But we can't use the treadmill, weights, machines and other equpiment. So the citizen joins the gym so that he can get a fit body(build himself) but.. when he tries to use the equipment.. he's gotta PAY EXTRA for the treadmill! So he decides to pay extra even though he had to use his savings on it because he thinks that its gonna be worth it. I work for a Telecom operator but i am supporting Net Neutrality. That said, i can see where Telecom operators are coming from. 1. The cost of setting up, expand & maintain towers & provide coverage, especially PAN India; is really really expensive. 2. As technologies move forward from 2G->3G->4G->Wifi assisted network, the cost of replacing or upgrading become even higher. 3. The amount spent to secure frequencies in Auctions are ridiculous. 4. Margins a) Margins on domestic calls are low due to low tariff (50p/min is convenient for consumers, not so much for operators). b) Margins have been slashed recently on Interational call terminations(India Inbound) from 40p to 53p, which is not idle given the recent trend of calling through VoIP. c) SMS termination has fallen drastically due to messaging services. d) As mentioned before voice calling is also reducing due to VoIP calling and with Whatsapp releasing whatsapp calling, it won't be long before both SMS & Voice will reduce from revenue stream for Telecom operators. Let me! The 1st question being vague as fuck, doesn't deserve to be answered! If someone asks you, ma'am, may I hit you with my fist or a club, how do you answer that? Though if you still want it answered do as many have done! Don't follow the question, forge your own answer! Thank you for your time!
I have supported all of your work, including AIB Roast. Long as you & today's generation is doing something & standing on your feet, which ever way. I support you. Least you not wasting your time in drugs and crime. You have full support from everyone. Michigan, USA. Best wishes to you guys.
No.......Not in India too. I've keenly been watching people in US fight for this and they won but does India gives a shit for internet? We have to prove it does.
All India Bakchod I really appreciate you guys for taking the initiative in spreading the awareness and literally showing the middle finger to the orgs and telcos looking to make big bucks off a country where the Prime Minister's Office has a slower internet connection than the average American citizen...!!! Telcos should instead focus on speedier internet that'll increase their revenue by increased data usage. Thank you once again for spreading the right message.
AIB sounds such a school dropout uploading their video. Firstly, visibly they find law term uploaded by the TRAI on their website awkward and are seen making mockery of the legal term. The title of the consultation papers has to be chosen keeping in mind the legality aspect. If you ever open any law you will easily find way more tongue twisters. Secondly, extending it this initiative by TRAI is an consultation paper which can only be brought into life by respecting the other laws of the land. Competition Act 2002 under section 19(3) (1) "gives the powers to the Competition Commission of India to consider all or any of the factors while determining weather an agreement has an appreciable adverse affect on competition". So if ever brought into life it can stand void under the Competition Act, 2002. I am not a law student, but yes I am rationale being blessed with a power to question back ! Answer us AIB !
Hey you guys are bringing one of the best topics in front of the pubic.many of the people were not even aware about net neutrality. You guys are doing your best. And bring such many more thing that will be helpful for all of us!!
thank you aib for taking the initiative. atleast someone is there who cares about the youth as well as those people who want to study new things once again thank you
If a telephone company says I need a cut of he profit you just made on a business deal using OUR phones would you agree to pay the cut?? The infrastructure providers job is to simply well provide services. They cannot charge you for how you use that infrastructure, period
thetruereality In US (and in future, in India), more people use Whatsapp and Skype to message and make calls. These company get money through advertising or through consumers directly. Telcos are losing business as they offer same service, but they have to deal with paying for licenses, creating infratructure, providing quality service, customer service. If you view Telcos just as internet service provider, then consider this - youtube videos require something like 4 to 10 mega bytes per second to play smoothly. The bandwidth available is limited. Telcos have to work on infrastructure, pay licenses, etc. So why not ask people who use youtube heavily to get special pack by paying extra so that basic users who just use it to browse are not burdened by it?? All this have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with NetNeutrality.
dappostamin Good point here, I understand that telecom companies need to establish a better infrastructure for the services like youtube and whats app to work properly and in return the telecom companies dont get anything monetarily. However as a consumer it bothers me that I have to pay differently for different data I download. I'd be much satisfied if i was given a specific bandwidth as per my plan and I could use that bandwidth as i want. Indian telecom companies are in the name of better QoS trying to officially charge extra for something I was getting already, that's the problem. My point is let the consumers decide. If they want to use the additional facility that the telcos are offering then let them go ahead and pay if they want thats fine as long as it is regulated
Guys this is an amazing initiative started by AIB. I have already sent an email. India is an highly populated country and a lot of people have access to internet. But i did some little search and came to know that net neutrality is not a common issue there are so many people who don't know about it. So i think we all should make it a more broad initiative.
Guys I really appreciate your initiative not because u put a stand for but also to give a clear idea of NET Neutrality. I actually had a debate with my friends but they were so misunderstood with this concept and were so dumb over this debate that i literally laughed at them.

Done my bit by mailing to MP also..
Glad that I am one of the million users who could help in #savetheinternet

I tried sending the pre formed response and went through it before I sent it.. It was incomplete.. In fact even the 1st ques wasnt answered. Please rectify this error so that we can do our part..
Great job with creating awareness about this (y)
Rashee Gupta hawwww kitni badi problem hogayiiii...despicable ,imagine if had to go through all that just to get redirected to ur channel ;-)

I want you guys to teach me all my lessons at school. I'm never gonna find anything boring ever again.
Net Neutrality: People loses their mind..
Farmers dying: No One bats an eye :)
iphonewarga People aren't still losing their mind on Net Neutrality on their own.. Perhaps they should -_- :3
iphonewarga I agree..but it is very much possible that if we lose net neutrality, we won't even get the news about farmers dying..
Really stupid comparison.
Farmers are fighting for what rights to them
African kids could've eaten those farmers...xD
So what are you doing. Commenting on UA-cam?
You #JohnOliver-ed the shit out of this issue, but glad that you did cause TSPs shouldn't get away with this.
Thank You guys so much.
एयरटेल हमेशा से ऐसी ही रही है। पहले स्मार्ट फिर जियो की वजह से ये थोड़ा सुधरा। फिर भी लोग जियो का विरोध करते हैं। हंसी आती है।

I fear this email sending business might be too subtle for TRAI. Is there a way to crash their website?
Apar Prasad yes DDos them :P
Sri Harsha Gangisetty It's a govt. site.. Get like 1000 people to log in simultaneously and the site will automatically crash :P
lol that's totally true Ddosing them is waste of time
Sri Harsha Gangisetty . Cmon ddos them.. Let's see if they are better then joister.... Just ddos them..
No don't DDoS them! That's just giving them another reason to ignore the e-mails -.-
I have done it and thinking every other people should do it. Thanks being indian for this information
If they had just said "Porn nahi dekh paoge!!" then there would have been country wide protests
Here we are, once again dealing with this shit
John Oliver would be proud :)
Hey you guys are bringing one of the best topics in front of the pubic.many of the people were not even aware about net neutrality.
You guys are doing your best.
And bring such many more thing that will be helpful for all of us!!

Save the Internet!
I did my bit... Do urs nowww!!!
If they want to use the additional facility that the telcos are offering then let them go ahead and pay if they want thats fine as long as it is regulated
thetruereality so by your logic municipality should charge us for every tab we you.
Guys this is an amazing initiative started by AIB. I have already sent an email.
India is an highly populated country and a lot of people have access to internet. But i did some little search and came to know that net neutrality is not a common issue there are so many people who don't know about it. So i think we all should make it a more broad initiative.
✌👍👍
Just an update from 2021 every telecom operator is fucked up after the revolution of Jio🥳😁
Kudos to AIB , Guys its through your set I became aware of the issue and sent the petition to TRAI, WELL DONE & KEEP IT UP
