Thanks for giving us this information on technique. You're a true sportsman to help us with less experience catch more fish!! Hope to meet and fish with you someday. I certainly enjoy and appreciate your videos. Keep on doing the same you're doing!!!!
Awesome video of keeping things simple! U sold me and it's definitely appreciated! Wish I could have seen the graph on the examples of the bends and slope but Awesome video GF!!!
Really enjoyed this! Been considering upgrading electronics $$$ but maybe I'll hold off just a little longer. Thanks for the "old school techniques" Are you anchored or using Spot Lock of some kind?
Ulterra spot lock. However, as I mentioned in the video, I used to tie up to a "river bank" tree and swing the boat out in the river and anchor back of the boat. Thanks for the comment
Well Greg u showed me today this is why your a crappie guide and I'm not lol enoyed the vid sir👍hey Greg one question did u see those crappie with your graph or did u just go by the contour of the bottom and start fishing ?
All I used on purpose was my sonar. I can't talk with enthusiam unless I really believe what I'm doing. After about 10 crappie, I turned on the Panoptix and confirmed alot of fish were there. On the way out, I saw several other bends in the river that had crappie on them too. Great question, thanks!

Great tips! Thanks!
Always learned big things from your videos, Greg. For lakes with no rivers, likes Lake Conroe and Somerville, do you have any suggestions?
Any tributary including creeks

@@GregFenn Thank you sir, talked to my wife about booking a day with you. I'll be calling tomorrow to book :)
Tell me how you hook the minnow. Did you say that he was hooked in the bottom lip? Thanks
Up through the bottom lip and out the top of their head
Greg, do you prefer fishing inside or outside of the river bends? Or does it matter?
Usually outside, but both have produced.
