Nobody will ever let you know
When you ask the reasons why
They just tell you that you're on your own
Fill your head all full of lies
You bastards!!!!
Black Sabbath Sums up our politicians today.
Yes this is true
I love u dad
In my Top 3 by Black Sabbath! Amazing song ;)
43 years have passed, and this riff still kicks so many asses
Just a pity so many virgins had to be sacrificed to Satan for this song!

50 YEARS OLD!!!
The main riif is a copy. Rip off from a brazilian female singer called Vanusa. The song is called "What to do".
@@wellingtonaraujo9824 This riff is seen also on John Entwistle, My Size too, before Vanusa.
I'm 60. I've been listening to sabbath since I was 16. Never gets old. The originators of metal
I first heard Iron Man on a k-tel album when I was really young then got WE SOLD OUR SOULS FOR ROCK AND ROLL. at about 13...I am almost 61...listen almost every day to something by SABBATH...😊

This is my favorite Sabbath song. For me they're the single most important band in heavy metal history.
Of course my friend, they are legendary as well
BlackSketchyThing they created heavy metal, I watched a documentary, ozzy talking abut how he respet beatles. Amazing.
BlackSketchyThing don't forget about Judas Priest :)
or iron maiden, i see black sabbath, judas priest and iron maiden as the founders of heavy metal, atleast the classic metal, deep purple isnt really metal even though many argue that they are
Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motörhead and Judas Priest are the big 4 of heavy metal

Still gives me shivers. Never gets old.

This is the only song I know that my dad loved. He passed away 2008. I miss him so much and will always wish I could’ve been more connected to him (I was 7 when he passed) but this song always brings me comfort knowing it also helped him in hard times 💕 please appreciate the people you have around now 💕
You couldn't be more right about that. The people who are important to you in your life, love them, cherish them, appreciate them every day they're with you. Sabbath are more than gods. They are the "Creators". One single band formed a genre which then spawned into countless other sub-genres. Imo, in my world they are the greatest, my Beatles. I would hate to think of what the world would be like if Tony, Geezer, Bill & Ozzy never got together. We as metal heads can never be thankful enough for these blokes. Even after the mighty Black Sabbath r gone, they will forever live on. Thank you Sabbath.
You can not imagine jow many times i say it even for modern music man if it weren't for Sabbath
Amen!
Your shit is redundant.
Get that verbal diarrhea out ya putz
Shoutouts to black sabbath but youre completely wrong tbh, without people like Muddy waters and Lead Belly and etc. Bands like the Rolling Stones and then literally Black Sabbath would never be here to this day, sabbath had even recognized and payed homage before publicly, same with the Stones. im not coming from a place of hatred. But if you really want to understand how this sound even originated, pay respects to the real OGs that are true pioneers of the Rock genre.
@@shorenotchia3389 Iommi himself even says they considered themselves hard rock, not heavy metal, and the debut album is FULL of blues influence - see The Wizard.

Tehe best guitar solo in the history of metal!!!!AGUANTE TOMMY!!!!!!
You can’t open and close an album quite as legendarily as Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. From the opening riff to the finale of Spiral Architect, the whole thing is just a classic. Honestly, I rank it as number one in their discography, but it’s so difficult to choose between any of the first six. Great stuff from a legendary band.
Definitely their best song writing. They were best before Ozzy's drinking made him crazy and unpredictable.
Me too. I think it’s their masterpiece 😊

100 years after this legendary band is gone, somewhere, someone will be cranking this tune at full volume. Long live black sabbath!!
The band that invented metal. Fresh out of school at sixteen, I thought Iommi was the only game in town back in '73. He is, in my opinion, the most influential lead guitarist ever. Sabbath's sound is still fantastic on the ears.
Absolutely agree
You are damn right my friend

And he did it with three finger tips
@@lostone777 Yes….his biggest regret, but that lost tip, arguably, was what gave him that playing style.
Black Sabbath for life.
There is a few things that make me feel so proud to be English, and Black Sabbath is one of them 🇬🇧💜
The other one is Liverpool F.C.
God bless UK 🇬🇧 from a 🇲🇽🇺🇲 Mexican American 🙏🏻
The song is about Bloody Sunday, the second massacre of Irish citizens by the British army within 6 months in 1972, for which the British government has tried no one, convicted no one. The very, very, very last thing this song should do is make anyone proud to be English.
There's still english in england? It appears to have become a middle eastern nation 🤔
@@mattwa33186 He didn’t say the song made him feel proud to be English, he said Black Sabbath did.
Heard this band for the first time
In the 80’s or late 70’s once or twice and didn’t even take notice.
Now I’m 54 and recovering from an injury and have just discovered them. Have been reading reviews, history and interviewed. But most of all I’m going through all the albums one by one and finding so many hidden gems.

Started seriously listening to Sabbath at 20, riding around in an old dump truck every day for a summer with a broken radio where the am/fm didn't pick up ...and one tape literally STUCK in there= Black Sabbath's greatest hits.
All day, every day, we got fucked up and worked like dogs, throwing construction debris in the dump truck to this soundtrack.
Salute to Sabbath!

I was 15 years old when this came out. Bought the album and was blown away. I'm 61 now. Just rediscovering Sabbath, hearing songs again for the first time. Pure magic. The first 5 LP's are my favorite. They all sound as good today if not better, than when they all came out decades ago.

Almost 51 years ago and this still strong, better y so many heavy metal here.
Why not? Those years was beatiful with his songs and cars like Ford, chevrolet and Cadillacs.
the style of the Black Sabbath clips pleases me perfectly
Love Ozzy's voice
he had such a unique passionate voice
Yeah, too bad he fucked it up so bad that he couldn't even sing some Sabbath songs by the end. You can even hear that his voice is damaged compared to Paranoid
@gaffer2602 His voice wasn't damaged yet at this point lol. This album and Sabotage have his highest range of all the Sabbath albums, its the 1975 tour where he started having issues and ultimately lost his upper range.
This is my favorite Beatles song ❤❤❤
This ain't Beatles this is all mighty black sabbath
Some of Tony’s best riffs on this track. Geezer said this was his favorite album to make too.
At 15 my brother brought this album into the house. My dad freaked and said it wasn't going to spend one night in our house and that he had to get rid of it. We kept it at a friends house and secretly listened to it as often as we could. One of the best albums ever. At 58 I am still rocking to the sounds of the 70's and love it. My kids all grew up listening to mom's heavy metal rock and all love it too.

This song EMBODIES chaos
The song "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" by the band Black Sabbath from the album Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
+Robyn Madsen Are you crazy ladyl? this song is a plagiarism of the Brazilian song *Vanusa What to do* released in August 1973 , four months earlier than the release of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" which was launched in December 1973. At the time Vanusa was a national success in Brazil, someone from the British band listened the song and stole it without giving credits.
The same what Rod Stewart did with the song "Da ya think I'm sexy" released in 1978 stolen from the Brazilian song *Jorge Ben jor -Taj Mahal* released in 1972, the Brazilian artist filled a lawsuit and it was proved a plagiarism. This seems to be common among British artists huh?

I just feel fortunate to have spent a great deal of time listening to Sabbath and yes, these classics never get old.
Not an easy task to turn heavy metal into a sweet and charming melody
I actually think the what made Black Sabbath so great is that they would not just do heavy stuff but also do more melodic experimental stuff mixed in with it.
