Girl, same! “I make too much money to be living with credit card debt”, I relate, and we’ll do this together - just gained a new Subscriber 👏👏👏. Happy 2025🎉
Yay! The numbers are back. Looking forward to paycheck#2 to see what’s covered. I would suggest a sinking fund for household items/toiletries and another for home repairs. I know it’s a new build but you’ll be grateful you started setting money aside, even if you don’t use it. Maybe $50 each? I’m also doing a no buy January and paying off debt so you’re not alone! Happy New Year!
I implemented a strict budgeting strategy to track expenses and set clear limits, while also focusing on a smart investment approach. In just six months, my investments grew by over $70,000, boosting my savings and financial confidence. This combined strategy has set me on track to achieve my long-term financial goals, and i'm hoping to get to a three million plus this 2025, so help me God🙏
I work with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.
New subscriber here! I love your videos! I appreciate your transparency and authenticity! I have created my budget sheet on a Word document last evening. I am doing a low-buy challenge for the first 3 months to pay off my credit card. Happy New Year from Canada 🌹
New Subscriber here, I just saw your channel in my feed. I am so excited to be following your journey. I love your channel and your content. This hits home, credit cards are killing my budget. Trying to pay them off, seems something always happens and have to use them.
Welcome to the channel! It is hard to pay them off but as you’re paying them off maybe put a little money towards an emergency savings too. That way when something happens you can use the emergency savings instead of the credit card.
Hi! How much would you say that you’ve spent to decorate your house? I bought my house in Oct 2023 and held off doing any decorating to pay off my consumer & student loan debt. Now that it’s all gone, I’m hesitant to put money in the house but I think having a reasonable ballpark number to budget would help me get over that mental block.
Yay! You can join my newsletter (which is in the description box) to get more information on when it’ll happen. But we’ll actually discuss it here on UA-cam!
Loved the video! I’m also doing a low buy year (pray for me 🙏🏾) and I’m really trying to get a grip on budgeting effectively so your videos and tips are helpful. Also, what Pilates studio are you going to? $100/month for 3 classes a week is a steal. Cheapest I can find is $100/month for 4 classes
You can do it!! 💪🏼 I go to a small boutique studio. And the price would be $200 a month but I get a discount because I’m a virtual assistant for the studio!
I do most of my beauty maintenance myself except for my hair. I get it twisted every 2 months and the next time is in February. Utilities are going to be on the next paycheck!
@@lifeandnumbersI just switched to visible last week after paying off my phone. It’s working great so far and I’m happy to pay $30 a month for my phone and Apple Watch service
Utilities are on the next paycheck! Join the newsletter to get updates about the book club but there’s not an actual to join. At the end of January I’ll do a live stream where we can discuss the book.

Yes, the numbers are back! It feels like I need household items too frequently to have a sinking fund for them. But I do have a sinking/emergency fund for my house! Good luck with your no buy challenge!!

that’s incredible! What’s the secret behind this strategy? How did you manage to save up so much so quickly?

Great question! I’m actually not sure but that’ll make a great video. I’ll have to do it in the near future!
This was great thanks for sharing, hope to see a check in for 2nd paycheck
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your video. I’m curious if you’re putting away any money into savings?

New sub here! Hey girl heyyy 🙋🏽♀️
Heyyyy 👋🏼🫶🏼
Loved the video! Do you have a timeline to pay off your credit card? I’m aiming for May/June for mine
Thank you! I’m aiming for the end of 2025. Let us know when you pay off yours so we can help you celebrate! 🎊
Do you save as well?
Not currently because I’m paying off the credit card debt. But I already have a funded emergency savings account.
8:21 🎉 good job! what Pilates classes do you take?
Thank you! I do reformer and mat Pilates!
Do you ever take your bi-weekly checks (26 per year) and total those, then divide by 12 to get a monthly total instead of doing a two week budget?
Helloo...👋🏽 Who is the book by? Thank you..🫶🏽
Do you have any sinking funds? I have several: taxes, a trip, car tires, home repair, etc
I just used my sinking fund for my car insurance so I’ll have to rebuild it!
How did you find the side hustle?
It’s actually through the Pilates studio I go to! The owner was hiring so I just applied!
I'm assuming your next budget has your utilities, your beauty stuff( hair, etc).
I do most of my beauty maintenance myself except for my hair. I get it twisted every 2 months and the next time is in February. Utilities are going to be on the next paycheck!
what is your job?
I'm an UX Designer!
So your phone bill is twenty five dollars, is that your cell
Same question I had
Yep! It’s for my cell phone, I use Visible. But I’m currently testing out Mint Mobile too because it’s a tab bit cheaper.
@@lifeandnumbers Wow, that is so cheap. How much data do you get?
I pay $15 with T-Mobile prepaid
@@lifeandnumbersI just switched to visible last week after paying off my phone. It’s working great so far and I’m happy to pay $30 a month for my phone and Apple Watch service
You pay into retirement or anything??
I do! I invest in my 401K through my job. It’s taken out before I get my paycheck.
Utilities like electricity, gas, water, garbage ???
And how do you join the book club ?
