This video is amazing like you have no idea how big “ the marriage “ topic and process is for desi culture probably bigger than career lol . I feel like by making videos like this you give us an idea of what to expect and don’t live in the fairytale world . Trust me finding a good rishta is rare . These kind of videos will help us understand that what majority of us are going through is normal and we should talk about it more openly. Most of men or female want to settle down for someone who makes a lot of money (someone with good career) but often forget that you should concentrate more on personality but then again social media has been messing with our head and somewhere we have forgotten what we are really looking for .

Love your family and how you showed a part of our culture that often isn't shown on camera. I do have to say, I'm a little concerned about Mama Jee's comment on grandchildren. She may want grandchildren and you may want children but wouldn't your future wife play a role in when she wants children as well? Just don't want this to be a situation that we see way too often in our culture where the women get married and are then pressured by the their mother in laws to have kids while they are still young. I don’t believe in Arranged marriage at all the Ethnicity of the people needs to evolve and get with the times.
Think about your friend setting you up with a person or finding a match on a dating app. It is the exact same concept. Your parents find you a match (or matches), you say 'yes or no' to meeting them, if yes, you get to know the person and decide if they're a suitable life partner. That's all it is. Nothing more and nothing less.
there is a huge difference between arranged marriage and forced marriage. It all depends on peoples preferences and this term 'arranged marriage' is just a term. People go on dating apps or their friends introduce them so I don't think it should have a negative connotation to it.
