- Specifically it was always my plan to bring one of the most powerful sorcerers in all of MK onto my channel around this time. Quan Chi is definitely a very interesting and dark character. His witch craft warlock abilities and his tendency of resurrecting the fallen into revenants. It does become well lined up knowing that he is in truth the real murder of Scorpions family & clan. I have definitely enjoyed many of his versions and even though I kinda think it is a shame that Ronald M Banks did not return as the voice actor for the character in MK1, I still think Sean T Krishnan was also a really good voice for the character. And even for a video game, the acting of the scenes of him was amazingly well done. I even wondered what he would have looked like in MK11 and to see what his intros would be like with some certain characters like Shao Kahn, Cetrion, or Shinnok (if Shinnok did become a playable character). I will say I am honestly looking forward to him showing up in the next MK movie and see what his role will be in the film. What I am theorizing is that he perhaps sent Bi Han to kill Scorpions family & the Shir Rai Ryu. I mean we always know that Quan Chi framed Sub Zero and he is in truth responsible for why Scorpions clan, wife, and child were all massacred but this time in the first movie it was actually Sub Zero himself that really did it. And maybe Quan Chi is responsible because he did send Sub Zero to do it, which is why supposedly he resurrected Bi Han into Noob Saibot since we all know that Joe Taslim who is the actor who played Sub Zero in the first film is returning as the character again in the sequel but as Noob Saibot. Plus, Quan Chi did resurrect Bi Han into Noob Saibot after he was murdered by Sub Zero. Anyway, without trying to get too side tracked I just felt like sharing these thoughts of mine.

Quan Chi is without a doubt one of the best villains in MK, from the first timeline you could see how calculating and evil he was, in the second timeline he seemed like another servant of Shao Kahn until he took over the souls of the warriors of Earth and had a lethal army. Although having his own slaves and shinnok as a master did not save him from dying at the hands of his deadliest weapon, scorpion, and now in the Third Timeline, despite having a different origin, he is still an evil sorcerer who always shows his ambition and manipulation and I really hope that Futuro has more prominence like Shan Tsung. Dsturbed's music will always go well with villains, great job!
Thank you! And everything you said makes so much perfect sense of Quan Chis evolutionary history throughout the MK lore. In his most recent appearances he often has played a crucial role as one of the side antagonists even if he hasn’t always been one of the “bosses”.

Well Quan Chi a villain that I do personally find enjoyable and awesome I do think he is a very soild villain from his abilities and personality and his fatality from mkx mk9 and now Mk1 are really amazing. I like the follow and all the scenes selection it fits wonderful and loved the ending aswell keep up all the wonderful work
Thank you as always! Yes the NRS versions of him are the best. I thought he was the most well done in MK1, and I liked the voice actor a lot in that game. I am also looking forward to seeing him appear in the next movie.

Very cool tribute! I love Quan Chi and he is one of my favorite MK villains. I also like this song Disturbed, but for some reason I didn’t think that it would fit so well with Quan Chi.

Oh my God this is the curse by Disturbed it's one of my favorite songs of all time and it pays tribute to Quan chi from mortal Kombat because it's so hardcore right now it makes me want to break the curse of my fears nightmares and inner demons even if it means facing all of them at once

Yeah I actually realized that. It was definitely due to the fact that he isn’t a playable character and you never even get to fight him. My bad.

Please make a tribute to liu kang from legacy he is a villain in that version with a breaking benjamim song.
Sorry but I don’t make tributes to only one version. And plus, Liu Kang has always been labeled as a hero. Even if he’s been in a villain in one or two things, I won’t do that because I only make videos to villains.
