Since you went through all the trouble of putting paper down on most of the floors, next time tape off the base board w blue tape, ppaper everything like you did, plastic off your windows, its questionable whether or not to mask off the kitchen cabinets or just roll around it. But you should spray your ceilings onto the wall. Then spray your trim and door paint onto the wall. Im talking about overspraying onto the walls. Then your doors will have that super smooth spray texture, and you can spray all the baseboards, door frames, etc. Then just cut with a brush for the walls (you can even spray if you're crazy and want to haul a shield around). If you're really good at cutting itll look 90% right there. Then more than likely by the time you rip all your paper up (after its dry of course) some of the base (or floor guy might be doing 1/4 rounds and you have to come back anyways) might need touched up. anyways just trying to help out. been doing it like 15 years sadly haha. you went through the trouble of papering most of the floor. just spend a little longer prepping and you unlock the ability to spray interior
I have heard it time and time again… “why not spray?” And you know what? You’re right! 😂 I will definitely try spraying next time because this house took 12 days to complete and those ceilings killed my shoulders. I have been afraid to spray and not confident but next empty house I get I will give it a shot. Thanks for offering this advice. Very good points.
@@Michaelfranzla Well either way good work man thats how you learn. You don't always have to spray inside but if you're doing the entire thing, sell them on a prime coat and spend one day on just prepping it, and you'll have a much better time. Get a mask, dont breath that shit. Good luck
Oh and stop rolling out of those paint trays. Use either a 5 gallon bucket with a metal screen hanging inside it with a 9" roller (i like 3/4 on walls) or even better is sherwin williams 14" roller. worth.
