I showed my family and friends my air rifle collection this Thanksgiving, and they were so surprised by how air rifles look nowadays. Its so awesome to show people new things and im glad I got into the airgun world while its young.
@@gboutdoors5198 absolutely!! The air rifle game has advanced so far in so little time. Forever we were stuck with Red Ryders and 10 pumps. Nothing wrong with that, but now adays there are SO many options out there, that there really is a rifle for everyone. Its also kinda funny to be known as "the guy with all the awesome airguns". You have earned that badge likely. Hahaha welcome to the club! Have a great weekend homie.
@@renterp I'm so happy PCP air rifles were invented! My dad likes to brag to his friends about my air rifles and how I hit a can at 250 yards with an airrifle. I think I'm pretty known as the "gun nut" lol. Have a great weekend too!
That thing is a beast, I really dont think it minds any pellet out of what you showed. Awesome setup by the way only have 13 yards myself. Always great hanging out family, next outro lets see you on the drums? Cheers!
@@Indiana424 hahahaha thanks Hank. Picked the drums up a few months ago for the kids. Tho I dont mind releasing some frustration on the old crash cymbal. Hahaha. I completely agree on the Armada tho. It absolutely represents. Also all of the ammo I tested did great. It seems kinda funny to knit pick a favorite when any one of them will shoot beer cans and critters all day. Hahaha thanks again Hank, have a great weekend!!
Good job john. I might have missed it, but it must be cold there? We've already had 4 different days of snow. The high today was 25 degrees the low will be 16. I hate the winter! Glad I'm retired so I don't have to work in it anymore. Have a great weekend Bud.
@@Moses1973 thank you! Yeah the last week or so the temps have been in the 20's. Its been snowing off and on since last weekend. We got about 5 inches on the ground right now. All my shooting has moved inside. Im still baiting the mice at the 20 yard pile, and ive had one come in at 2:30 in the morning the last few days. If he stops by before midnight ima give him the ole seasons greetings. ;) if we get a day in the 30's tho, ima try to get back outside for some 50 yard testing with these 3 most accurate pellets. I just got my order of 22.07's in tonight so im road ready. Thanks again and stay warm. Have a great weekend yourself!
@@johnnybbgunner2136 yeah ive had incredible luck with the Armada. For not being regulated it shoots like a regulated rifle. Certainly its consistency has something to do with its accuracy. I know down range it absolutely makes a difference. Have a great weekend Johnny!
Great stuff. Damn that Armada has consistent. Is it Regulated? You nailed it. We will have to see if 4g more weight helps in the wind? Also if the 4g kills the speed causing to big a drop at 94y?
@@gmanneod8085 I was surprised how consistent the Armada was too. Over 40 shots it only had a 10 fps extreme spread. Its not regulated either. I dont know if I got lucky with the tune I gave it, or what. I was also surprised that the 18.13 gr JSB's were shooting 5-10 FPS faster than the 18 grain Air Arms. Maybe head size?? Maybe the 18.13's seal in the barrel tighter? I dunno, but the Air Arms seemed to shoot slightly more accurate. My next plan is to test the 18.13's, the AA 18's, and the JTS 22.07's all in one video with chrony numbers as well. Im waiting on those 22.07's to come in for that tho. But yeah, the Armada was shooting so damn smooth and consistent that it damn near outperforms the regulated Notos. But again, surely the tune its got has something to do with it. Its a fantastic rifle thats for sure. Thanks again Gman. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Have a great weekend.
@@johnnybbgunner2136 man i hear that. I get these ideas that sound good in my head, and on paper. Spend forever and a day setting it all up, only for it to shit the bed when the camera starts. Par for the course. O well, drink beer and drive on! Lol hahaha.
