One of the nicest guys i ever met he gave me his Snafu knee savers bars back in the early 2000’s at sk8 n ride Bristol, bunked school to watch him train for gravity games / x games truly epic. So happy to see him recover and wow to even be back on the bike LEGEND ❤
Si Tabron used to live in our town. Because of him, his influence and his reputation we not only got a skatepark built but we got a half decent one, not just 4 sheet metal ramps chucked on a square of tarmac. Without probably even realising he gave BMX to so many people who might not have got the start in it without him. Thank you Simon and glad to see you're doing well again
well done, go ahead i started to ride bmx 20 year ago, some years ago i sold my bmx, then become a lawyer, now i have 15 employees, since the begin i was always admiring Simon Tabron as a legend, curious fact still today and probably for ever i will try to find his videos online to watch again, glad u'r here, glad u'r still riding!
HEY, this similar thing happened to me!! In 2019 I had to have emergency open-heart surgery, and I am soo happy that I can ride again it's all I do, it's a blessing to be alive and ride, it truly is.
Great to see. Saw you the first time back in 91 at the worlds in Aalborg Denmark. You with the 900. Crazy like. the 96 spoke wheels back then. You and Oliie Mathews ruled it. All the best. Greetings from Denmark.
So amazing. I remember when Simon was a little kid on a turquoise Haro Sport shredding the UKBFA Nationals back in the late '80's. To go from that, to one of the top Pro Vert riders in the world, and then go through his most recent journey....?! It's just a crazy story, and a recovery most would simply not have thought possible. Bravo mate, bravo.
Absolute living legend! Absolutely dialled on the big ramp. Still the most impressive 5’s I have ever seen, post injury still looking absolutely incredible! Keep going Simon, absolute inspiration to all. Loved the skaters giving props too 🤘🏼
The extreme sports industry offers the most kudos, fame and fortune to those young athletes who take the biggest risks and the worst crashes for our entertainment.
Whenever I saw riding videos on his Instagram over the past few months, I was always wondering if they were old videos, because how do you come back from something like that and air that high? I remember watching Simon ride at Skate and Ride in Bristol in the early 2000s on a ramp half that width - to still be going even without the medical issues is huge. One of the all time best.
Tabron always had the best vert style in my opinion. On a technical level Mirra and Bestwick are "better" but to me nothing beats tabron going to the moon and keeping it simple
Just watched this video you gotta do what you want after serious illness,I had a heart attack then heart surgery,I'm 67 and bought a bmx bike 6 months ago to try flat land tricks never give up on your ambitions, whoever you are.
Looks like those skaters are as toxic as ever. Glad your back on the bike Simon and more importantly that you are ok! Let’s hear it for one more 900 when your ready!
Fun fact: here in Maryland the word on the street back in the day was Haro's were really heavy and not a bmx bike but a show off hike to brag how much you paid for it, like the back trail line up x2,3,4 so on

RAD - ride after death. You are a legend.

I literally almost started crying when they said he had a heart attack and a stroke.... Keep it up Simon, you are killing it.
Hole E. Shyt I had no idea that Simon went thru all that. Glad he's still with us and back to shredding. This is a huge inspriration.
Hope you are well, Tabron. Keep the vert alive. You and Bestwick inspired so many riders and will keep doing. All the best for you and keep healthy.
