Your videos have motivated me to start saving up to ultimately pull the trigger on finally getting a printer ❤
I've just bought a 3D printer and I am so unbelievably excited to print this. I'm planning to paint it in the tribal design to match my SP
Im glad to hear! Congrats on the new printer! I designed a handheld angled switch mount in another video if you wanted to check that out in the future and print it after this one
Ayy you use solidworks like me lol, good stuff man
Hi my name is Tony and I had the same idea as you! To 3D print a gba case for my switch. I’ve been looking through UA-cam for a good hour to see if anyone has done it and seeing your design and work made me happy. I definlty plan to take some time to study the rest of your channel and work. Thank you so much for sharing the files!
You should make a hole for the powerbank for charging the switch. And then a thing that you can pull down and it has a little circle place at the bottom for the charger to go through, and when the powerbank's battery is dead then you can just pull it up and take it out. It would be nice.
I came here from reddit after seeing your Steam Deck. I have a feeling you're going to do very well on youtube in the future. Keep up the good work man.
This is really cool!
Thank you so much for the nice video and it is a awesome desgin thanks to you i got intrested in 3D Printing and will buy soon an Ender 3
@@CASSDesigns as far as i saw it looks like alot of fun i already have things hat i ant to print :)
Currently building one of these right now, this is my first big 3d printer project since I got mine last month :3 May I ask though where can I find the usb-c hub you used for this?
Dude that is awesome!! I was just thinking that if you are interested in the idea, you could maybe try a game boy micro design w/ charger port space for an iPhone or Samsung ! If you sell regularly you could make em for multiple phone models. The stand might be a slight design puzzle 🤷🏻♂️
Would be so cool if you could use the buttons on top. Like have extensions to press the joy con buttons and joysticks too. So you could really play it like a big Gameboy and hold it.
Very cool. Thank you for sharing.
Pretty cool lovetge look, what is that dongle that you used?
Here’s the exact one I bought: www.amazon.com/dp/B07JK9DFKH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Any idea when you'll be posting the file to Thingiverse? It's still not available.
Hey! I'm looking into selling the STL files and am looking into the legality of selling the STLs for this. I also have to make a few tweaks that I have not yet made - I'd say hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll either have them up for free or for sale. I'll reply to this comment when the files are up
I think this will be improved if the buttons work and there are intake holes at the back to prevent overheating.
good vid will print
Definitely a cool design, though while i get the point was to make is resemble a gba sp esthetically, i think it would have been cooler if either a it had a integrated holder to where you could turn the joycons into the actual button allowing it to be an actual functional giant GBA SP or b have had an optional button panel that could be swapped out, that way you could keep the esthetic part when wanting to just dock your switch, and then can swap it if you wanted it to be handheld
This is awesome I want to buy one for my Switch 👀🎮
With the Bmo dock why dont you have it standing up with bendy legs so it can be angled?
Love all your works btw
Thanks! That is definitely an option, make some way for the legs to be adjustable
Very cool. I think it would be nice if there are holes for airflow at the back of the switch.
Wonder how difficult it'd be to make a usable switch grip for handheld play modeled off the og gameboy advanced as thats the handheld i grew up with.
Hey do you think this would work on a Ender 3? Because I would love to print this awsome masterpiece.
This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Would you mind linking the USB C adapter you have there, please? 🥰
Here’s the one I used: www.amazon.com/dp/B07JK9DFKH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thanks for watching!
is there any chance to get the blueprints for this? I absolutely loved it
There’s a Thingiverse link in the video description with the 3D files to print it yourself! Thanks for watching!
Is there any chance you sell these? I really want one in red! Xx
Sorry! Unfortunately I don’t sell these due to it potentially being an intellectual property issue. I don’t believe it is since it’s a design inspired by Nintendo’s product with no similar functionality, but to be safe I’m not selling any
Got the model link?
I’m going to upload the files in a few days on my thingiverse, the links in the description. I have a few adjustments I’m gonna make before uploading them so it’s going to be a little bit. Check back later!
what scale size did you print with
25.4 millimeters per inch, and it exported in inches but the slicer imports it in mm, just so you understand why
try to make the game boy buttons work when gaming
Thats cool ima follow you on tick tock
is this available to buy?
Hey just wondering what's you're rules on selling these? I'm not gonna sell them unless I have you're permission to do so.
I don’t know how to 3D print. I’ve never owned one before, can anyone give tips on this subject? Will this work on a oled switch?
Where can we buy these?!
What's the model of USB c hub?
Here’s the one I used: www.amazon.com/dp/B07JK9DFKH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
How much for one of these ?
Where can you buy it 💳💥💳💥💳💥💳💥💳💥
How much to sell one of these.
I thought it's the normal size sp.
iN uLTIMATE CURA, SCALE FOR 10.000 AUTOMATIC, WHAT HAPPENS? WHIT STL FILES?
THANKS
Scale it to 2540% - it exported my STLs into millimeters but I modeled it in inches so the files need to be 25.4 times larger
I want to buy one omg
Now make one for the dsi and make it so you can have two switch’s in for multiplayer
I love this design I have a few ideas that could make this a little better. If you would be interested PM me I would make this myself but I don't have a 3d printer or know how to use one.
I NEED IT TAKE MY MONEY!
*no srsly*
Sell that on Etsy!!!
I'd love to but nintendo goes crazy on small creators for copyrights and I feel like this looking like a GBA SP is fair game for them
@@CASSDesigns I'm not so sure; loads of people have made 3D printed GameCube, Switch and Wii products?
Ryan Reynolds: Buy why?
This is one of the most beautiful 3D Printable designs I've seen in a long time. Well, well, well done, sir!!!
Thank you!
@@CASSDesigns love the switch sp. Where can I get one from plz / buy
@@CASSDesigns hey I was wondering if my FLsun super racer 3d printers bed be big enough to bring this?
@@josequarvo2757 yes, that has a 260 mm diameter x 330 mm height build volume, my printer is 220 x 220 x 250 mm so you should be good!
@@CASSDesigns awesome! Also you did a fucking amazing job with this build and the bmo
