This movie is on my all time favorite list. It's so deep and nuanced. It protrays ALL the cultural roots of the fall of aristocracy after WW1 and the rise of fascism afterwards. Brilliant.

Haneke is an amazing guy ; his comments at the beginning are very valuable in understanding the movie.
