I have a couple of those model of BG sockets fitted they are a pain to get connected and regularly loose the network as displayed in the app. Plus you have to turn whatever is connected off whilst you try and resolve the issue ,they have two modes of connection to the wifi if one fails which for me it always does. It would be so much easier if the network could be changed on the fly from the app without having to use the socket switches as the control input.

You could have just change the socket front for a smart socket no need to change the whole unit
Screws that hold faceplate are not compatible
