Great beginner guide. I will only stress what was mentioned earlier in the video. It is very important to pick a class you like. Regardless of the reason why you like it. It will make the game more fun. Also, there is a trial function that gives you the opportunity to try a class out.

This is the first MMO I have ever played where I stopped playing after a couple of hours and only picked it up again because I don't want to give up so soon. Every other MMO I've played has me playing until I collapse for at least the first week. Maybe I'm not used to Korean style but I did play Shaiya a lot years and years ago, so I'm not totally ignorant, and I am prepared to a certain extent to engage with weird Asian styles with an open mind, but it seems pretty clear that these kind of games are really badly designed if they can't pull you in. I'm a gamer ffs, it's not difficult to keep me interested for at least the first few hours. Something seriously wrong with the way this game is presented for a newbie. (I've also not found a vid explaining BDO where my eyes don't glaze over after a few minutes. Maybe the whole design of the game hurts my brain).

Hi, random bdo Veteran giving his opinion on this Video for new Players to judge. Overall rating id say 9.5/10 some minor stuff can be changed but its really good. I think the "it wont be op forever" can be replaced by it will be op for about 1month tops normally but yea his point stands. I would add Olvia servers dont have pvp AND cant spawn world bosses, many new players get confused by this (just random lunar halo chat knowledge). I think adding the o button to guide new players on where to go (specifically main and suggested tabs) and turning on all quests there helps a lot (did for me when i was new anyway). You can add that you can set the map to 90degree angle in errr settings general and then i believe map or sth. Great to tell people to just bank items you dont understand BIG THING TO DO (deleted map piece when i was new myself bc i didnt). Its probably a good idea to add that id check out awakening and succession in the first 3 months when you still have the new adventurer status (old moon book) because then you can swap freely. Thats it great job!
Just downloaded this game 2 days ago and have a few hours of game time. It’s very overwhelming and all I do is talk to npcs and skip dialogue and for some reason that got me to level 30. I started by using witch in the season1 thing but then I realized how boring witch is so I just created a new character with lahn just to find out I cannot use two characters in one season so I just entered new olvia with lahn. The business model is pathetic, the levels in pvp are very unbalanced. You have to grind thousands of hours, 0.0000001% to get a good item and 99.99% for the game to remove it for upgrading it. It is the game that penalizes the player the most just for improving equipment. The probability system is not real. The fanatics will always hide the continuous failures from you. It is very unfair, a lot of time and money. so a new player will recognize that he will never be at the level of other players.
Thats not true anymore. I came back 9 months ago, and I had nothing. After 9 months, 1500hours and 150 euros spend I can say this: I dont do any afk activity, I dont do any lifeskill I prefer to grind. In those 9 months I got on 293/294/377. I can now farm 95% of spots. I have full t4 pets and one t5 pet. I have fairy with cheer 5, tent, costumes etc. There are so many things u guys get free now w/o spending real money. Avg playing 3 hours/day, u get at 660 GS really fast, and at the point u can already grind 80% of content. Idk why ppl still think its the same game like it used to be 3 years ago, when u rlly had to spend a lot of money and hours in to grind, now its much more begginer friendly, many catch up mechanics.
Im level 15-30 trying out classes. One thing i havent found yet is....where can i practice skills/combos? Like a dummy, or whats best way to do this? Thanks in advance

I know there are a couple of dungeons, but I meant in the traditionally theme park sense.
@@dottzgaming also, should've maybe mentioned something about infinitely stacking trash loot on your horse
@@Dreyden12274 I have that in my "how to grind efficiently" guide :)
Literally nothing is PVP, I miss lineage 2 where you could fight anyone anywhere. Too many safe games now.
Is this a game where I can jump in, do the main quest and still enjoy it for the most part?
Yup, that’s what I’m doing. There’s a lot to learn, but so far I haven’t had any issues just playing
I literally can’t even create a class, shits broken
This game is not newbie friendly...
ye this looks kinda overwhelming :(
Is BDO good for a first MMORPG?
I mean. It is overwelming for a beginner, but there is no time limit too when you have to know everything, take your time if you do not get something in game, there are more People that had been there, asking is free. So I would say yes especially when they are giving away the game (they do sometimes place it on steam or own website for free)
What level is Magnus quest for anywhere storage? Thats one of my biggest issues. I got ALOT of items....
thanks, ben shapiro!
Uuh.....do what now??
Just watch Narcs guide this guy just plugs his other vids and doesn’t explain anything
opening line of the video watch a different video K thanks. Bye
this is a guide video to all his guides XD
Got perma banned from eso over bs that wasn't my fault so hello new world lol
Played eso since launch and recently they've been throwing out perma bans. Fun stuff
Perfectly typed. Theses players have been playing for 2-6+ years and spent money + spend a work day of 3-8 hours a day only grinding or life’s skill
I was about to buy it, thank you for this info🙏🏾
Thats not true anymore. I came back 9 months ago, and I had nothing.
After 9 months, 1500hours and 150 euros spend I can say this:
I dont do any afk activity, I dont do any lifeskill I prefer to grind.
@@sykysykyc4436 dude 9 months is a LOOOOOONG time
@@sykysykyc4436 You're acting like 9 months and 1500 isn't a lot of time grinding 💀
The only thing you need to know about this game is how to uninstall it
Why??
Im level 15-30 trying out classes. One thing i havent found yet is....where can i practice skills/combos? Like a dummy, or whats best way to do this? Thanks in advance
You can join "battle arena" if you have the new main menu you can find it in the tab called "war" or (press f7 then 2 if you are in the main menu) but if it Is not there on the top of the new main menu you can type in "battle arena" and it should find it for you. (You can practice pvp with other People or dummies/unkillable human mob)
Non consensual pvp huh? 😏
This game is god awful unless you pay for everything. Bosses are stupidly over powered, constant bugs, laggy and non existent dialogue
The fact u feel like that way probably means u lose quit often , I haven’t bought anything n been having a blast
I disagree, I’ve just started and the bosses are actually pretty easy. I haven’t had any bugs, no lag, and all the relevant characters are voiced. I think you’re just bad
That combat is eye cancer , its interesting but also too much...
The game is definitely complex. Downloaded it yesterday on xbox. Completed the first 3 quest. And I can't figure out how to open the gift boxes. Spent half an hour clicking through crap. Gonna look through ya vids and see what I'm doing wrong. I feel like an idiot😅. All I have to do is OPEN IT
If I recall you have to open the menu and go to your mailbox? I remember having a heck of a time with it and just started again on PC. Definitely a keyboard/mouse game
