You see that part where you say you don't have a problem with it, that's a problem. Retro drive would still point out the faults in any car no matter the class. Cause I do feel a professional auto journalist like you no matter how much you love the car you show be able to point out the faults point blank. Cause pointing out these problems in terms of aesthetics, mechanical specification, utility/ functionality, pricing, performance and many more can even send out messages to the company for them to know where to work on and improve for future models coming from them.

Is the 1.6T not indicating 1.6 liter turbo charged? Where did the 2.7 liter displacement you mentioned come from? Also did you say the car does 7l/100km in the city and 9l/100km highway? Did you mix this up? It is supposed to be the other way around. What is the combined figure? 62MPH is = 100km/h! You did 0 - 60km/h, NOT 0 - 60 MPH!!!! It is obvious that you are just getting started, and you are passionate about what you do, but it is important to do your homework properly, may be write a script for yourself and REHEARSE before you start. Did you say it has an NCAP rating of 5? Where is the evidence?

Africa has far harsher roads than China. They may be remanufacturing similar car but a lot of extra modifications are made to the African variants to make them suitable for African traffic. So these cars, although Chinese derived, are truly African.

I hope you can handle it. If you push me, I will name the Chinese variant/origin of every single Innoson model. And NO, they do not make any parts here. If Innoson claims to make 70% of his parts, ...then pray me, where is he pressing the body panels?? Where is the mould?? Where is he forging the chassis components? And if it's about fuel economy a Toyota RAV4 would do as low as 6.7-8.8 litres per 100km depending on highway, city or travel conditions. While this is doing 7.9 all the way to 10 litres. I'm pretty sure I don't need to point out which is obviously more fuel efficient and even so less pollutive.
This car was made to be more durable for Africa roads. The same way you have American spec is the same way this is Africa spec. In Africa we have very rough roads so the suspension and many other things were made to be more strong and have more weight than the cars made in USA so with extra weight it will consume a little more fuel.
If we want to really know what the suspension systems are like shouldn't we be driving it on a challenging roads, cause after all majority of the roads in this part of the world are challenging?

Nice review. You actually used the wrong parameters for the speed test. The 0 - 60 speed test is actually in the mph (equivalent to 0 - 100km/hr). Since we use the metric system in Nigeria, your speed test ought to have been done using 0 - 100km/hr.

PAN was a full scale CKD assembly plant. Innoson only assembles semi-knocked down parts - a much easier and smaller scale feat. You wanna hear the truth?? There is the truth. I hope you can handle it. If you push me, I will name the Chinese variant/origin of every single Innoson model. And NO, they do not make any parts here. If you insist they do, then name the part and point out the manufacturing location. You guys really need to learn how an industry works before you start arguing. If Innoson claims to make 70% of his parts, ...then pray me, where is he pressing the body panels?? Where is the mould?? Where is he forging the chassis components? Where is the location of the factory for these? Some of the claims being made is laughable? The car industry requires an extensive support and component manufacturing industry - something that is lacking here in Nigeria. Heck, we do not even make tyres or batteries anymore! This are the facts!

And if it's about fuel economy a Toyota RAV4 would do as low as 6.7-8.8 litres per 100km depending on highway, city or travel conditions. While this is doing 7.9 all the way to 10 litres. I'm pretty sure I don't need to point out which is obviously more fuel efficient and even so less pollutive.
This car was made to be more durable for Africa roads. The same way you have American spec is the same way this is Africa spec. In Africa we have very rough roads so the suspension and many other things were made to be more strong and have more weight than the cars made in USA so with extra weight it will consume a little more fuel.

Nice review. You actually used the wrong parameters for the speed test. The 0 - 60 speed test is actually in the mph (equivalent to 0 - 100km/hr). Since we use the metric system in Nigeria, your speed test ought to have been done using 0 - 100km/hr.
