@@Mapmaker1559 Another option (actually two of them) are MD 25 (Falls Road) inside the Baltimore Beltway - it parallels Interstate 83 and predates it - and MD 45 (York Road) the former US 111 and precursor to Interstate 83 outside the Beltway. MD 45 goes through Hunt Valley (home to McCormick of spice fame) and Towson (longtime home to Black and Decker and DeWalt of power tool fame).
@@Mapmaker1559 So I guess carrol county is just traffic lights and stop signs. (Other than that small portion of 70.) Also, I think 70 only has one exit in carrol county. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@Mapmaker1559 Actually, I just discovered that I was wrong, this exit on 18:58 is woodbine md which is Carrol county. And so is 21:37 but it is just like md 27 with frederick county. Part of the interchange goes into howard county. Hey you learn something new everyday.
@@mixerdude Are you sure? Based on the map I looked at, the Carroll/Howard County line runs along the South Branch Patapsco River, which would mean I-70's interchanges with MD-94 and MD-97 (Exits 73 and 76) are both completely in Howard County.
Watching your videos makes me want to go on a road trip. A LONG road trip!! Another fine job...keep 'em coming!!
What I love about this trip is the strange road sounds in Frederick near New Market.
I-70 is a really scenic drive. 👌
I've always loved I-70 in Maryland. One of my favorite portions of highway.

Oh I didn't see this. I've been waiting for this. Yay
Also I was wondering if you could make md 32 from 70 to 97.
4:35 5:32 6:47 32:30 those are my favorite road pavement sounds of this trip! They make a really cool sound!
Best trip ever!!!
Fun fact, did you know i-70 is the only highway in Carroll county?
I actually hadn't realized that until you mentioned it. And it's only in Carroll County for a mile and a half!

@@mixerdude Nope, just that one interchange with MD-27. (And on top of that, part of that interchange is in Frederick County.)
