Thanks for this Jason. Yesterday’s session found me frantically moving the mike (Rode Ntk) around to minimize key clacking, particularly as I was multitracking oboes 1.2.3. Your player’s instrument didn’t have that issue. Agree about the background music. Thanks.

Really useful advice - but why do we need the background music?
Do you have to worry about reflections from the music stand at all, or is it not that crucial in this application?
