    I personaly use Evolution FX-S as a forehand rubber on Yasaka Sweden Extra blade .. it is fantastic rubber. it gives me confidence that I can loop every ball. i'm advanced amateur and this is the best rubber I have ever use. it is not a monster in terms of speed but control over the ball placement is outstanding

    I play with the both since 8 months, so i think more precision can help some one.
    Fx-s 1.8mm for short game - block - active defense - no spin attack on both side.
    Fx-s 2.0mm for top and sidespin and powerfull backhand, realy sure in short game, fantastic backspin. The best BH since Rookie DTech-s in my opinion.
    Fx-s 2.2mm for side and topspin machine, NO short game and only on backhand.
    El-s 2.0mm for block short game and quick attack on both side.
    El-s 2.2mm for block short game and quick attack on both side. Verygood for counter topspin and 1st attack.
    Becarefull: El-s is good only 3 WEEKS!! There is a big problem of longevity.
    Fx-s NO PROBLEM very good after 2 month. This rubber is probably the better Tibhar rubber with Mx-p (to hard for me) and the legend Varispin (old or DTech-s).

    I played with all rubbers from evolution series besides ELS and i can tell that MXP and MXS are only for pros or amateurs who play only strong finishing shots, coz they are impossible to controll without regular daily training and flawless footwork. So far, I found that FXS and ELP have the best balance between speed and spin and they suit best for advanced amateurs. Furthermore, clicking sound of FXS is just amazing and a lot of players asked me if I use speed glue or booster (which i dont). Cheers.

    thx for these reviews ! the main "cons" of these rubbers is the weight, much more heavier than the tenergies series !

    great job as usual guys! I love MXP but I've decided to stick with my T05 on the fh, and Bryce Highspeed on the backhand. Hurricane Long 5 blade. AWESOME

    I play EL-S on FH and FX-S on BH in 1,9 on my Donic Persson Powerallround All+, it lacks a little bit of tempo but it has a great sweetspot...maybe trying it on an off blade in the future...for allrounders with some small technic issues they are perfect

    Which would you recommend?

    Nice review. I too found MX-P way too uncontrollable. I know a guy who's rated slightly above 2500 USATT and he uses it. But when I use it, ball went out of control. It's not the speed that's an issue. While I like its more direct shot capability, it's more the lack of spin as compared to Tenergy 05. But tenergy doesn't seem as fast as I'd want it. So the ELS reviewed here may be a good option...

    can someone make a little comparasiation of the fxs and andro rasant powersponge? especially the spin and throw angle would be very interesting, as many people say the fxs can generate extremely much spin

    Great review, I find the ELS top sheet different from MXP-FXP-ELP rubbers which gives it more grip and spin. I play with the SSCB and ELS 2.0 both sides, great combo. Do you find MXS or ELS to have more grip/spin? Also will you review the new Tibhar VS Unlimited anytime soon? Thanks

      Dan, Tom.. Thank you for reviewing ELS and FXS, which led me to try both of them.. For my Forehand and Backhand on my TB ALC.. They are great for me, especially the FXS on backhand.. Improved my game a lot after adjusting my strokes and strategy in the past one month..

    I noticed the video was missing where you and Tom state which of the rubbers you prefer to use (in the other evolution video and genesis video).

  • @azertyqwerty4528
    @azertyqwerty4528 5 років тому

    Be carefull: EL-S is good for 3 wekks then the top sheet come harder. The FX-S has a beter durability and i prefer it for backhand but in 2.0mm, 2.2 is a bit too "chewing gum" for return the serves. In forehand i think MX-P is the best Evolution. MX-P 50 is realy for pro player and need an extraordinary feeling to be secure. In my opinion of course.

    • @leocossham
      @leocossham 4 роки тому +1

      I just ordered both of the rubbers in the title of the video and it was a good coincidence that you recommended the fx-s for the backhand and 2.0mm as thats exactly what I went for!

    Dan would you recommend Boosting these rubbers (ELS) when they are still new to get better speed spin. (I'm not planning to play in any tournaments)

    • @TableTennisDaily
      @TableTennisDaily  7 років тому

      I would say these rubbers do not need boost. They are already fast, boosting may damage the quality of the rubber.

    • @Rusiputki
      @Rusiputki 7 років тому +1

      Anything can be boosted, with porous sponges you don't over do it because it will turn into mush. However yes, you still need to boost monthly to restore the factory tuning that made it play great to begin with.

    • @morhafs440

      Mantra is not meant to be for professional players. It's rather for intermediate players.
      For spin I'd go for EL-P or FX-P.

    • @WorthlessGeek

      W6 is a thin, flexy 5-ply looping blade. More flexible than blades like Offensive S and Korbel. Thin Anigre outer plies chip easily. Nice as a "first looping blade," but eventually you might want something with a higher quality.

    • @WorthlessGeek
      @WorthlessGeek 7 років тому

      It's a premade, so no real use in reviewing it. It doesn't really matter what wood or rubber is used on premades because 99% of premades use very low quality materials. Premades are money pits, especially expensive ones, because you can buy equipment for the same price and have the quality be much, much higher than it would be on a premade.
