How would you set specific time signatures? For example, I can't figure out how 7/8 could be set without doubling the tempo and having 7 beats. It's not like you can set seven beats and subdivide it into eighths, because that would give 14 total beats, which is not correct.
Hey I love this app but it has never let me export my setlists, have you had this problem? I’ve asked the company o help but I haven’t found solutions yet
I'm curious about the song programming, can you make a song that switches time signatures mid song multiple times? If not I don't see how Mike Mangini could use it live with Dream Theater.
I love the app, it has been become my metronome of choice. One question, how do I set it for odd meters such as 7/8 using 2,2,3 count or 5/8 using a 2,3 count etc? Thanks for the video! Peace.
I just watched a video of you playing an override for a Gavin Harrison "study the greats" episode, and you had an ipad next to your hi-hat that showed big numbers on the screen for each beat. Was that a different app than this? I want to have a nice big visual indicator of the beats. thanks you rock!
The game changer here is that this app understands _subdivisions_ which are adjustable. What i can’t find is how to set two-bar phrases which can be played endless. Setlists can be played in auto advance, but not be programmed to play in loops (2 different bars e.g.). Any idea anyone?
Austin Burcham Thanks for answering, meanwhile i figured out how it works: pull up the setlist which contains the songs (in case like mentioned above: different bars) which you want to play looped, click on “Setlists” in the left upper corner and there you can set just whole setlists on “loop” by clicking the info-“i” of the concerning setlist. Great channel btw!
Polynome is a great metronome app as well. Does this one allow the app to silence the metronome for certain number of bars(going in & out like the video you did awhile back)?
Man, try Polynome and Time Guru. Thank me later. Polynome is crazy advanced. For instance, I could program Snarky Puppy - What About Me drum solo vamp as a melodic click track with Polynome. That helped me really work on that track. The original track is live and lots of stuff going on so it's not ideal for accurate practice. With Time Guru you can easily create bars of click and bars of rest. There's also a way to gradually increase muted clicks so you can start of playing with click but soon you have to be the click... and then you hear the click again and know if you're locked in or not. Another type of humbling metronome exercise... Seriously, give them a try!
Thanks! Would love to see a tutorial on the Setlist and Gig functions
My teacher use this amazing app and today i buy it, my life is much more easier!!!
I use this app too, love it
Can you have it play a measure and then be silent for a measure and then come back in to check your timing kind of thing?

+Justin DeCarlo Set the beat to 1 and the subdivision to 7.

Nice! I use it to!
+Erik B Larsson nice!

What app do you use to record the screen on your phone?

Thank you! Your videos look great by the way :-)

I'd also like to know what app is used for this.. just got my new iPad pro and it would be great for any 'app store' help.. newbie
@@georgemickel6608 it's called Click
The only feature that I feel is missing is having the ability to export the clicktrack you've made via mp3

Yea I don’t think it has that functionality unfortunately. Polynome is probably the better option for that kind of thing.

WHAT A GREAT VISEO
If they had an android version I'd be using this.

+tdrum21 Unfortunately no, not that I'm aware of. I wish it did.

the ghost click thing can easily be done on Metronomerous(Android though).
you can configure the number of audible as well as silent bars.
Can you make a dotted quarter note for sub division for a 6/8 measure?
Many thanks Austin! This helped me well
This is one of the best Metronome apps available. Shame it's not available for Android. Another great app is 'pro metronome'.
"Approved by Mike Mangini, must be legit" hahaha, indeed - it does look cool
Very cool.
🎉❤😊
Sets it to 140 with a sh*tload of subdivisions. LoL typical drummer
I think that the only metronome that comes close to Tempos' functionality is Metronomerous on Android. And its free
That is also my conclusion really...
