And Valentina is an international treasure. But Santos gave her a very tough fight and deserves a rematch. But yes, I’d love to see the Bullet fight Zhang or Fiorot next.

Apart from that she controlled Valentinas back for the majority of the fight. She was much more imposing and stronger on the ground. Sure she didn’t attempt many submission attempts or dish out damage, but neither did Aljamain, yet he beat Yan on points due to ground control. Judging was extremely bullshit, every MMA fan or analyst with half a braincell thought Santos won. Clearly you don’t even have half a braincell 🤣🤣🤣

Shevchenko won comfortably in the last fight, over 100 extra strikes, equal takedowns, much, much more damage even before the accidental headbutt. The one giving smoke was Valentina, the only thing Santos had was control time, which didn't mean a lot when Valentina was landing 20+ punches snapping her head back as it was happening.
Doesnt change the fact she ended 4 out of 5 rounds controlled on the ground.

Control doesn't win fights, this is what casual dummies like you who are crying and cope about Talia loss don't understand.. Talia forgot she is not in a BJJ competition, you actually have to apply damage to make your takedown count.. Valentina was punching her from her back nonstop, Talia was trying to submit her for two round stright and couldn't do it.. on the feet Valentina obliterated her all the way, so.. tell me casual, how did Talia actually won the fight? Yes Shev won, but not comfortably. Santos threatening RNC multiple times counts heavy, more than the X amount of little punches from Val from bottom. That's why Santos won 2/5 rds (Shev also mainly won Rd 2 because of her own sub attempt, so we shouldnt overlook them)

From 3:35 to 4:45 Valentina is being brutally honest. Saying that Santos has to put together a resume. And all the improvements that Zhang has made will be for nought if they get in the octagon. She is so cut and dry with her views of her opponents. And it's doesn't come off as arrogant. Just matter of fact.

I disagree. That fight was close and Santos was doing extremely well. The headbutt was what caused major damage, not Shevchenko's strikes. Rewatch that fight, without the headbutt that was a rough one for the champ
I disagree... the "resume" was put together when Santos kept reversing the takedowns and almost won the fight. That was very close, and I think Valentina wants to avoid that woman. (at least until she can disect the errors, and mprove in the areas Santos was exploiting.) Santos doesn't need to improve in this scenario... Valentina does. (and I am a HUGE fan of The Bullet) But that is the truth.
@@d0meh1t I recently watched that fight and you're absolutely right. Santos was doing very well. I was impressed. That headbutt took her out. Her vision was impaired. It changed the course of the fight. Santos is one to check for. Her skill set and cardio display her gifts well.

Valentina is definitely not ducking Santos. It’s business and protocol that must be considered as well. Show the champ some respect. Santos claimed that she found Valentina’s weakness on the ground but still couldn’t win the fight as the bigger woman with two days of hydration. Santos had her chance several times in the fight to submit Valentina and they were nullified every time by Valentina’s defense. Other than that, Valentina pieced her up on the feet and on the ground with legitimate hard strikes all night. No case for Santos in the striking department the whole fight. How in the world you all believe she won the fight or deserves an immediate rematch. She lost the fight and it wasn’t even close like many believed. The champ shut her ground game down and she had nothing else working for her in the fight. That’s the reality. Santos has to work herself back up the latter like the champ said. Bottom line.
