Another great hunt. If I were you Keith I’d go back and grab that radiator, those things are worth a bit of money. Sure does look like a tea kettle but maybe they used it for coffee?? Those four items you found are hinges probably for the stove since it was found in the vicinity. Also check out Grey Ghosts Headphones, they make one ear cuff headsets for hunting in the woods. Perfect for listening out for predators.
Considering the proximity of those 4 cast pieces you dug out and the cast wood burner stove top they may have been the hinges for the upper and/or lower ovens. I think that larger tea pot may be the type they used for heating water on the woodstove for laundry and bathing. Took awhile to get a hot bath ready .. lol
sure looks like the 4600 block of Dartmouth.
Awesome video. Cool tea kettle.
Neat stuff! In my area I find the bottles usually sink deeper than the cans, you may want to dig down under the cans.
You almost got a new car. And a good start on the kitchen. The four things looked like hinges. Lucky dig. Can you imagine finding your glasses.
Nice finds, that Rad has decent value to a collector or someone building a rat rod.
You found a great old teapot, Keith! And that radiator was awesome! Lots of little things, but looks like a great dig! Great video!
Mama's gone detecting has a good thought Keithie.😉
The radiator is worth restoring I think.
Hey Kiethie, I think you could build an entire car from all the parts you found. LOL the radiator was cool and so was the teapot. The spout at 11:25 was from a salt container. The containers were cardboard but they had the little metal pour spouts that pulled up and pushed back down. The 4 items you found all alike, the first thing that came to my mind was ratchets for tie down straps but I don't even know if they go back that old.
I wonder if the reason you are having a hard time finding bottles is that they we expensive to produce, heavy to carry and fragile so they didn't transport well. Especially trying to get them into those foothills. Just my thoughts though. I don't know that for a fact.
Great detecting buddy with some interesting relics there you found. Love the video and I’ll see you on the next! 👍🏼 GL&HH out there🍀🍀
during hunting season especially I like to wear a bit of Orange while out. Dont want to get confused for a moose by a hunter. Be safe and have fun :D
That radiator was a surprise. The water kettle was cool. I found two of those this year... gave them to my mother and she planted flowers in them and put them on her deck... they look pretty good that way.
There has to be some bottles there somewhere, buddy... medicine bottles and liquor bottles would be my guess.
It's a tea kettle Keithie.🙂 The radiator is cool!😁
odd you have not found any coins........get back there again soon - good luck..........
That would look so cool in a 🌸 bed....the radiator and tea pot. Have some little creeping plant growing out of the both. Enjoy you video’s my niece is a surgical nurse in Nashville USA....let me know if your want anything from the South (moon pie and RC ??)
'Searching for metal junk' is a better title.
Really enjoy these, thanks!!!!
