The British Guillotine - History's Most BRUTAL Execution Method?

One of the most ruthless execution methods used throughout History was the guillotine. It was this device which took the heads off King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. But they were not new machines as in Britain there were two guillotines that date back centuries before known as 'The Halifax Gibbet,' and the 'Scottish Maiden.' These were similar to the guillotine, however had a number of differences.
