The priceless things you found are amazing. To me this is a better find than a bar of gold.
Fascinating storage unit! My dad was an aerospace and nuclear science engineer and had similar items in his office. I still have them plus two of his slide rules! I can still use them. Fun walk back in time!
You got a unit of a man’s entire history. As a family historian and genealogist I’m drooling!
C.E. Lowell (1933 - 2020) what an amazing man . . . I just googled his name out of curiosity. Not only Scientific Research cited by other scientists but also Family history. You have certainly found value in the unit but C.E. Lowell was also a man with values.
“ I should have never ever touched that”
Continues digging in the box like a dog burying a bone.😂😂😂😂😂
Christian is a treasure! He's so intelligent and and a hard worker..You can see in his face that he has a good soul..You are blessed to have him..
Jeremy and George that unit is so fantastic the king of storage unit's has hit a mother load great buy Jeremy you guy's are truly amazing and loving people I know love and prayers 🙏 to you Jeremy and George love you both ❤❤
Wow! So glad this unit is yours.❤ to all
It was good to see you sorting another unit. It was also good to see Christian. How is you adorable baby girl and mommy doing?
Wow, what a great unit guys. That gentleman was a quite intriguing individual, to bad you couldn't meet him and just have a wonderful conversation about his life instead of flipping through pages of a book.
Carl was a materials engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center for 31 years. He enjoyed nature photography, travel, classical music and literature.
Wow, what awesome finds. So much history. Keep Smiling. Stay Safe. God Bless.❤🙏
I think this could end up being one of the highest price paid to profit made ratio unit you've ever gotten.
His obituary describes everything you found (edited for privacy) ...passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was born June 8, 1933 to parents ... in Cleveland, OH. Carl was a materials engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center for 31 years. He enjoyed nature photography, travel, classical music and literature. He was a poet and an author. A consummate gentleman and a devoted husband. He is survived by his beloved wife...seven children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Sad that none of this large family wanted any of he things he clearly treasured.
Y
He's on Amazon with a description of his whole life!! I'm amazed by this man's life!!
The gentleman that owned the unit, is what you would call a Renaissance man.
What a great find! I just looked this guy up and Wow! You may have some very special stuff on your hands!
Indeed..the history just makes me so happy that it's with someone who is respectful of it and appreciates it .thank you
Glad to see cristian back and glad to see old-school bidding going again was fun to watch xx
C.E. Lowell was a very interesting man. Read his Recollections book. It looks to be a fun story about his life in the Cleveland area. Another great unit! Thanks for the video!😊✌💲
********* Jeremy, that one photo album that you opened up that had the woman sitting by the desk on the phone. That was my mother.!!! I have that exact same picture of her sitting by the desk that was in my father’s paint factory she was his secretary.
Hey it’s a life storage place.
Man this was such an impressive unit! Love all that history in such good condition. They took care of all of it so well to get passed down.
I found his book on amazon. i can't link. His "about the author" is interesting. He was recognized for his work on the Apollo missions.
I looked up the March 1932 edition of Fortune magazine that you showed in the vid. On ebay, there were two listings - one was about $460.00 and the other was $499.00. Y'all definitely hit the jackpot with this unit!!!
The guy that owned this unit was ridiculously smart!! He was credited for major contributions to the process that was able to increase the temperature of the space shuttle tiles. True American Hero 👍👏
Take care of the Indian shawl/Sari. The gold thread is very often real gold and different colours of cloth have different meanings. 😊
C. E. Lowell 1933-2020. Look him up he worked for NASA's Glenn Research Center and earned an Apollo Achievement Award for his contributions to man's first landing on the moon. His lifelong passions were literature and classical music.
Wow. One of my top 5 storage units you've found. I'd of love that unit, but they don't have them over here inthe UK, there few and far between. What a find!🎉🎉mx
Even photos are worth money congrats on a great find well done in saving history from land fill
Thanks for sharing Jeremy George Christian, that's a great unit ,surprise cleaning supplies Christian's favourite 😂keep up the good work guys ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m having my koi fish pond rebuilt . They are so calming to sit by. Your excitement sometimes over whelms me in a good way
How come every time Christian is on the show there’s a box of cleaning stuff😂 This has to be a sign 😂
Here before this blows up.
His soul is clean😅❤
Wow, some amazing history and quality finds in that unit. Funny hearing you mispronouncing all the composers. My favourites were the colourful journals, bet they're worth loads. Would love to have a follow-up on this once you've researched the items a bit more.
Definitely would love an update on this unit 😊❤!! Im Definitely a NASA nerd and would love to have that book in my collection!!
I just love how Jeremy gets so excited. The tone in his voice makes me smile!
What a nice presentation of Mr. Lowell's work and life ..☺️ He would be flattered I'd bet !
It's refreshing to see a unit that's not all consumerism-- this man had his own, refined, tastes, reflecting a life well-lived. I get the impression, as a book and record album keeper myself, that these became the things difficult to physically manage in old age, but impossible to part with!
Books can be worth a fortune but so can what people stuff in them. My old boss gave me a book from his father in laws collection about firearms without looking through it. I took a quick peak since we were moving everything and $600 fell out. I gave it back and told him we need to go through all of them. 5 hours later we found a total of $34, 600 in all of them.
George Gershwin is a famous American composer and Porgy and Bess was a musical loosely based on Pygmalion.
I have been watching this with my mouth open!!!! It’s amazing everything you touch!!!!
What a great unit Jeremy.
Finding out he was an author was amazing.
With all what you have experienced, you and George's resilience in fighting for doing the right thing.
Just wondering if you would ever write a book?
I would really have liked to see the lighthouse map opened up to show where lighthouses existed along the US coastline. They are an amazing piece of American history that so many people will never see in their lifetime.
This is a Post Pepper show right and not pre-pepper😂
Thanks for clearing that up.
Here before this blows up.
Pyrex ........the guy had to eat. What an amazingly incredible unit.
Since he was into photography, do you think he did his own development and the Pyrex was for the developer chemicals?
George Gerswin was a wonderful composer! Rhapsody in Blue..one of my favorites! Porgy and Bess included the song Summertime.
Unit is a Media History on many formats 😊
Here before this blows up.
Thank you very much.
I would've been like a kid in a candy store with that unit..❤..wonderful exciting unit..
😲😲Oh! Ahh! Wow! Wow! Wow! That's my kind of nerd! I love classical music too. You kinda have to if you're in the band. What an interesting & valuable unit! 😱Yikes! That ended creepy!💕🙏🤗🥰
You are right! Band and Orchestra nerd here!
It's great when you take a walk through history. His daughter has published some of his works in loving memory.
Reflections of an obscure family is $27.95 in hard bound. So I’m positive those originals will be worth a pretty penny. Congrats on the major score!
I would contact a museum, a library or university. They could tell you what the history is. The "Harper's Bazar" framed artworks are most likely lithographs, prints. Good luck with the research. I would be very interested in hearing what you find out. ❤
The person who left these treasures behind was obviously an intellectual with exquisite taste in music, art, and literature.
I love What the Hale$❣️❣️❣️❣️❤❤❤
I love Classical music also, way tomgo,Christain! I hope Baby Pepper and Momma are doing well.
I also love those old Christmas lights, they remind me of my youth in the 1960's and 70's.
I always find it super interesting hearing what u look at in the photos when u are buying storage units. I love all the little bits of information u share that can be helpful to us little guys with no experience. It's always fun to learn, and I can't even imagine the type of rush u must get when u get into a rhythm going through such an immaculate unit like this one! I'm totally feeling ur on the right track with checking the books and records for cash. I think it could definitely be possible that u could find some of that cold, hard, green stuff hidden away safe and sound just waiting for u! Lol congrats guys, so nice to know that such a historically important unit is going to ppl who know how to treat it right 😉🙃🤗😏I'll stay tuned to learn more storage buying secrets from the best around... 👍👌 Christian! Lol 😆 🤣 jk✌️💜
What an amazing unit! I would be mesmerized by all the beautiful history in that unit. I had to look him up…what an amazing person ❤ May he rest with God. 🙏🏻✝️😂
Carl was a materials engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center for 31 years. He enjoyed nature photography, travel, classical music and literature. He was a poet and an author. A consummate gentleman and a devoted husband.
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻
What an interesting unit. Congratulations and thank you for sharing. ❤
I found this mans obit online. He died in Oct. 2020. He was a Material Engineer for NASA. Huge lover of classical music. Wow!! What a music collection. His wife also worked for NASA.
This person was very cultured. Incredible!
Thanks 😊
He passed in 2020 and his daughter had his first novel published after he passed. She is an author as well. Elizabeth Lowell

Love it!❤️
Mr. Lowell was a metallurgical engineer. He earned an Apollo Achievement Award for his contributions to man's first landing on the moon. He also developed a process to increase the max temperature withstood by exterior space shuttle tiles. In short, Mr. Lowell was an out-of-this-world engineering genius!
Who is George Gershwin …. Just a guy 😂
Musician
A dead guy. He was super talented though.
Here before this blows up.

This is an amazing unit!
I just looked up C.F Lowell he did work for NASA for 31 years and was an author and a poet who passed away Oct 29th 2020.
Just WOW!!
Wow what a unit, and you make it so exciting. It would be great if you could show us the balance, from how much the unit cost and then how much you profit from this unit.
Carl Lowell was a materials engineer at N.A.S.A.s Glen Research Center for 31 years, and an author. He passed away June 8, 2020 surrounded by his family and friends.
Good unit Jeremy and George and Chritian 😊😊😊

I love your energy! You're fun to watch. Happy hunting. It must be fun to have the energy to do this interesting stuff, never knowing what you'll find.
I just love the artwork of Ansel Adams!!!
Wow what a shame that stuff was in storage. lowell was am author and had awards at NASA for his work on the space program in 1969. It's sad that his stuff was in a storage unit.
Please give us a update on this storage unit. Like to know about the books and pictures. I love old books
This storage was from a person of worth…..no junk……I pray you were wise about how you handled these wonderful memories
This a little info on the man who's books you found: About C. E. Lowell
Carl E. Lowell (1933-2020) was born during the Great Depression and raised among East Cleveland’s industrial poor. Though he dreamt of becoming a great American poet and novelist, Carl chose metallurgical engineering over English literature to secure his future. That decision led him to NASA’s Glenn Research Center where his work in materials earned him an Apollo Achievement Award for his contributions to man’s first landing on the moon, July 20, 1969. Spanning several decades, the publication of numerous scientific articles and patents underscores the breadth of his achievements, including the development of a process to increase the maximum temperature withstood by exterior space shuttle tiles.
Literature and classical music remained Carl’s lifelong passions. He completed two novels, penned dozens of poems, and amassed an impressive collection of books and recordings.
C. E. Lowell's literary works are published In Loving Memoriam by his daughter, E. L. Lowell.

Christian, listen to Finlandia! One of my favorites! It was challenging to play!
Carl died in 2020. He was an amazing scientist at NASA. He had something to do with the first moon landing! Love it! Great job
Wow, you all found some awesome old treasures. $$$$$
That was certainly an interesting storage locker.
Lots of history. Those records could be worth a lot of money to the right collector.
Was wondering if Nasa would want that last item as may have things written or drawn that should be kept secret. Maybe worth getting in touch with them just to be safe.
Take it will you to florida
From the little that we saw, it was a nerdy research into photography - camera apertures and suchlike, but still fascinating
According to his Amazon author's profile, this gentleman also earned an Apollo Achievement Award for his contributions to man’s first landing on the moon, July 20, 1969. Wow!
I've seen a lot of people look him up. What a interesting person he was. Something I found is that the was an inventor w/patents and applications for them. A lot of that had to do with his job as NASA.
WOW some beautiful pictures n music good luck 🤞🤞🤞
C. E. Lowell spent his formative years among East Cleveland’s industrious poor on Potomac Avenue. His love of classical music and literature flourished during the years he worked at a downtown Cleveland bookstore supporting himself through three semesters of English Literature at Western Reserve College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the Case Institute of Technology.
Mr. Lowell later moved to the ‘wilds of Cleveland's West Side’ for marriage, family, and an enduring career at the Glenn Research Center, a major facility of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. His research in materials is underscored by numerous publications and patents, most notably the development of a process to increase the maximum temperature withstood by exterior space shuttle tiles.
C.E. Lowell grew up very poor. Studied metallurgical engineering, went on to NASA. Invented many things, including a more heat resistant tile to withstand space flight. Was instrumental in making the 1st moon landing happen. Won many NASA awards & had many patents. He loved literature & classical 🎶 & wrote 2 books. JACKPOT Jeremy & George!
The person was very intelligent . A reader and love of classical music.
OMG, you hit the mother load! Just read about C,E, Lowell and it talked about his extensive collection of albums and books. Great score!
