This is shaping up to be my favourite of '21. Completely unexpected collaboration, and the styles they've pursued on this record-timeless country-soul-came as a bit of a surprise. It's such a beautiful record!

Naaa sorry I was in Olympic studios in 1992-3 recording rocks with Jimmy Miller , he was way better then, this is just another rehash of his early ballads

Nice. Much as I love the Scream, apart from the Memphis sessions that came out in 2018 I never thought they totally nailed the Country Soul sound Bobby so obviously loves. This is great though

One of my all-time Scream songs is their cover of the Mac's Over & Over, and this fits right into that bittersweet country-blues style. I love it, and can quite easily hear Nick Cave duetting with Petra Jean Phillipson on a cover version. Or Matthew E White/Natalie Press. Jim Ford from the dead with Crazy Horse. Roll on the full album. Bob's Blood on the Tracks. Hopefully that album cover is just a place-holder though.

I'm still not convinced that their voices fit together (although that works to benefit the theme). This is a classic song though.

Has Bobby split with his gorgeous model wife? She was lovely he’s very difficult and didn’t turn up so many times at Olympic studios then didn’t pay Jimmy Miller for rocks, it was Jimmy’s production that made him famous without Jimmy Miller he’s bland.
