having known this song for over 45 years now, yep Im a very old ABBA fan, I think your version and voice take it to a different place. ABBA's songs were often deep lyrically but cloked in a happy-clappy pop style. Here you take it back to the depths of Scandanavian melancholy. Loved it.
A darker version of one of my ABBA favorites. It sounds less hopeful than the original. Like it's past the point of no return for too long a time. But then, you finally sound like your reaching out to your failing lover starting at 2:35. The original song reaches out every time with that powerful, hopeful chorus - and one believes that there's still a chance for love. To shake and wake up the love that still might be inside of them. There is more of a balance of hope and despair throughout the original song. But you still did a good cover. And it's your interpretation. Audio sounds great too. Well done.

I think a lot of artists cave to producers who are only concerned about the current trends and what sells. It's sad that the artist can't express their emotions in songs anymore. Raw acoustic is the best.
