Exceptional compilation, instantly transported back to being a kid staying at my nan's watching Robot Wars and hoping i would see Chaos 2 make an appearance.
I have been searching for the Series 5 - 7 intro for years. It plays during the robot intros during Series 2's (my nostalgic favourite series). It brought me goosebumps and tears. Thanks so much
Woah, brilliant collection work here, Chris! As well as the obvious great tunes I know, there are some gems I wasn't aware of, like the Extreme Battle Themes. Robots' Revenge would work in a nightclub setting for a clued in audience for the verses, and then everyone can enjoy the lead melody. Fantastic! I presume John Waddell and Will Parnell composed the majority of these tracks. Are there any other known composers that have a part in this collection? :)
I don't remember the "Robots Revenge" theme, but I definitely get vibes of the end of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson... which honestly I find very funny. 😆
I think this show is where my liking for rock metal riffs comes from, despite not being particularly interested in that genre. Number 15 is just a Enter Sandman rip off basically.
@@kneesurgerytomorrow there's a few I left out on purpose, mainly because the attempts of isolating specific tracks became quite a bit of a headache. The Gauntlet theme also isn't there for the same reason
@@tylervielie5767 a lot of these themes were names "Sir Killalot Theme" or "Theme of Razer" by RC_99Productions. They're not the official names of each song. I wanted to name them based on what they were used mostly for.

Human ears, standby......
3, 2, 1, LISTEN!
This is what Robot Wars is all about, CARNAGE!
There's bits of Robot all over the arena!
Wack! Oh that was pure Robot Wars Extreme
Exceptional compilation, instantly transported back to being a kid staying at my nan's watching Robot Wars and hoping i would see Chaos 2 make an appearance.
I love that you included the Plunderbird songs.
WELL! No clear winner of that EPIC battle, looks like we'll have to go to the judges...
Remember, they're looking at style, control, damage and aggression!

Bits and pieces everywhere! You could melt them all down I suppose and make a whole new robot out of them!
Nothing sounded more dominating than the announcer saying "CEASE!" at the end of a match. In the UK version at least.
'STOP AND DEACTIVATE ROBOTS'
Let The Nostalgia Begin!
Great work by everyone credited in the description, and yourself.
Three. Two. One! Activate!
CEASE!

Just the Plunderbird songs are the exception as far as I know. Thanks for sticking around!
Ah, makes sense. Cheers for answering my question! :)
after all these years....that 2nd arena entrance theme....I'VE FOUND IT
4:37 aye, there it is
12:16 "extreme battle theme 2" sounds like it should be in the Unreal Tournament soundtrack! thats mint that.
Nothing pumps up the human body than watching robots do battle
This is EXACTLY what i've been looking for! This might actually just revive my scale arena project. Thank you so much!
its 4:30 in the morning. why am i here.. why am i not complaining? this is great.
Excellent work!
Extreme's battle themes sound like something you'd hear in a WWE Smackdown game from back in the day.
Doesn't surprise me at all. There's a big fan overlap from Pro Wreslting and Robot Combat
This gives me so much nostalgia! You gotta leave a download link for the tracks!
9:37 Pretty much a cover of Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', and 13:54 is a cover of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman'.
I don't remember the "Robots Revenge" theme, but I definitely get vibes of the end of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson... which honestly I find very funny. 😆
It was the song the Plunderbird 2 team made for season 2.
BOY! YES!
22:51-FINALLY FOUND IT!
If they ever rebooted the show again, I want Greg Davies to host, idk he's already a domineering and entertaining man as the Taskmaster.
They should have kept the og theme when they rebooted robot wars, and not the generic theme they used.

Oh 100% lmao
nice but you forgot the beginning bit of rw series 7 intro

Not yet, I'll post individual downloads at some point. I promise!
