James Whitehouse Yeah, i'm sort of annoyed as the class 390 and 91, and the apt in fact can all go over 140mph, but they never do because of signalling :( and there's 373, 374, i'm sure there is more😂
The ICE train is from Germany and in the late 80s Amtrak was supposed to sign a contract for a faster, better, and smoother train. Which was the ICE train and X2000 which was another German train.
17:08 - that realisation you feel when you find out trains have phones P.s the one without the buttons is for emergency and the one with is for announcements
The ICE (Intercity-Express) train is from Germany. TGV stands for Train à Grande Vitesse, which means high-speed train in French. The British train is a British Rail Class 395.
The english 'javelin' in an EMU. It doesn't have a power car at the front but all the others do, which makes it smaller. Plus most U.K. high speed trains are longer, it's just that one is smaller because it only goes to kent, the others go much further.
The red and white train is The ICE train from Germany, and it's the fastest train in Germany, but the one you were using was The ICE model 2, next time you should try The ICE 4.
On the trains here the end units are referred to as "power cars." Also a modified T.G.V. Train went 357.2 MPH (574.8 km/h), and in regular service on some lines the TGV is permitted up to 200 MPH (320 k/mh).
I think the 395 Javelin Looks best from inside and outside... The germain InterCityExpress 2, which you were showing is the ugliest, but, though I'm from Germany, I think the Javelin is the best high Speed Train, followed by the ICE 3, the german Version of the spanish Velaro E
The British one is the Class 395 Javelin, and they only operate services no more than 2 hours. Try using something like the HST, 390 Pendolino or Class 91 InterCity 225 next time for a more accurate representation
Acela Express runs at 150 mph, and, as you said, in 2019 it will get replaced with new trains capable of speeds between 186 mph and 220 mph. And the horn is way different in real life.
The Acela Express is an electric loco like we all know, but it's not just an electric loco. It's also a very fast bullet train. In Train Sim, it's my favorite train. In fact, I always use that train because it's so fast. Like this comment if you agree that AE was great.
if it's an Electric train or diesel train look at the first 3 digits of the number of the train, and if its a freight train look at the front 2 numbers. and its always a (Class) of train, for example 'Class 395' was the British High Speed train.
The Javelin is so short because it only runs on a 67mile line between london and kent. The other 3 run on much longer intercity trains so they need to be longer. If you put an Azuma next to the foreign locos it would look about the same.
Revise your knowledge the British one you used was a high speed EMU not a high speed locomotive also the ICE is from Germany so if you do this vid again use the class 91 as the British rep not the class 395
@@-Joethefish-, I'd rather have a Javelin or class 800, they aren't made by Britain but run there and both have pretty good top speeds, I would like to have a Eurostar if the run was very long as it has a high top speed but since it's pretty short I'd rather have a quickly accelerating train like the class 800/801/802.
You might like the BR407 which is the base for the new Eurostars. They're short and snappy which a high power to weight ratio due to the requirements of a line they run on.
Joe Burgess you mean the e320? It’s the DB 407 right? and the BR 374 is my pfp, the e320. The e320 and the DB 407 are very mechanically similar but the Eurostar e320 has more coaches I believe.
Yep that's the one. The e320 is 16 and the BR407 is 8. The cabs also differ by having their controls mirrored. If you look for cab images of both on Google, you'll see what I mean.
Actually the TGV which could go about 574.6 km/h isn't a TGV POS neither a Duplex, it is some kind of a modificated train was made specially for the speed record
BlueKingNL he is probably from the Netherlands and Dutch I think is Nederlands in Dutch so he would say that because it's closest to his native language
How much does this guy love his own voice?! Deeply irritating! Can't even be bothered to research anything first, continually bashing Britain, and size is everything to him. Hmmmmm.... My four year old likes the visuals but even he got annoyed at this guy referring to Mallard as 'the Mollard'. 😂

The English trains called a class 395 nicknamed javelin. It is the fastest train in England.
It's a called the javelin and in England they are normally a lot longer. It depends where it's going or what line.
James Whitehouse Yeah, i'm sort of annoyed as the class 390 and 91, and the apt in fact can all go over 140mph, but they never do because of signalling :( and there's 373, 374, i'm sure there is more😂
Good point
Or the Class 395.
It is called Javelin good
USA - Acela Express
Germany - Inter City Express
France - Train a Grand Vitesse
UK - Javelin
The reason why the UK train is so small is because it runs on National Rail's tracks. And there's a size limit to how large the train can be
You have to use ICE 3 instead of ICE 2
Robin Buchmüller I agree
Nope used 2m should have used 3m
J think two
Yep, 186 MPH.
Ey ist es dein ernst das ist der ice 2
The class 395 (the hs1) is normally connected up to 1 to 2 trains so it’s normally 6 to 12 coaches
Correct
Good to know
It's 6/12 actually.
LaerJet: "It's going like a bullet train!" Me: That's because it is!
The TGV is so op it doesn't need pantographs

Dezon yeah but The ICE 4 is the fastest model.
I know but it isn't on Steam yet
Dezon maybe in the future.
no, the ice 4 only does 250 km/h or 155 mp/h
The British EMU is the javelin, which is used on high speed 1, which means that it goes 140mph normaly.
the ice is from germany
the javelin train (class 395) is from uk
The 2019 is actually just the number of the locomotive it’s not the year that it goes out of service

the acela express is a snail
The ICE is the German Inter-City Express and the Javelin/Class 800 runs with two sets combined.
I think the Javelin is the class 395, or the 'A train' made by Hitachi.
The uk train is a class 395 "Javelin "

You should do a race between The ICE model 4 and The TGV Train.
Johnny Klebitz The ICE 4 is slower than the ICE 3
I know, I just want to see how fast The ICE 4 can go.
The ICE 4 doesn't exist in train sim yet
It does. But it's not in the steam shop
Jonboy Where? I have never seen it before. The ICE 1,2 and original 3 all exist but the later Ice 3 and Ice 4 Do not

Germany- ICE 3
France- TGV
UK- Class 395 Javelin Southeastern Highspeed
Acela Express is not ending in 2019 its just the number of the train
Jeff Sanders whew I thought it was gonna go out of business thank god it isn’t but the number keeps changing do you know why cause I don’t
It is being replaced with avelia liberty
Next number 2020
The UK train was called the Javelin and it is quite famous.

They also drive in the netherlands not from db but nederlandse spoorwegen
Kian Brink yeah on the ICE international routes normally heading to Germany. When I went on one from Amsterdam it was headed for Basel
The ICE is from German but from Düsseldorf Collage Drive the IC = Intercity and the ICE = Intercity Express to Amsterdam
The high speed trains are designed to do what's in there name so they'll be fine on the steep one

That navy blue train was a Class 395 and it is known to be called a "Javelin" and I know it runs at Stratford inter-national and St-Pancras
Eddie's Adventures Ashford and Ebbsfleet.

The Acela is being retired in 2022 not 2019, 2019 is just a road number on the engine
What's Accela?? Is that the even spelling?????
TrisTCM TheChangingMinecart The Acela Express is the Bullet Train of America that operates between Washington D.C. and Boston.
The Class 395 limited to a top speed of 140, the Acela has it beat by 10 mph
TrisTCM TheChangingMinecart TGV IS NOT A WORD

Tony Plays it stands for something in French,
"Train au grande vittesse."
Facts before say.
On the ICE you pronounce every letter separat.
Like I C E
Train à grand vitesse
grande*
2019 is the locomotive number, the sets are due to be retired in 2021
Ice is german
Tgv stands for train de grand vitesse what means very fast train
pitii 0810 it's not train de grande Vitesse it's train à grande vitesse
On the next episode of downhill speed tests, you should do 19th century locomotives like the Jupiter.

ICE is "InterCityExpress" and it's from Germany, the 'UK train' is the Class 395 "Javelin".
The British train is called javelin
Class 395
Meaning of trains:
ICE=Inter City Express
TGV=Train à Grande Vitesse
4:35 it’s 2020 and the Acelas are still running. They are being replaced in 2021
1st train: Acela Express
2nd train: Ice 2
3rd train: TGV Dulpux
4th train: Class 395
maybe the reason why the trains didnt derail is because they were meant to go very fast
The UK one is an InterCity, and it's smaller than the rest because it has longer carriages and it's more compact, but it only has three carriages.
HydesR01 The UK one is called a Javelin to Uk dwellers
The British one is the class 395 javelin,it can reach a top speed on the HS1 area of 168 M/H
TGV stands for Train de grand vitesse.
Which means Highspeed Train.
3:43 I don't think so! I think the Acela uses a K5LA horn, like the rest of Amtrak's passenger locos!
10:30 there's no underside to the floor!
Do the electric speed test with the OBB train, Aem-7 Acs64, Hhp-8 train
I love all the trains from other countries
Either way I think the speed test was very entertaining and nice job. You should do more speed tests!!!!
I love trains this is why I watch it

Acela Express- USA
T.G.V-France
Blue rapier- UK (My country)
The ICE is a German train. And the TGV Go at 320 km/h in normal time with passengers
