He will be missed. A complacent & lukewarm church said nothing when SCOTUS did gay marriage, when that happened (silence generally from USA pulpits) I knew we were in huge trouble.

Man I've been listening to Carman's music pretty much all my life. I'm 40 years old now. My dad was given a cassette, Carman Sunday's on the Way and played it for us. I took an instant love to it. I played it day after day week after week month after month. Sure I had other music I listened to, including DC Talk McGee and Me, etc(I must have been in the single digits). Sundays on the way literally came out on the year of my birth 1983. The tape disappeared one day. No idea what happened to it for years and my begged my parents to get me a new one and they got me Radically Saved. I was initially disappointed as it was so different from Sundays on the Way, but I soon found that I loved it. I then get Carman Ministries Presents Commissioned & the Christ Church Choir and eventually I rediscovered my Sundays on the way tape and I still own it to this day. I've heard this song before, but I think I was too young at the time to appreciate it as I really dug the faster songs, heard this one today for the first time in decades and dang, just like most of his music it is a truly stellar song. I was so depressed when I heard that Carman died. It was an absolute shock to my system. I googled to see what Carman was up to there it was an article saying that he died. I swear my heart skipped a beat. Having listened to this man's music since I was a child it just absolutely devastated me. Never have I had that sensation over anyone dying before outside of close friends and family.

I got to hear him live in the fall of 1996 in Atlanta in Georgia Dome with his R.I.O.T. program. That was an amazing concert. His album THE STANDARD was my favorite album in 1993, and I still listen to it many years later.

I've heard this song before, but I think I was too young at the time to appreciate it as I really dug the faster songs, heard this one today for the first time in decades and dang, just like most of his music it is a truly stellar song.
I was so depressed when I heard that Carman died. It was an absolute shock to my system. I googled to see what Carman was up to there it was an article saying that he died. I swear my heart skipped a beat. Having listened to this man's music since I was a child it just absolutely devastated me. Never have I had that sensation over anyone dying before outside of close friends and family.

Awesome song. Those who are in Christ never need feel hungry...only pray to be reminded of how filled you already are in Him! When you seek out the "junk food" of this world, perhaps you need only know that who you are in Christ is already satisfied. You never need anything else when you have what you already own, and you realize Who already dwells within you. Our marriage to Christ -as His Bride- is not about "settling down." It is about soaring to great heights together! That is the most intoxicating rush out there!
I got to hear him live in the fall of 1996 in Atlanta in Georgia Dome with his R.I.O.T. program. That was an amazing concert. His album THE STANDARD was my favorite album in 1993, and I still listen to it many years later.

The enemy drove and wrecked our close daughter and Dad also Spiritual relationship apart though I always prayed for my Dad to come Back to that Place I Once knew he was in the Lord.

You have to understand a kid who grew up in the United Pentecostal Church and then my parents divorced when I was 16. All I knew where holiness standards on the outside...long hair, skirts, etc. this song changed me. He wasn't so holiness within...that shines more for him than that outside.
