.

Hi awesome review. My laptop doesn't have a DVD rome drive. Is there a way to buy it?
If had a look around and as far as I can see there is no digital download available. The website itself only has links to DVD sales.
Matt Gibby if one of your freinds has it have him email you his install file the program will know that it needs a new auth code you will have to buy the disc also but you will only need the auth code from it i think
+Matt Gibby You can get an external DVD drive to load the CD on your laptop. I'm not aware if there is a digital download available for it yet.
+RakinBill good idea, still no digital download but i am asking if it is an option for the future.

Great review. Thanks so much.
no problem, thanks for watching and happy i could help
Hello, great review. I was wondering if this simulator had 3rd person view. Ive been looking at flight sims and this has been brought up over and over as the best.
Hi and thanks for watching.
as far as i know there is no 3rd person as it is made to be a simulator to help you keep your flying skills up on your RC aircraft. i have looked at the view options and havent ever seen this option.
Okay thanks. I think Ill get this when I get the funds. Thanks for the reply.
Matt Meeper no problem, glad i could help.
hi guyver the transmitter i got with it is a 6 channel, 0904A, if that helps.sorted it out for got to edit n save.love flying the B.17 ,BUT CANT DO HELIS YET LOL.I AM LOOKING INTO BYING THE b.17.
glad you got it sorted. I love flying planes as well, landing is a bit dodgy though lol. helicopters will take some practice but are fun. Good luck if you get a B17 and if you need any more help just ask.
Was this all downloaded over CD? Also, is this compatible with Apple Mac OS operating systems? I don't have any windows computers or a cd tray...
ATM there is no downloadable version and unfortunately only works on windows operation systems.
+GuyverGamingTV thanks for the reply. I've spent hours trying to get those two answers
+Andre K no problem, not a lot of info about tbh. iv been asked a lot so did a q&a video about a lot of the questions I get asked and that is a popular one.
glad I could help.
thanks for this . i have been looking to buy a sim . and think iam going to get this one .
glad i could help, you will have a lot fun with this sim and will help you learn/practice with any different models.
Stellar review! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, thanks for watching.
Do you mind sharing how did you capture the screen? Thank you. Great vid.
I use Xsplit to capture footage and stream and Sony Vegas to edit.
Appreciated!

Can you recommend a good Remote control, I want to begin fly heli's but thinking of buying this first and want a good RC for future chopper buy.
i have a spektrum DX5e wich came with this simulator, great controller and i have another one for my heli's. id say all Spektrum controllers are good and they have a good variety. a lot of them are also compatible with the sim.
GuyverGamingTV Thanks for you fast reply, going to look into Spektrum then. =)
MrJizez no problem, happy to help.
(aka crash)
Cheers and thanks for taking the time to help us all out.
hi and thanks for watching, it is very useful for all the flying skills. i have the same controller for both the sim and my helo so makes things a lot easier. you will get used to the fine controls you need for flying and the sim can simulate any weather effects you want or even take the local weather and use that. a lot of pro's use this to keep their hand in during the bad weather months. so after that long winded reply id give it a 10 lol.
please can you tell me if the FlySky FS-i6 2.4G 6CH transmitter will work with this sim?
Hi, had a look around and looks like it will work but you will need a simulator cable and possibly software for it. I'd just start with the simulation cable. You could set up custome controls for it if needed. Your local hobby or model store may have them, if not try online from the manufacturer them selves.
Hope this helped, Thanks for watching.
thank you so much for your reply just ordered a cable of banggood thanks again 22 in 1 RC Flight Simulator Cable for G7 Phoenix 5.0 Aerofly XTR VRC FPV Racing
+neal4254 that's great, glad I could help and enjoy flying.
what version is this? I don't have the 450 nightly helicopter.
this is like 1.4, check the downloads and get all the aircraft and maps.
Is there drones in this game? (Or downloadable drones/quads?) And do you need a gamling computer or would it work fine on an average gaming laptop?
Replied above, also a normal laptop should be able to run the SIM fine. It is well optimised.
O mine must be the first version I haven't played it in years it's just called Phoenix flight sim not Phoenix 4 so I hope it updates
Dan Buss ye should update, up to about 5.2 or something now. If it dosent auto update just go options and update.
Great great review. Really appreciate the effort. I've been thinking about getting this simulator since I wanna learn 3D Heli flying and your video has convinced me to get it. Just a quick question though... do you find these models as realistic as the real life models?
Hi
Thanks for watching and glad i could help.
from my experience with the Helicopter i have and the same one in the simulator id say yes, they are very realistic. as i mention in the video a lot of model pilots use this simulator to keep their skill up over say winter periods when they might not get the opportunity to fly their own models. it is great for trying out new models with out the expense of crashing them and repairing them. it helped me a lot when i first started flying helicopters. im still a novice as i dont get a lot of time even to practice on the sim. but im getting there.
this sim has all the 3D stunt options you would need to practice. you can even set the wind to how you want it to make it more difficult and even replicate the weather conditions you see most often.
hope this post helps. :)
very nice graphic
is there a fpv
does it work with flysky tx
Alaa Kassab yes and yes!
is this only out for windows? and would it ever be out for mac?
iv only ever seen it for windows and checking their web site i can only see windows. not heard anything about a mac version so im not sure. check their web site or maybe even email them and see what they say.
My Phoenix 1V w/spektrum Dx5e not longer works right, something hacked into software downloads and all is opposite/backwards and reversed. I can't fly now and I'd erased download and re-install program. Its scrambled. I'm at a loss, HELP !.
check controller settings, mine did this when i updated the sim. your axis on the controller are reversed. you will need to uncheck or check the relevant boxes.
elevator servos won't engage w/it's memory.
Hi,I have lost the download cd which came with the package I still have the spectrum dx5e remote control the program I installed has been deleted by mistake, does any one know if I can get this sight up and running again with out the cd?
not 100% sure tbh. if you have a cd key you may be able t download it from their website and use the key to activate it again. or ask their customer service if they can help you.
hi can you tell me which version this is, thanks cool vid
this is an early version 4. i think we are up to 5 or 6 now. not much has changed, just more models and other tweeks.
thanks, do you know where is the best place to buy
David P O'Brien you can buy it from their website or most RC shops stock it. All depends on your location.
Hi , please help me !! I have downloaded my friends copy of phoenix 5 flight simulator on my computer but I have no lead , I have a hitech aurora 9 radio and cant find any info on what lead i need ?? any help would be much appreciated , thanks Scott .
Scott Thompson Hi Scott. from what i have read you need a Hitec simulator interface cable which is USB. and then do the following which i found on a website:-
"The correct method for using your Hitec Aurora 9 with Phoenix is as follows:
- Connect your USB interface to the radio's training socket.
- Power on your radio using the switch
- Press the "Multi I/O" button on the right of the screen (This only appears with the USB interface connected on power-on).
- Choose "T-Pupil" from the options"
your local RC store might have them or know where to get them. try where you got the controller from.
hope this helped.
GuyverGamingTV many thanks , very helpful .
Scott Thompson no problem. Glad I could help.
And can you use a Devo F7 controller?
Hi, yes there are a couple of quad rotor aircraft in the SIM atm and your Devo7 controller should work ok. From what iv read all you need for the controller is a 3.5mm mono adapter.
If ya need any more info feel free to ask and I'll reply asap.
looks fun, and I even orded realflight 7.5
+Mike Paniora What is better?
Thanks again, it's very kind of you to offer assistance.
hmm ok, sounds strange. well try to update to version 5 and let me know. i'll have a think and see if i can come up with any solutions in the mean time. no problem, always happy to try to help anyone who has taken the time to watch and even reply to my videos.
can i connect this sim with my walkera devo 8s?
had a quick check for you and there is an adaptor available so your controller will work. do a google search and you should find it. hopefully you will be able to get one close by and a good price.
After buying RealFlight and discovering they have NOTHING close to a 5-channel pusher glider, I looked at Phoenix website and notice they have ignored this type of plane as well. Sky Surfer, Cloud Surfer, Skywalker... NOTHING. It's almost creepy that everyone avoids these things.
your mode 2 have you thought mode 1 itmight help
Where can you buy it
how do you set up the controller
when you plug it in you need to go to the options and select the controller you have. if you cant find it let me know. just put a new hard drive in and still have a lot to re install so will have to double check if you cant find it.
thanks i got it working btw great video
thats great, just re installed my copy again so was about to give you more detailed help :) glad you liked the video. thanks for watching :)
np
GuyverGamingTV i just played it for the first time and played it for 1 hour and got off for the day. Next day i tryed to play it and i need to set up the controller again! is there a way to set it up once and never need to set it up again?
RealFlight7 appears to have some excellent tutorials from well known flyers which are reviewed at Hobbico / GreatPlanes REALFLIGHT 7 Simulator Full Review & Demonstration
Anyway, I chose Phoenix because of the graphics.
Hopefully the whole RC hobby will eventually pull in some chics..lol.
lol, nice controller. i have the DX 5e they are good controllers. not too sure about the chics lol :P fingers crossed though.
Hi is this phoenix 4 sim ?? Cheers
it is Phoenix RC simulator as show in the viceo screen shot. the 4 is version. if you get the sim now it will show a 5 when you load it up. there is only one Phoenix RC sim on the market.
Hope this helps, if you still can't find it let me know your location and I'll look into anyone stocking it for you.
hi guyver the simulator is f-uking awesome, BUT everytime i turn on my computer i have to reset my settings on my transmiter ,why is this HELP PLEASE.
glad your liking the SIM, not sure on the settings problem though. how are you dissconnecting the transmitter? are you turning the SIM off first? it should save whatever settings you have. if you want try to save another transmitter profile and see if that states active when you start up again. if your still having problems let me know and I'll look into it.
what transmitter did you get?
good stuff
thank you.
your welcome bub :)
how do i down load multi rotor drones
85redvette I'll look into the manual bit for you. The website only has German, French etc and no English. As for the drones some are already in game. Look in the model selection and they are In a section marked other I think. Not at home atm so can't check. Others may available through the player created models.
thank you
i found it , go to check for updates , go to the green icon ( magnifier ) the Phoenix 5 manual will open , just copy to the desk top or print it.
have you found the drones yet?
i found the manual but not the drones
ok, what i'll do then is when i get home i will load up the game and tell you exactly where they should be. hopefully you will have them and find them easy enough. should be later today.
That should read 'unrecognised'!
Hope this helps, any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
goto 20:00 to see it fly
hi guyver just to let you no that ive just bought the phoenix rc5 simulater with transmitter,NOT cheep r thay lol, anyway ill let you no how i get no my friend.
Lol nice, no they are not cheap but good bits of kit. what transmitter did it come with?
Hope you enjoy it and let me know how you get on.
veri gud
Link does not work
The simulator is no longer under development and has been discontinued. Dind not know they had taken down the wedsite though. Thanks for letting me know. I am reviewing a new RC flight Sim atm. Video will hopefully be up soon.
Site for Lithuania is in russian and I suck at russian...
MoonBoom Channel can you not see the english one? I suck at Russian as well lol.
What do you mean? When you go to site for Russia, Lithuania and Latvia the site is in russian and I don't see how to change it (if you can)
MoonBoom Channel the one I use is for Europe, you could try that if possible. If your looking at buying it local model shops would be best bet as the site only directs you to local suppliers.
replica game of replica helicopters lol less flying more crashing and destruction lol
who cares about rc simulator, battlefield 4 is enough lol
I wish, hardly had any views on my bf 4 vids so didn't bother with any more. Hopefully get some bf1 vids up when it's out and get a better response. Plus I do a lot and for some reason this is super popular lol.
Good afternoon,
Sorry for my bad english...
