Every adult involved in murdering that little boy forfeited their soul. I’m not religious, but I guarantee they at least pretended to be. I wonder what they think happens to child killers in the afterlife?

🤧how aweful. I think if that happened to me with a child of mine id want to really hurt someone. And how the hell do you electrocute a child.

What a load of bunko! I have studied different forms of execution for the better part of three decades. The electric chair is among them. That helmet looks like a mixing bowl up there. Granted, it is a movie. Realism should be shown to a degree.
Yes, by all means, remember George Stinney. It is a sad and tragic story of our national past.

I don’t understand people taking a firm position on this case. He very well could’ve done it. At this point, there’s no way to know for sure, but I would say there’s more evidence that leans that he did do it. But can we at least not pretend that just because someone got ruled of an unfair trial does not mean they did not do the crime. If anything, it just increases the chance of the possible criminal getting away with it. Because witnesses die memories fade, and so does evidence when u have a miss trial this many decades later

Kids at that time got a prison sentence, the relatives of the young man had a investigation and it proved that it was a miscarriage of justice.

What happen to the girls was unforgivable, but when investigated their was so many thing which didn't point towards it not being john spinney. He was with his brother helping the young girls pick flowers, then both moved on.He also was interrogated as un adult for 36hrs without a lawyer. This was 1940s jim crow era lynching were common place .A young black boy without any formal education what chance did he have.

he was a little boy as well, not much older and not much heavier then the two little girls. so how could he have even found the strength to kill one girl let alone two at the same time???
