Periodically check your local elevator union website for the next intake when they're accepting resumes. It is hard to get in though due to the number of applicants, but not impossible. In Toronto and GTA, there will be a lot of work coming up over the next 5 years so keep checking the website.

Iron Heart elevator construction unions specifically have helmet to hard hat members. Once u get out. Apply. They’ll almost definitely take you.
