Why do think that is amazing? Its 1991 not 2011. 91 was a long time ago man. But yes probably one of the best, if not the best american vehicle from that era. American Motors made some of the most competent well built cars.
One of the most beautiful American classic 4x4 vehicles, rich in chrome and wood. I had the honor of owning this Chrysler icon for several years. The car was so beautiful that I rarely left the paved roads.
It was really an AMC icon. Chrysler bought out AMC and made very few changes to the Grand Wagoneer. They stopped production on the Grand Wagoneer, J series pickups and only produced the Cherokee based Commanche for a few years also. They basically kept the Cherokee line and the CJ series. All other production was halted as it was competition for existing Mopar products and expensive to run all the lines.
i just bought a hunter green grand wagoneer in fair condition for 900 bucks last month! going to be my side project to become a weekend cruiser and tow rig for for my 87 grand national
These Are jumping up in value so fast , that it wouldn't surprise me if we see them hit $100,000 in a few years...Im seeing nice ones for $50,000 to $60,000 right now.
Wow. You've kept that in amazing condition. I hear Fiat-Chrysler is thinking about bringing the Grand Wagoneer back, as a matter of fact. As you may or may not know, the current Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango are on the same platform (a Mercedes-Benz platform at that), with the latter essentially being a stretched version of the former and can seat seven people, versus five. However, the Durango doesn't sell so well, whereas the Grand Cherokee sells excellently, and has kind of become the new "humble" upwardly-mobile vehicle...what the Grand Wagoneer was all those years ago. So, Fiat-Chrysler is considering the idea of discontinuing the Durango as it is and then replacing it with a "Grand Wagoneer", which would be the same thing, but would wear more Jeep-like styling and would come in at a higher level (and with more equipment) than the Grand Cherokee. Of course, there'll never be another Grand Wagoneer like yours, so hold on to it!
This was my daughters car . We bought from a neighbor for 3500 bucks then sold it to a guy in Dallas for 6500. Was glad to get rid of it. My second one in 40 years. My daughter has never let me forget it. Win some lose some.. Its in The Hamptons now.
Quality is not something typically associated with this make and model of vehicle. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s they were rated dead last by Consumer Reports.
Looks like two over grown 14 years old Revenge the motor like a Italian race car macaroni mechanic driving with the horn Big shots for the day in Texas love the jeep To bad the quality ct o
You have potential. If you want more views and a following, I encourage you to talk and interact with the audience in the videos. Encourage them to subscribe and stuff. Maybe tell them what you have in store next time, or what cool cars you have filmed priorly.
I used to own 1983 Jeep Grand Wagoneet. It's a shame that dealerships have inflated the price of these vehicles by 300%! Why are they more expensive now than then?
I bought one from a collector who had 30 in his garage. His wife made him sell it. I offered 3K and she said take the offer. Women...(I only had 3K). Same condition 72,000 miles.
Amazing that they still made these in 1991, what a cool classic look.
Indeed! Thanks for checking it out. They are getting harder and harder to find.

Terrence Gold It is amazing because they used the same body panels in this model from 1963 until 1991!
Wow! Why change something that works already lol
A masterpiece I don't think repeats..... Jeep is grateful for this production
Pure vintage classic.. beautifully maintained.. has great visibility & abundance of space that none of modern cars offer
Couldn't agree more!
This truck is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!

+Kyree S. Williams the fact that the grand Cherokee sits on a Mercedes platform is a clear sign that fiat has no idea what an American suv is.
Im scared to see what the design of the grand wagoneer would be. They've already messed up with the cherokee
After seeing it. I'm not surprised they totally redesigned it.
They did it!
Freaking beautiful!🥰👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Still Loving that look. I own a 83 Limited.

Even though this one was built by Chrysler, you can still see components from GM, which supplied AMC with such as the ignition switch.

That's my ideal Dream Vehicle. You all can keep that other plastic crap.
I can agree
No rear shoulder belts, even for 1991?
Didn't notice
distributor cap and rotor very accessible ,unlike later 318,360 can not even get there, hiding way in the back.
