Seems like an easy fix, but it's not something you should have to do on a figure at this price point. Combined with the single jointed elbows, this one is an easy pass for me. You saved me some money.
You're 100% correct and no figure, especially one of this expense should have QC issues and design flaws of this magnitude. It's a bit of a bummer for sure. Glad this vid helped you.
I asked on the short but I’ll ask it here. Do you reccomend the figure without the fix? It will bother me for sure however idk if I wanna risk breaking it or if I have the tools to fix it
Sorry for the miss, but yes, even without the fix, I would recommend him. Outside of the reversed arms and the single joint elbows, it's still a stellar figure.
@@ultrarunr Ahh ok. There's just a lot of figures I can choose from atm and not a lot of money to spend so I gotta pick carefully. I'll update you with my decision
@vjaymetal9626 I have my Mafex Endgame Cap in a running position with the spinning Mjolnir since the day I got him. In that position, I you can't see the neck issue. Again, the only real fix would be blue or black tack. You can see all the SHF and Mafex Caps in the link below from my channel. ua-cam.com/video/DIaKl-1QJek/v-deo.htmlsi=vQRJaZNU8mB7tWLz
Thanks for the video! When changing the headsculpts, does the neck peg come out as well? When I first got it, for whatever reason no matter which head I put it always took the neck peg with it when changinf
I never noticed they were backwards. It really doesn't bother me either way and I say that mainly bc I'm having trouble popping off the arm and affraid of breaking it w/my luck. SOoooo guess I'll just live w/it bc its not a game changer for me....juss sayin'.
Prob should have started from the top! Meaning open the box. Get the items with the forearms on the wrong way. Then take it apart. Then put it back together correctly. You showed 1/2 of the work to fix it.
@@ultrarunrI’m guessing he wanted to see you take apart the forearms to swap them. I wouldn’t mind knowing how much you heated it up since I just ordered this but have never disassembled an import figure
@darrickwardjr.8736 don't know if you still need to see this, but I have a short going up in a few minutes where I swapped the arms and then swapped them back just to show it from the start of the process. No heat needed. Sorry for the confusion. Totally get where you were coming from. Thanks @cornholio174 for the explanation.
@@ultrarunr just trying to help you get more views. A good portion of the video was watching the figure sit there. With the time you could have unboxed the figure. Show some cool poses. Also take apart the figure. Some people might not know how to. They could end up breaking it.

It’s a bummer but I’m not going to miss this figure!
Yeah, I couldn't pass him up either. Neutral pose, he's really good.
Thank u for this video
You're very welcome!

No problem. Glad to help.
hi, can u shorten his neck? its a little bit higher.
I hadn't really noticed that issue on my copy. You could remove the ball peg and put blue tack on it until you get the height you prefer.
@@ultrarunr it is noticeable with the mask sculpt. and if u have the endgame version. u will notice the neck difference.

I didn't have an issue with the neck peg coming out on this particular figure. I really never have that problem with Mafex figures, mainly SHF.

Yeah, totally understand. If it doesn't bother you than there's no reason to change it. Unfortunately for me, once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. LOL!

What do you mean?

I didn't heat them at all. I stated in the vid that I took them off just my pulling them.
