From Gospel music, to blues, rhythm and blues, hip hop, jazz and rock and roll--- African Americans have such God-given ability and the Black Church has been the core of the overcoming story!!! ❤❤

I am SOOO glad she did not forget the basses. I am a bass and so many times in contemporary gospel the bass section is not even considered. God made us. All men are not tenors. If we are forced to be tenors, we will strain and damage our voices.
This blessed my heart so much. There are so many that can sing and don’t think they can. The bass brought tears to my eyes remembering the Bass in the choir that held their own and are now singing in the heavenly choir. Use your gifts for the Lord praising and lifting up our Lord and Savior. Use it while you can because I can’t stand because of knee and back problems but On 5th Sunday when our Women Chorus sing and Im asked to lead a song I use my voice sometimes sitting , hey guess what God enjoy our praise whether laying , standing or sitting. Let everything that have breath sing!!!!!
