its mainly the mixer that is doing all the effects... aswell as the dj, knowing all the effetcs and using them correctly... he's only using the cdj's to sync the beats together and from one to the other etc..... as long as youve got the musical (dj) tallent in you, you can make a good mix from anything!
Owkey, so (I'm trying to understand, btw, I'm the same person as musicboyxiii) when you move your fader that fast is to make sure one perticular sound won't come true, right? And on the right side are the effects (maybe flanger or something) The only thing I don't get is what you're doing on the left hand side (on the DJM-700 is that part for phones, but i'm not sure what it does on the DJM-400 (wich I think you're using)) Anyway, thanks for you're very fast respond!
Very smooth mix, keep it original and don't buy the pioneer mk3 1000's i have one, and it just doesn't do what i want it to do, so i am buying 2 pioneer cdj 400's
