Montreal police SPVM sur les lieux homme barricadé - Distinct police teams onsite for barricaded man

En cette soirée du 31 Mars 2024, les Policiers du S.I.S (Support & Interventions spécialisées) ainsi que les différents service d'urgence de la Ville de Montréal ont été appelé
à se rendre sur la rue Sainte-Catherine est dans ce qui était autrefois appelé Le Red Light district.
À cet endroit un homme a été vue lançant des roches à des passants. À l'arrivée des forces de l'ordre, l'homme s'est caché et selon toute vraisemblance refusait de se rendre.
À première vue, l'homme en question souffrait de problème mentaux et l'équipe ESUP (Équipe de soutien aux urgences psychosociales) est entré dans le portrait. Après 2 heures de négociation l'homme s'est finalement rendue.

On this evening of March 31, 2024, the S.I.S (Support & Specialized Interventions) Police officers as well as the various emergency services of the City of Montreal were called
to go to Sainte-Catherine Street is in what was formerly called The Red Light district.
At this location a man was seen throwing rocks at passers-by. When the police arrived, the man hid and in all likelihood refused to surrender.
At first glance, the man in question suffered from mental problems and the ESUP team (Psychosocial Emergency Support Team) entered the picture. After 2 hours of negotiation the man finally surrendered.
