This city is just so beautiful. It screams French. The Québécois in Québec City are very, very lucky to live in the most extremely French city in North America. I’ve been to Le Havre, France in Europe. That city is just as beautiful as Québec. And I also been to Natchitoches, Louisiana in the USA. Natchitoches’ French heritage is not as strong as Québec’s, but it is there under all that American culture. It would be nice if Louisiana in the USA was like Québec. All I can say to this wonderful city in the francophone province of Québec is, VIVE LE QUÉBEC Nouvelle-France
Honesty the French quarter in New Orleans is very very French and similar to the architecture you find in Quebec. Louisiana just didn’t have the population size that Quebec did so the French culture got a lot more diluted over the years. But as you say it’s still very French mixed with Cajun, Caribbean and American culture.
What a magical piece of filming. I love the architecture and at perfect timing that you visited there during autumn. Thank you for showing us this city😁🤗💚💙

The areas with the older buildings looks like Europe/France but in North America. Looks beautiful on a nice early fall day but they can keep their winters.
@@rontvstudios I talked to a guy from Brazil who moved to Canada for college and he said he loved the winter & changing seasons there.I bet he liked the 1st winter there but not the second one after. lol I do like winter but only for about a month or 2 of it.... 6 months of cold,rain,snow less sunlight each year gets very old quick.

@@WalkingAlice very much so. The city erects a massive toboggan slide with 8 lanes on the Dufferin Terrace next to the Chateau Frontenac . Also the city used to erect on the lawn next to the Chateau a large outside screen for movies. There used to be a large Mardi Gras parade before Halloween. As well as the Bonhomme carnaval/ winter Carnival.

Thank you for posting this, it's so beautiful to see all of the beautiful buildings in Quebec City; I was born in Montreal, but only spent a couple of years there, unfortunately. My uncle, did a pencil drawing of The Chateau Frontenac in 1933, that I still have; loved seeing that and the modern city around it now. And to see inside of the hotel, was a definite treat, I'd never seen that. Very nice video, thank you for taking us on this walk! (From Sandi)
I've been to Quebec City many times and this past summer I stayed at the Chateau Frontenac for the first time. Most amazing hotel and well worth the money.
Ugh. This makes me want to go back to Old Québec so badly. My dream goal is to rent out a little apartment in Québec City for a month and get a busking license and play in the city and sit in the cafes, soak up the culture and practice my French. Love this place!!

You can learn French while in Québec, if you really want to stay here. When you are struggling you can switch to English. Lots of people understand English (they will just assume you are a tourist).
I'm pure English and live in the province of Quebec. Only place I feel at home .Montreal has a large English population and some other areas of Quebec also. I live in a small village...

You can learn French while in Québec, if you really want to stay here. When you are struggling you can switch to English. Lots of people understand English (they will just assume you are a tourist).
I'm pure English and live in the province of Quebec. Only place I feel at home .Montreal has a large English population and some other areas of Quebec also. I live in a small village...
@@hdufort I know they can speak English. Maybe I can go back to New Brunswick and learn French while working there, then move to Quebec later.
