Very informative, can't wait to play!
i will keeping watching your progress, this looks awesome!
Thank you so much my dude!
Really looking forward to this game. My first thought when playing the Dead Space remake was "this would be cool in VR."
Thank you so much, man! Keep in mind that this will be a little more survival horror and stealth, and a bit less action. It's not inspired by dead space, only. Still, there will definitely be action segments, and I hope you'll like it!
@@Jackdufon-sd4on That sounds even better, honestly. I have a lot of love for old school survival horror that focuses on resource management. Resident Evil is one of my favorite franchise, for instance.
Is it possible to Wishlist this game yet?
Soon man. If it's not a problem for you I will reanswer your comment with the steam page once it becomes public
this is coming nicely together
i would recommend you give this video a watch since you picked a realistic style for your game
it's titled ( I Rebuilt My Game Engine To Optimise This Properly )
and it's by @Vercidium
don't know if the tips can work with unreal or not i am not that expert but thought i would try to help because he has some tips on reducing draw calls etc
Thank you very very much, I will definitely give it a watch
Okay, so, the video is amazing, sadly most of the things he does are things that are only useful if you are coding a voxel graphic engine basically from scratch, and not really applicable on a high level, standard mesh based unreal workflow. Luckily, many similar optimizations are already performed by ue4
glad you liked the video was hoping some of the tips would help as i am not that expert in game engines and was trying to help in someway lol @@Jackdufon-sd4on
