You might do some neck exercises. I use a 5 lb bag of rice and do 60 reps on each side. Front while doing knee lifts. Both sides then the back using 15 pounds with a head harness on hands and knees. Ive added about an inch girth and no more neck problems.
How is space in the van with two people and three dogs? My partner and I have two 50 pound dogs and have been debating a 170 versus a 144. We don’t plan a on going full-time but would be nice to go on longer trips.
Great question! Honestly, we would say go for the 170. It's not ideal having three (or in your case, two) fur babies in a small space but we come from a Promaster as our last van build which I think the wheel base was 159. We had the two bigger dogs at the time and it was a dance. Now it all depends on the build layout and your use case but if you're considering 170 vs 144....the increase in space definitely makes for more comfort.
@@FWDXPL There's currently a cyclone out in the northwest (wasn't there when we were) so that might be the weather you're seeing now! Either way, highly recommend

The weather reports are nuts, but looks like a great time to be out there. How low did the temp go?
Its was cold haha, felt like the low teens with the wind but we had fun 😊

@@waimeawanders Wow really? Well, I want to get out there and if I had to endure a cyclone I think my van can take it, and so can I! Hahah
