I'm glad I learned cursive when I was in kindergarten. I'm in my freshman year now, I still use cursive and whenever people see me write, they always get this certain look on their face. it's like they're trying to decipher what it says but since they had never seen it before they always get confused. I'm glad I can still write in cursive.
I would absolutely love another cursive writing video, without gum. I love your voice and your videos are wonderful, but I do not enjoy chewing.. Thank you for your videos, they are some of my favorites. 💙
I'd be glad to do one! I have misophonia and can't stand the sound of gum chewing, so when I make these videos (or any videos with chewing sounds), I never go back and watch them or listen to them. I can't STAND that sound! But yeah, I'd love to do one of these without the gum! Thanks! I'll get to it as soon as I can. :)
Love this video. Your hand movements, gentle voice, and the gum chewing = major ASMR tingles. Thank you. Would you consider making a similar video "lesson" using a dry-erase board and eraser?! Might be just as awesome! Just a thought... thanks again for all your time and hard work...you help me sleep! P.S. I love Lavergne! :)
Lately I've been looking through sites for penmanship and have been introduced to the wonderful varieties and styles and techniques. It's so satisfying to be able to write legibly and quickly using a fountain pen to good quality paper. I bet kids would benefit so much from cursive and penmanship lessons in a shorthand course. Although these days swerving your finger across a screen generates sentences so much quicker than anyone could have imagined.
In my contry we still learn cursive in school and I never realised that, sometimes, I will just get out of the computer and start writting something in cursive just for the sake of it
I wish I still remembered cursive. I think my generation (I'm 20) was the last to even be taught. I learned in 3rd grade. The only letters I use anymore are the capital S and capital A, for signing my name.

Great job amazing video, very nice with the sound of gum ;) Plz I have a request, you can make a video close up repeat words + chewing gum ? I like your voice ;)
I like the sound of that! I've been thinking about doing a video where I read a school lunch menu. It's not quite the same as repeating the same word(s) over and over again, but it might have a similar effect. What do you think?
"I had trouble with the D when I was a kid"-SouthernASMR Sounds 2015
LMAO!!! XD XD I'm sorry I had 2
I was taught handwriting and cursive in Catholic school. Now as a teacher I'm forced to write in print because my students "can't understand cursive."
LordAlucardsbride I was always disappointed they never taught it in the classroom.
Wouldn’t a teacher use proper grammar..?
Immortan-Valkyrie90 that is the saddest thing ever .. I’ve taught my son ... even this it’s not taught ... This is America

Unless someone else needs to read it, I always write in cursive. It's just so much more comfortable to me!

dafl00 I use cursive and it helps me study and remember things better. I wish it was still being taught in schools.

My school taught cursive but then switched to print cause its easier to grade, and as a result, it caused everyone to have poor print and poor cursive
Yeah what polocupp said
I am 26 and I learned cursive! I absolutely loved it and wish they still taught it. :/
My cursive looks like a doctor's handwriting lol...
It’s very sad that this skill is totally forgotten! We learned in second grade, and after third grade it was like no one even heard of cursive!!
Boy you sound like you're from Georgia too! I have a thick accent too according to my friends haha
"like a serial killer wrote it" 🤣🤣🤣
