Hi Dominic and thanks for your comment. 😀🙏 I had forgotten my usual gloves and it was cold to hold the camera in the handle so I took the work gloves. 😂😂😂
First time on your channel. Wonderful photography! I've had my Z9 since July and also was lucky enough to acquire an 800 PF. In 5 weeks I'm headed to Panama with Glenn Bartley, so I'll have lots of chances to use this combination!
One word . ..Wow! excellent production from a pro! All I can say is that this Z9 and it's lenses are really magnificent pieces of engineering! It put all else in a shade really? To think with future firmware updates will only enhance the Z9 even better is a scary thought indeed?
So fortunate to get so close to the birds there my friend you can really appreciate them from that distance and also get some great images- super video. 👍
Those purple sandpipers are lovely little birds. You got some great video footage of them. How did you find the autofocus performance for video? And what AF settings did you use for video?
Hi and thanks for your kind comment. 🙏😀 I often use Wide-L and to get focus I have on fn2 programmed a one-point focus. So once I get the focus, I release fn2.
Thanks Harish😀🙏 In this video I use Nikon 400 mm f / 2.8 F-mount. I Also use 14-24 , 24-70 , 70-200 all f/2.8 and 200-500 f/5.6, 300 f/4 800 f/5.6 50 f/1.8 and Sigma macro 150 mm f/2.8 Thanks🙏
@@Halmstadfoto Wow so many! I have all them except 800, 200-500, Sigma. I have few others though. My main work is sports here in UK. My z9 arrived early Feb so still learning, wish I had bought two. I still have my D5(2x), D4s & D810 plus all the F mount glass. Only z lens I have is 70-200f2.8 Have fun. I will come to Sweden for the wildlife one day!🙂👍
@@harishchavdampagbaips3597 Hi, I have been out building an osprey nest today but now I am home. I have also kept my old cameras. You are so welcome to Sweden. have a nice weekend.
Fantastic birds. We get them here but the location they chose means you have to shot from about three feet above them. It means I have to pick a more distant bird to get a lower angle. Great video as usual.
Great video as always! Thank you so much for your inspiring work! I wish you could comment a little more what you are filming or photographing and what settings you applied like focal length, aperture, shutter speed. I guess that would make it more interesting than just watching the birds and listening to the background music. I think there is so much to learn from you…I just love your images. Maybe you can show us your work-flow for post editing your images. What software do you use? Do you invest much time in post-editing? Keep it up!!!
Many thanks Ed for your comment and for inspiring me to make better films. my problem is my poor english which makes me hold back my comments but I practice. I lissen to you and I will try to teach more in the future. Many thanks. 🙏😀
So you just got the Z9 for yourself or was this a loaner (hope it's yours), beautiful video and photos as always you are very didicated to your craft and it shows. You should be a Nikon Ambassador for Sweden. Take care and stay dry.....
Thank you so much Jeffery 😀🙏 I've had the camera for almost 2 months and I'm super happy. I will try to stay dry in the future. 😂😂. Yes, I know I'm talking a lot about Nikon but I'm so happy with my Z9
@@Halmstadfoto I got my Z9 the end of January and I am a generalist , however my focus (pun intended) has been on birds the last 3-4 years and I luv the results with the Z9 but I still kept my D850 for now as a 2nd camera.

Excellent video! And I am happy to share that I received my Z9 today (May 20), which I booked on March 07, 2022! Some advice please: Between Sigma 150-600 Sports and Nikkor Z100-400, which one should I start with for wildlife and birds? Eventually I would like to go for a 600 F4.
thanks so much. I appreciate your comment. 😀🙏. Personally, I would choose the Nikon Z 100-400 because I think the autofocus is much faster. I actually take the most photos with my Nikon 400 and that's enough. then you can easily put on an extender. Then Sigma's lens is supposed to be great, but the speed of the autofocus determines for me. Good luck with your Z9. 😀
The images are truly beautiful. The light was fantastic.
