Great vid! Just started my youtube channel a few weeks ago and thanks to your suggestion is going great! Guys remember: UA-cam is a marathon, not a sprint. Good luck everyone!🙂
I finally started uploading a week ago and your advice really helped overcome my perfectionism hurdle. I uploaded the videos knowing that they are quite imperfect and that I will gradually get better 😬 I’m excited about this new “project” because I love sharing what I know and helping others and this has been fun so far.
Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame -ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
We’ve been through the part time UA-camr academy. It’s such a wealth of information. Our channel is SLOWLY growing. At times it’s a little discouraging. We just keep moving forward hoping that it will pay off one day. This video is encouraging and helpful thank you!

A college student who started a UA-cam channel, and i might say Ali has been the biggest inspiration ever, have been falling in love with the process of creating content and learning new skills, all thanks to Ali 🤸✨💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
At 60 and retired with my husband, a lot of this doesn't really apply to me, as I am not in it for business but bonding with others and others bonding with others - creating a community for older people, talking about issues of aging, being entertaining at the same time and finding or making time is not a huge issue. So at the moment I DO edit etc. and I really enjoy researching and planning (i think it started as procrastination but i came to enjoy it). My life now is pretty quiet, and I get a lot of satisfaction doing it all myself, but I promise I will occasionally consider outsourcing an editor. I suppose it might be nice for extra income, but it is not my focus. Maybe if it rears its head and becomes a possibility i might consider it. My biggest struggle is myself, my insecurities, my "training" by parents and culture that as a woman of how "a lady acts". Ridiculous, I know, but i notice it most when I'm working on YT. I find your videos excellent and am a subscriber. Hi from Canada! (Oct 2024)
From Bangladesh here! This was pure gem. I am a medical doctor and a part-time freelance content writer. I have learned so much from you already. Now I'm trying to grow my UA-cam channel and this was gold! Thanks so much. Implementing all these in my next video.
Ali I have a book idea for you that I would personally want to read. "Beyond Productivity: Finding the Balance Between Ambition and Well-Being" would focus on helping people like me(and loads of people in this hustle culture) who struggle to balance ambition and self-care. The focus should be on finding a way to achieve our goals and provide for our families without sacrificing our own well-being. You can share real stories and actionable advice to help redefine success so it feels fulfilling rather than draining.
I'm listening to this whilst I'm busy with my next video. I've already found my niche (Tech), so I don't need to worry about my niche. I'm glad I've stopped procrastinating at the moment, lol. Let's see how far I get, and how well this comment ages.
I have just started my UA-cam journey. I love colouring and it makes me feel relaxed. I hope I pass that with my videos, so others can feel the same as well! :) Good luck to everyone who is starting now! ❤
I’ve been making videos for almost 5 years now (though not as consistently as I’d like), and I’ve personally created over 400 videos. But it’s only now that I feel like I’m really starting to figure things out. Honestly, this video has been one of the most helpful ones I’ve seen so far! Thank you so much for putting this out there-it’s exactly what I needed!
Excellent video, Ali!!! thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, recommendations and words of encouragement with us. You are really an inspiration! I just started my UA-cam Channel last week and have only 3 subscribers but I'm doing it just for fun and to share with other people, because the value and knowledge that we are providing to others when we make these videos is the most important thing to me! To everyone who is starting a UA-cam channel like me, I wish you all the best!. It is not easy, but it can be a wonderful hobby and a lot of fun!. Trust and enjoy the process and never give up. You just have to have patience, persistence and consistency. We just need to keep moving forward and improving, just don't give up. Thanks again, Ali for this valuable and wonderful video!. All the best to all of you reading this and many blessings!!!😊🙏🙏
I really want to encourage you to start now but keep watching videos and learn how to get better us the community section and go to other videos and leave comments anther way to get people to see your content
Ciao! I just started my UA-cam channel and have uploaded three videos. I find your tips incredibly helpful! I've made notes and already used some in my last video. Thanks so much for sharing your Beginners Guide!
Hope you are well. I watch all your videos on UA-cam. You are making amazing video content. Your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content. I was analyzing your channel and noticed that you are struggling with video views and video ranking. May I share some tips on how you can achieve your goals?
Just started my UA-cam channel a month ago and I will say, that Ali you have been the biggest inspiration yet, been grinding just like you have and hopefully I will be somewhere or even higher than where you are 💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you for another awesome video Ali, I have been watching since you were a doctor and have loved how you have evolved. I want to grow a UA-cam channel but my biggest hurdle is my appearence. While there is nothing really wrong with how I look it is what holds me back. I am now 50yrs old and looking at myself in my videos is such a struggle. I have a tone of content to share that is very useful and I love the platform so much, I have filming and editing skills, all the things except I hate looking at myself. I know Im old enough to know better but its a real challenge. Thanks again for your beautiful self and I look forward to your next video. 😊
Der Ali, I was just browsing and came across your amazing video, and I have to say-it really resonated with me. As someone who has been wanting to start a channel but feels a bit lost on where to begin, your content was a game-changer. Believe it or not, it’s been almost two years now that I’ve been standing on the edge, ready to jump into starting my channel but unsure of what’s holding me back. Your video offered such detailed insights and practical advice that it finally feels doable. You’ve truly created something valuable for beginners like me, so hats off to you! I’ve just subscribed to your channel and can’t wait to see more of your content. Keep up the great work and continue inspiring others-you’re doing an incredible job! Cheers,
Thanks Ali, learned a lot from your videos and in fact I was a youtuber once when I was 14 years old and after watching your inspirational videos started to do it again want to thank you for providing us valuable and most importantly honest informations as you tried and help you along the way :) I am currently 610 subscribers trying to find my Niche also along the way so wishing best luck to everyone in this journey maybe some of us will meet someday :)
I totally agree with bulleting. That's what I have realized recently. I am good at scripting(writing). It allows me to have a clear scope of the talk, and then I am guided by the bullet on the flow and transitions. I love to speak freely. This is a great advice. Thanks. I hope to offer good value to people one day just like you do.
Thanks Ali , I know equipment does not matter much at the start , but right now what i need is a good camera , for better video quality. love From Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Ali, thank you very much for such a valuable video! Im watching you since 2020 i think, when you were working as a doctor, and then you leaved it and started to work full time on youtube. Now in 2024, you've inspired me a lot with this one, and now i would like to start my own channel too! Thank you very much!
I’ve been uploading 10-second latte art videos daily for 130 days. I’ve improved a little, but I never imagined that with 130 days of consistency, I would gain 1.2k subscribers and consistently get 10k viewers on each short video. My first tip: 'Start now.' There’s a long way to go, but all the best to everyone. We’re all in the same boat. I’ve also started uploading on another channel I created 12 years ago for art and DIY content, to see if it’s luck or consistency at play. 🙌🏻 Let’s see how UA-cam rewards consistency!
I can solve the problem you are frustrated with very easily and refresh your UA-cam channel which will increase your video views and subscribers at a faster rate😊
Thank you for this. I started my youtube channel and am still trying to get it all together. my focus his on listing homes for sale in real estate. IHavent found someone who only talks about that so I think I'm in the right place just need to stay consistent so that growth can take place. Thank you for this video.
Good God! The amount of value in this video is astounding!! Thanks Ali! I created my UA-cam channel a while back but am just now starting to post. I really struggle with scripting so hearing you say “no scripting” was a huge relief. 😅

Deng I’ve been editing audio for 10 years and editing video for 6 years. I like to do that. But your points in this video definitely make a lot of sense.
This is correct, Minority Mindset strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
Thanks Ali! PTYA student here and I'm finally listening. My next videos will be edited by someone else. I slept at midnight because I was editing last night and I get up for work at 5 a.m (Make it make sense lol) I decided that that is enough of the madness.
Don't forget to put in the work to study and get better every time! My channel has stagnated because I perfected the art of pumping out a short in 2 hours a day, and just rode that for over 100 videos. You have to also put in the work to improve. Not just practice, but better practice every time. You got this!
Great Video, came across really genuine and it’s good to be reminded that YT is more than something purely for financial gain. I am currently struggling with putting videos together or idea generation 😬, I have been involved in construction since I was 5, half my family live in Spain,me Suffolk, I started the gym/crossfit a lot over the last year and in good shape. I guess they’re my unfair advantages. I’ve learnt that when I am accountable I ‘get on with it’ a lot more than when I’m not. SO, maybe a video about things you can do to make yourself accountable. It’s probably a pride thing for me, it’s because I’m proud of being a reliable person and thus when I’m accountable, (or I say Yes too much) I don’t let them down thus get more stuff done. Let’s face it most of us don’t want to go to the 9-5 on a Monday morning but it’s the accountability that gets us out of bed. Hope that makes sense! Good luck to everyone on their YT journey and remember, it’s about the journey, not the destination, enjoy it ✌🏻111 subs and counting 😊
I started a few weeks ago ❤ thanks so much for your tips! Creating content has helped build resilience in dealing with life even if i only have 25 subs, i love it! 😊
If I would have to start again on YT, I just wouldn't waste months to get recognized by couple hundred people. When I discovered I could trigger organic growth after getting first 1k subs (by using a bit of Fame- ster) my life got a lot easier and my main channel exploded. People are just looking at the numbers when searching for some content. If you have low subs no one cares abot you even if you have best content on platform.
There are days that I am lost and not motivated at all. However, after watching just one of your videos, I ALWAYS feel like I have so much to do. I am grateful for you, Ali.
Here's a concise overview of what you need to know: 1. Start creating videos, even if they aren't perfect. 2. Commit to a consistent upload schedule. 3. Outsource your video editing to save time. 4. Write captivating titles that include keywords, numbers, and strong adjectives. 5. Be authentic to your personality and let your passion shine through.
My question is that if you have an old youtube channel, which doesn't go somwhere should I create a new one or I just rebrand it now for the new direction? Anyone can share any experience? Thank you
OMG!! This transformations is absolutely amazing!! I newly trade in Bitcoin and I've been making losses but recently I see a lot of people earning from it. Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrongly .?
As a beginner who don't understand how Bitcoin trade really works and you really want to make profit from it, I will advise you to work with a expert trader
I highly recommend Expert Mrs Florence Campbell to anyone that is in need of a reliable broker, she is my current trader and her strategies earning a lot of profit from her.
Thank you, Ali! Super helpful video! I'm literally just planning to start a UA-cam channel, or actually two different ones, and this gave me so much tips already. Super thankful!
this is crazy because I literally have Simon Squibb video you mentioned pulled up on my second screen sitting there for 2 days. Now I know it's a sign to watch it. WOW!
My channel has travel vlogs, pranks, backflip tutorials, football tutorials, book reviews. I mean what the hell is my niche? 😂😂 No idea what I want to be known as..
U r speaking my language. I have 24k subscribers, gotten demonetize and still don’t know what my niche is. Omg. I m just about to give up. I keep starting new channels omg I m just tired
Highlight of the video: “What do I know right now that I didn’t know 2 years ago, 3 years ago or 5 years ago, and what can I teach myself?” What a simple and fantastic way of breaking down idea generation for UA-cam, etc. - It’s unique to you and your unique perspective and experience - It creates value for others for those who are currently at the same level that you were - It allows you to master the subject by teaching it - It puts value into the world and gives everyone access to your unique voice and experience, the definition of being helpful to others
Really appreciate how open and transparent you are about your processes and prices. Many other creators would keep much more under lock and key until you pay their course. Cheers from Germany
Hi Al…wanted to get your input on how shorts. What are their purpose to the audience and can they produce revenue like videos? Trying to figure out what exactly is their purpose. Thank you for your time!
If, due to lack of resources, I have to be my own editor for now, what are the most important things that I should implement in my editing to give my videos the best chance for success? Great video and advice as always, Ali. Thank you very much!
How fortuitous! I recently committed to an”serious” relationship with my UA-cam channel has been up for almost 5 years but I haven’t uploaded anything on a regular basis. So helpful, thanks! 🙏 On editing: I agree 100% on the editing. The problem is that a good editor isn’t cheap. Unfortunately, I don’t have the expendable income to pay $70 per video to have it edited, especially if I’m trying to upload 1 or more videos a week, that’s hundreds of dollars a month I just don’t have at the moment. If things pick up I will definitely outsource though because what you say is true, not the funnest part of the job.
Oh my gosh thank you so much Ali for doing this video. I've just kick started my YT channel again after taking a break because my inner critic was LOUD. But now I've come back at it with a new perspective and mindset. Everything you've shared is beyond useful. And I really love your YT mantras. Definitely something I'm going to do. Could you do a video on the End Screen you mentioned. I find this bit the toughest. Like how to wrap it up and close without going into "subscribe bot" haha. Thanks again Ali.

I love your videos Ali, I have been watching your videos since 2020, There is this video you did a while back, it has been a game changer for me in the way i viewed entrepreneurship that got me transitioning from my music career into entrepreneurship, now i am taking steps to really dive into youtube based on that idea i learnt from your video where you spoke about starting a business online by documenting your journey it has been my blueprint for advice to others that i have came across wanting to start on this journey, after this video i am taking this youtube journey serious coz procrastination had gotten the best of me but now i think i am ready. Thank you so much really appreaciate the value you have brought into this space as well as my life.
As a small UA-camr who has a 9 to 5 job, I used to feel overwhelmed creating & editing content then I decided to outsource even when I haven't started making money on YT, at first I thought I was wasting money but it freed up my time & I'm inspired to create more so hearing you advising the same was just an affirmation for me to keep on.
Ali what advice would you have for a music video channel? Are we restricted with the nature of the content being a music video? Or are there ways to get your song heard and provide some meaningful entertainment. Not many people talk about this niche. Maybe because its nature is restrictive. Any advice you have would be great.
Thanks Ali,I just searched on UA-cam about how to make UA-cam channel and your video came up and found very helpful.I am going to make a UA-cam cooking channel and definitely going to follow these tips.Definitely you are a good teacher and explained will.
It is fascinating how when I feel like starting a UA-cam channel Ali makes a video like this. This video is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to get going
Thank you for creating such a helpful video, Mr. Abdaal! I am in between level 1 and 2, recently decided to take UA-cam more seriously by uploading consistently. On my Notion page, I have your quote to remind myself that“There’s no secret to building a life-changing UA-cam Channel. It’s just a matter of: 1. Creating videos that people find valuable, 2. Posting them on UA-cam at least once a week, 3. Repeating this for at least 2 years.”
I am prepping to post my first video, and this was very insightful on the "recipe" for starting out. I've been recording and conceptualizing for several years since starting my own journey as a full time solo female nomad, and I a ready to do this. Thanks! subscribed!
I’ve been wanting to start UA-cam on and off for about 3 years now😅. I filmed a whole bunch last year and even posted the first video, but quickly became overwhelmed with the amount of editing that needed to be done. Then I started a new job that required a lot of learning and so I just didn’t have the mental energy to also learn video editing on the side. Well, I’m about to film my first (technically second) video, and this time I’m taking it slow, editing one video at a time (until I can afford to outsource it), not really worrying about niches or perfect set ups. I just want to share things with people I find valuable and chat - the kind of videos I enjoy watching (but somehow am convinced no one will watch if I make them). Good luck to everyone on this journey!
I have a full-time 9-5 office job. I work on editing my videos during my lunch hour. Once I decided to change focus from a hobby to business mentality, my UA-cam channel grew. I’m currently at 10K and growing. It’s a lot of hard work, especially with a job, but if you want it bad enough you can find the time.

Implementing all these in my next video.
I just started my channel a couple of days ago. I'm in it for the long haul. I appreciate these gems. thanks so much!
Who is the author?
Ooh! I want to read that title too!

Good luck to everyone who is starting now! ❤
This gave me courage to start a UA-cam channel ❤🎉
It also made me see all the mistakes I did that were ok as a beginner
I’ve been making videos for almost 5 years now (though not as consistently as I’d like), and I’ve personally created over 400 videos. But it’s only now that I feel like I’m really starting to figure things out. Honestly, this video has been one of the most helpful ones I’ve seen so far! Thank you so much for putting this out there-it’s exactly what I needed!
Hi
@@ishwarchandra3210 hello
I’m doing the planning now to start a UA-cam channel next year and this is super helpful, thank you so much!

I just started last month about makeup foundation tips and reviews! As of now 7 subs but keep on going!

With so many videos about UA-cam content this is the best I’ve seen so far thank you
Just started my UA-cam channel a month ago and I will say, that Ali you have been the biggest inspiration yet, been grinding just like you have and hopefully I will be somewhere or even higher than where you are 💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you Ali for giving me the courage to get out of my comfort zone and finally start my own channel! 🙏
I started right now! Currently in the get going phase (level 1). 😁 Thank you so much for this guide! 💪💪
My friend thank you so much for sharing your insights! May God bless you!
I don’t see any videos on your channel are you going to start posting and what kind of content will you make
Thank you for another awesome video Ali, I have been watching since you were a doctor and have loved how you have evolved.
I started my channel 3 weeks ago, it’s a bit overwhelming figuring out my niche and my style of content but I’m here for the long haul ❤

Thanks Ali , I know equipment does not matter much at the start , but right now what i need is a good camera , for better video quality. love From Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
For me it was better to buy a proper light and big softbox rather than buying a better camera :)
Consistency is indeed very important! :)
I stopped posting video 4 years ago. I have no idea what to do next with my channel now. Thanks for your tips.
I can solve the problem you are frustrated with very easily and refresh your UA-cam channel which will increase your video views and subscribers at a faster rate😊
It shows how people are stuck in a trance because nobody is talking about a book called The secret money magnet formula
Thank you for this. I started my youtube channel and am still trying to get it all together. my focus his on listing homes for sale in real estate. IHavent found someone who only talks about that so I think I'm in the right place just need to stay consistent so that growth can take place. Thank you for this video.
Thanks for the inspiration, Ali. Always a thing or two to learn from you.
Good God! The amount of value in this video is astounding!! Thanks Ali! I created my UA-cam channel a while back but am just now starting to post. I really struggle with scripting so hearing you say “no scripting” was a huge relief. 😅

I’ve been editing audio for 10 years and editing video for 6 years.
I like to do that.
But your points in this video definitely make a lot of sense.
I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TRADING/ INVESTING AND I'M KEEN ON GETTING STARTED . WHAT ARE SOME STRATEGIES TO GET STARTED WITH .?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Mr Minority Mindset.
This is correct, Minority Mindset strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
Isn't that the same Minority Mindset that my neighbours are talking about, he has to be a perfect expert for people to talk about him so well

Thanks Ali! PTYA student here and I'm finally listening. My next videos will be edited by someone else. I slept at midnight because I was editing last night and I get up for work at 5 a.m (Make it make sense lol) I decided that that is enough of the madness.
yesssss
I’ve learnt that when I am accountable
I ‘get on with it’ a lot more than when I’m not.
Here's a concise overview of what you need to know:
1. Start creating videos, even if they aren't perfect.
2. Commit to a consistent upload schedule.
3. Outsource your video editing to save time.
4. Write captivating titles that include keywords, numbers, and strong adjectives.
5. Be authentic to your personality and let your passion shine through.
Thanks!
I am gonna make it I promise!!! Good Luck Everyone!
Yes, we are going to make it
My question is that if you have an old youtube channel, which doesn't go somwhere should I create a new one or I just rebrand it now for the new direction? Anyone can share any experience? Thank you
OMG!! This transformations is absolutely amazing!! I newly trade in Bitcoin and I've been making losses but recently I see a lot of people earning from it. Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrongly .?
Why are you trading on yourself do you like making losses, is quite risky for beginners without basic knowledge, to make a good profits !!
All you need now is a professional trader else you will continue making losses
Trading on your own
Is nice if you have the ideas, Actually it's not all about watching several tutorial videos that cost your time on a strate

Hey Ali!
My channel has travel vlogs, pranks, backflip tutorials, football tutorials, book reviews. I mean what the hell is my niche? 😂😂 No idea what I want to be known as..
ha ha ha, all in one
U r speaking my language. I have 24k subscribers, gotten demonetize and still don’t know what my niche is. Omg. I m just about to give up. I keep starting new channels omg I m just tired
@@GATSBYGH Start with a niche and when you see the channel is grow up
Then you jumn for another
Then your audience have Trust on you.
Highlight of the video:
“What do I know right now that I didn’t know 2 years ago, 3 years ago or 5 years ago, and what can I teach myself?”
What a simple and fantastic way of breaking down idea generation for UA-cam, etc.
- It’s unique to you and your unique perspective and experience
- It creates value for others for those who are currently at the same level that you were
- It allows you to master the subject by teaching it
- It puts value into the world and gives everyone access to your unique voice and experience, the definition of being helpful to others
On editing: I agree 100% on the editing. The problem is that a good editor isn’t cheap. Unfortunately, I don’t have the expendable income to pay $70 per video to have it edited, especially if I’m trying to upload 1 or more videos a week, that’s hundreds of dollars a month I just don’t have at the moment. If things pick up I will definitely outsource though because what you say is true, not the funnest part of the job.
after watching your course on skillshare about starting youtube , I started my channel and uploaded my first video in the this week
I am going to start a youtube channel soon
I hope to grow one day like you 🙏
Thank you so much sir For this
Oh my gosh thank you so much Ali for doing this video.

This video was SO informative! I’m just starting out with my Art UA-cam channel and I’m excited to apply the great advice you’ve given.
Ali what advice would you have for a music video channel? Are we restricted with the nature of the content being a music video?
Or are there ways to get your song heard and provide some meaningful entertainment. Not many people talk about this niche. Maybe because its nature is restrictive. Any advice you have would be great.
Great Help!
this is one of the first videos I have seen that starts off by saying you don't need a niche and for that I thank you
Thanks Ali,I just searched on UA-cam about how to make UA-cam channel and your video came up and found very helpful.I am going to make a UA-cam cooking channel and definitely going to follow these tips.Definitely you are a good teacher and explained will.
I love your conversational presentation style. I've learnt a lot in a short space of time. Thank you.
Excellent video! I deeply appreciate your guidance. Thank you!
Thank you so much Ali! This video was so insightful and really helped clear the vision on what's really important.
00:30:00 Just the BEST advice ever. ❤ feeling it in my bones 😂
Found this video very helpful! Thank you!!
