This makes me smile so much because it’s so nostalgic for me. My parents were competitive ballroom dancers and it was such a privilege, I never realized, to see talented dancers do this. It felt tribal in a magical theatrical sense with the lights and the energy of the audience too.
My eyes always sparkled at their costumes and crazy hairstyles and the amazing movements

Border Collie Draco. Absolutely spot on.That has been a hallmark of their dancing particularly Stef for as long as I can remember, even as an amateur. Its one of the major reasons why I have been such a die hard fan for years and love Stef with all his partners . I always felt that R&Y were competing. You could see, it feel it and smell it and despite thei brilliance in other ways, that aspect of them never appealed to me..

I don't think I've ever seen them dance any better and with so much confidence. Infact to me they just look so ready and hungry to take the mantle especially Dasha and she looks tigerish and absolutely out to claim this title which I have to say as a long time fan they well deserve. I've not seen the actual final, but based only on what I'm seeing here I don't think there's anyone to stand in the way of them becoming world champions at this time. Crongrats guys, its been a long time coming. You have waited patiently for this and so have your fans.
They are the new champions, their honour dance was a riot. He hit a slippery patch and bottomed out with enough speed to almost get a swirly spinning bit on his backside before recovering.
Holly Wood. Yes UK champions, but I'm sure that you know winning this title sets a couple up with a big advantage for the world title which is yet to come. As for the slip and fall I wouldn't mind betting that Stef made even that look half decent. Anyway I'm just delighted for them..
