🤣my daughter summed up! I was 6months pregnant with her when my mom suddenly died…it really felt like the warmth of the sun was “inside” me. She was already playing camelot in my womb😅 Now 10yrs later, I could not have asked for a more joyous lively presence to soothe the loss of my mom. I always say to friends, it’s like having 24hr Netflix on…hence we don’t have a tv! Thank you SO much🙏
Oh my gosh, no. 3... I'm getting a little emotional over here. I have a 12-house Leo Venus, and sometimes in therapy I talk about this feeling like I have this overflowing, passionate love that's inside me, but I'm afraid to express it for fear of it being too much for people. I didn't know what this was, but I feel like it's my repressed Leo Venus... ah, my poor little Venus. I'm having a breakthrough over here, thank you, Adam!!
Both my kids are Leo rising. They don't try to seek attention , one is quite shy even, they light up the room just by being there. I notice people are attracted to them for being who they are. For being real.
My daughter is a Leo and she has so much energy. She is my sunshine for sure. She is very timid, though, especially around other people. She's also a bit bossy. She acts like a queen. 😂 That story about Summer was adorable.
My 16 year old son is a Leo Ascendant, he was very gentle loving & shy as a young child, he has achieved more sport, music, leadership & community awards, status & national recognition in the past 4 years, his energy & drive is ferocious & anyone who is involved with these events say he is a pleasure to work with & he helps his team members with encouragement to bring out their qualities & enjoy the experience. He is always in good spirit, very kind & I feel so blessed & proud to call him my son & behind closed doors he is still that gentle loving young sweet child ❤
As a Leo moon on my midhaven, my inner child appreciated this one so much. Many things I deeply needed to hear and evident through tears that it made space to begin healing parts of me I didn’t know were wounded. ❤️✨🙏🏼
My daughter is a Leo Sun conjunct her Midheaven. When she was 6 she took dance lessons. Unfortunately, she inherited my inability to walk and chew gum, but she wanted to do the dance recital on stage at the high school. She was always a step behind the other dancers, but she never knew it. She was shining and had no sense of stage fright. The following season, she asked the dance instructor if there would be another recital and was told no. She only did those every other year. My daughter said if there was no recital, then she was done dancing. Leo's need to shine.
One of my daughters is a Leo, 2nd House She is the most generous, giving, loving, helpful and just radiant young woman. With her Cancer Moon and Asc. she shines and shares this light with compassion and loving care for everyone she meets. I'm so blessed to be her mother, she has taught me so much and I'm so proud of her and in awe of her everyday🦁🌞 My twin Grand babies are also Leos and I can already see their radiance as well. So excited to watch them continue to grow and shine brightly in this world❤ Thank you Adam 🙏💕
This was so beautiful to hear today. My oldest nephew (10 yo) is a Leo rising, and there have been times where the theatrics, the pride, the attention seeking has been something I would have a negative response to. But when I started thinking of it as an expression for a drive to be a leader, to learn how to be brave, be seen, and grow in his own authority, I shifted my own reactions. Now I support and encourage him to be proud of himself and accomplishments, and really give him his moments in the sun frequently. It’s actually made a huge difference in how much he acts out and in his mood. He is really stepping up to be a leader for his brothers and to be more confident in his undertakings. It makes me so proud. Giving people positive feedback is so healthy, and it’s a shame we can be so hesitant to do it.
I'm a Leo rising, and how I wish I had parents who knew how to encourage me like the example you gave of encouraging Summer. I'm totally stealing that for my inner self-talk, because I tend to get daunted pretty easily in new situations and when I end up being put into a leadership role when I don't want to be there.
I have watched almost every video of yours for over a year now. This is a video that gave me a goosebumps because of how accurately you described Leo. I’m a Leo rising and everything you said applies. Although I have strong Scorpio placements as well so for myself life was a melancholic theatrical drama that ends with a fallen hero lol. I have a baby now who’s also a Leo rising. As a child I was shamed and not supported as a Leo so I am determined to raise my daughter just like I needed to be raised and supported but the way you put it in words was just beautiful. Thank you Adam.
❤ I love this thank you so much I love the series! You spoke to my inner child! I am Leo sun and Venus conjunction, and I have always been told that I was too much. So there has been always an insecurity and I’m always super self-conscious of always not being too much. That is some thing that I used to deal with and those weights have been coming off of me the order that I have gotten and literally last week my boyfriend told me that he has never experienced a love in his life with such passion, and he has never experienced a warmth, so tangible the way i give it to people. After he told me that I just wanted to squeeze him because I knew that he was experiencing the Leo sun and Venus conjunction😂❤.
Thank you for this. I have 10th house Leo with my Sun + Mercury + Midheaven + North Node. I am the only Leo in my family so a lot of my Leo tendencies were shunned. I was too sensitive or too dramatic. I needed to act my age but not be so serious. My generosity, a huge one for me and it means the world for me to do it, often went unnoticed, was criticized, or the feedback was "meh." Those who did accept it often "used" me for it. Leading to a complete shut down within myself. So, yes, please please do not discourage Leo kids from being generous.
Love this. I found out later in life that I was a Leo rising and boy, did it explain a lot. Great advice! I would also say, to remember that your little Leo can get exhausted trying to hold up the world every day (which they feel they need to do) and will occasionally need to collapse and will need a lot of teat and validation (love and affection) in order to refill their tank.
I have teenage Leo twin boys (I'm a Gemini moon and their dad is a Gemini sun so it makes sense 😂). They are kind of timid and need a lot of encouragement, but when they are around their friends they are very outgoing and full of energy. They really are good hearted boys
My son is 22yrs now, he has Leo in sun rising, mercury and Mars. He has always been walking sunshine, such a radient smile and makes people feel so at ease.
Thank you Adam. I was a shy Leo kid. All the things you mentioned are right on. My shyness was encouraged by my Mom and shining my light was not, unless I was onstage. I had to learn all these things as an adult as I stepped out into my own light and creativity I wrestled with my ego. Now I have my own platform and I support my friends as they build their platforms.
I am a Leo AC too, and I can say from experience that if a Leo’s courage and bright light aren’t adequately acknowledged, the leonine kid is trained to believe they must perform for love. I was abandoned by a Leo father (who was a radio personality, go figure), and in retrospect, I can see that all my achievements were either attempts to attract him or make up for his absence with accolades (from winning spelling bees to a PhD). On the other hand, my friends appreciate that I am their hype man and biggest fan. My Leo Venus and Mercury (in the 7th) kid is a natural performer who is often imagining their adoring audience 😂. At not-quite 7, they’re a competitive gymnast and artist, but as an Aqua AC and moon, they are anxious about directly occupying the spotlight (“I’m scared of singing in front of other people, but I REALLY WANT TO.”)
I love Leos which runs in my family (Dad: Sun; granddaughter: Sun; me: rising). I can't count the number of times I've been called "dramatic." Best to shine on!
Wow, each of these 5 hits home. As a Leo Moon in the 2nd house, this was me as a kid. I wish my parents and caregivers had these insights. It never was ego, it’s always generosity.
Leo north node here. I really vibed with this episode. I was a super dramatic hammy little kid, until it was systematically pushed down in me until I was a shell of myself. my life has been, in part, about healing that and finding my vibrancy again. 42 and I'm almost there. I have a closet full of black clothing on one side, and brightly colored dresses and dress up stuff on the other side, that nobody knows I have. I know I'm going to be the most vibrant weirdo when I move all the way back into my skin.
Thank you so, SO much for this. YES to all of this. Leo rising, constantly told by my Virgo sisters to "tone it down," in every way you can think of. Laughed at (not in a good way), etc. Only my father, Aries Sun, 12th/1st house stellium in Leo, understood that I put my whole heart into something and treated my heart gently. I feel like every parent of a Leo should be made to listen to this! Train your little Leos to deeply cultivate their Taurus self-worth, and to refer back to, "pearls before swine," when necessary. I cried, and cried, and cried listening to this. 🌻 Leos are so sensitive but they will grow into their strength and nobility if they follow their hearts.
Love, Love, Love this! I have had a part in helping to raise a Leo kid and find these tips to be so helpful and accurate. His bright smile, sensitivity, performative generosity and big heart are definitely apparent as well as his need/desire to find courage ❤️😊
As a Leo full moon, growing up with a narcissistic parent who was always telling me I’m over-sensitive and shaming my “theatrical” side, I’ve been embarrassed about my Leo tendencies for so long. This was such a touching message and an interesting perspective. I also loved your stories about camp and your daughter 🌞
I'm a Leo rising with an Aquarian Sun and Pisces Moon - the Graal quest has been the greatest spiritial guidebook I could ever ask for. For me, no doubt do to my Aquarian Sun, the tension between the light fading and its fated return has shown deep undertones with a desire for renewal or rebirth. Where my Leo pride has wounded me like the Wounded King, I've had to find the blessed Fool who sets out to heal the King and Wasteland - when I apply this to helping others, and allowing my inclination to give to find a worthy outlet, it's been incredible to feel my own Sunlight bless my internal landscape. A bit like young Simba realizing he needs to return to the Pride to ensure its prosperity - the mantra I've found most helpful is "The King and the Land are One"
My shy 11 yo Leo daughter is finding her courage these days! These were all so spot on! When you mentioned pouring her sunshine out in the form of performance, that was definitely my girl! She puts on shows for those she loves. And now I will always see it as her cup overflowing. Thank you Adam 🥰☀️
That was very healing to hear as a cowardly Leo rising, I kind of feel wrong to not be full of sunshine and courage like other Leos, and I very rarely see the notion that not all Leos are born like that, or that sometimes the chart indicates not what you are but who you are to become, so I very much appreciate your reminder of that truth!
as a leo asc and as a kid and an adult, i'm just very animated, full of energy and expressive. you can look at my face and know what i'm thinking and i forget my filter sometimes. lol people often take it as me "acting" some kind of way, when really, i'm just "wide eyed and hopefully wild". it's not my intent to draw attention.
Eeeeep, oh my heart. What a doll. I find Leo almost as stigmatized as Scorpio and I was happy to hear you break apart the center stage or die stigma. Some are definitely a little more regale and dignified.
My hubby is a Leo sun and Leo moon and Capricorn rising. I’d never heard anything about Leo characteristics and archetypes before. I definitely see some of these aspects in my spouse so I appreciate this helpful info. Your daughter sounds so much like my hubby when he was little. As a Capricorn sun, I definitely enjoy the light the sunny Leos bring into our lives. It lightens things up for me, for sure.
Aww, what a cute little story about your Summer. ❤ I think Leo's were born to shine and share light & love to others. Unfortunately, some of us were stifled as perhaps it appeared as if we were misbehaving or acting out, but I remember just wanting to make & see people happy & smiling.
Thanks for this. My son is a Leo Sun and Moon in the 11th -with mercury retrograde in 12th (learning "differences", slow reader and struggles with verbal communication). I wish I had had this advice when he was a little kid! He was a "wild hare" and could not focus/hear me when I spoke to him. He is 18 now and is the most sensitive person but very introverted and quiet. Almost the opposite of himself as a child. Although he was never very talkative he was more focused on social activities then. He is in fact very generous too and I can tell that he very much thrives when recognized for his accomplishments. When I really "see" him so to speak. In a lot of ways he is an enigma to me. 😆
Thank you, this was fun to listen to and very true. So, I am leo rising and as long as I can remember I adored stage. There is one funny story I remember. I was dancing in a kid's dance studio, we were five and were performing Lambada before large audience. I was short, skinny and tiny and my dancing partner was... let's say three times wider than me... My mum said that I didn't mind being all over the place while my partner was barely waddling. She said that everybody in the audience was laughing at the contrast and that it was quite funny. That's my first "I want to be in the spotlight" story.
Thank you for this!!!! My son, although almost 20 now, has his Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Venus in Leo 9th house. He is a Sagittarius rising. I am thankful his Mercury is in Virgo lol 😂 It has helped ground him a little bit.
I also have Sagittarius and Leo kids! (Both boys however) My Leo son is a Virgo moon Scorpio rising so he is definitely on the shyer side but I feel the radiant energy he exudes ☀️ Both fire signs are very active but they shine their light in very different ways. I love seeing how children just naturally display the archetypal characteristics of the signs❤
This was so affirming for me. Thank you . I’ve got Leo Sun, Moon, Mercury and Uranus in the 3rd House. After being shamed and misunderstood for many of my qualities as a child, I think I’m resembling the Lion in the Wizard of Oz, still finding the courage to shine, even in my 60’s. It’s much better that all the Little Leos out there get celebrated for who they are!
Stellium in Leo including sun, moon and Venus, with Virgo rising, and Mercury precisely cjct to Asc...I heard your words go directly to my heart of old Leo child. Thanks Adam, feels good to be understood. Never too late😊
I have Leo TWINS they are extremely affectionate and clingy. I'm a Sagittarius. Their temper can sometimes be beyond my own, I'm learning to use my words.
I agree that its great to embrace whatever emotion or archtype the kid wants to be bc suppression will make it worse. Leos have a lot of success and beauty to offer. But how do we teach Leos not to harm others in their pursuit to be on top? I encountered a lot of Leo energy believing in the end justifies the means in the pursuit of themselves.
This was good timing since I’m wanting to look more closely at Leo. Virgo ascendant, but both mercury and sun are in Leo in the 12th which is a bit weird. I like that you said “outcome” because I’m terrible at remembering (sometimes) that placements signify that. sometimes I don’t relate to something or it’s different, outcomes. I have a lot of natal placements in Leo, virgo, and libra at a weird angle so.. other people tend to not notice the Leo (other than isolated mercury) and can be baffled by the sign/house relationship expression. Astrologers like stories, but I’ve already mentioned stories in comments and some is a buzz kill. Yet, if I went into detail, some things that can be viewed as negative are sort of actually compliments. Even with my deep dive into Hellenistic astrology, there should be noticeable Leo traits where I’m going a specific way to find a specific “unique” approach even if it’s not that far off or even different than what’s there. Right now I’m applying a “Tibetan wheel of life” approach that sounds more interesting than it is, it’s still used modern in a different way where a topic can be assigned to a house and then turned to derive more specific significations. I don’t care for drama, but that’s probably more the nature of a fixed sign where I like daily stability (I may get dramatic about drama being around). However, when cracking a block I had with pinpointing the 12th house, I did find that I do gravitate towards dramatic 12th house topics in social news. If I keep going with astrology, deep diving into what the 12th means could possibly be so 😳 that it could pull drama into my life. AND, ascendant ruled by a Leo mercury, I WILL sometimes put something in a way that’s dramatic where it can spark drama. Luckily, libra placements can ease that by either toning it down or just saying one thing while also saying a contrary. This segment did help pinpoint that I do tend to gravitate towards analyzing Leo topics that are about Leo things (self image, self esteem, leadership, etc.) that have 12th house tones that are toxic and have a tendency to be more self damaging and ALSO instances of “the means by the wrong hands”. Aka, ideas with good intentions that have opposite results. I’m natal sun opposite Aquarius moon, that was interesting to hear what was said about that sign opposition. Side note: I did listen to the May forecast and I could say something related to the virgo part with the 3rd house; I ran into the 3rd house “…wha…?” heading into May where I’m deep diving into the 3rd later today. It actually relates to the topic of the Garden of Eden myth, especially the early one in the Nag Hammadi (I actually really like that myth) and its links to astrology. The 3rd house is one that caught my attention, it’s easy to pass it off as a boring house but that made it interesting. I may say something about that in a comment for that forecast. Natal uranus in scorpio (my fixed axis points are kinda gnarly) so there’s a lot going along with the uranus opposition transit, it seems. I wish I had some good “parenting” info for a Leo, but I’m just a little goofy. What I reflect on as positive is having people later on who were supportive of the really bizarre topics I’d get into, but I didn’t like attention and still don’t. I liked being left to my own devices. One thing mentioned in this episode came up that I caught myself doing which I’ll repeat in a non dramatic way… with Egypt in the news, I caught myself indirectly paraphrasing a 6th grade social studies teacher who explained to us kids that social studies (this was when we studied Egyptian history and culture) that egypt was such a focus due to its multicultural diversity. As United States citizens, it’s important to be accepting and even integrate these into culture. I’ll spare the dramatic Leo part, it’s a good example of Leo drama since it’s saying the same thing backwards in a 12th way that’s so 😳 it’s inappropriate to the context of the video. It’s a doozy though. 😆
I've got 12th house Leo Sun and Mercury under the beams of the sun opposing my Saturn in 6th. All my life I've been gaslit, told that I'm overly dramatic, theatrical, by emotionally immature parents. I'm still struggling to embrace and validate my emotional reality. Luckily I've got Leo rising kids to learn the lesson from both ends. 🙏🏼
Hard not to cry through this one...grandpa was leo. Quiet as can be and the definitive gentleman. Generous and popular in his circles. I had a horrid nightmare of him the other night ...he shot me! FF: a close friend of an aquaintance playing an odd roll in my personal id transformation: turns out shes leo...the quiet kind, but desirous of stage light. Then here you do the leo talk. I am Mars in leo...it shows: burlesque dancer. Sorting...hhmmm
❤ you and my dad have the same birthday he's been gone for going in 4 years in Aug thanks for being a great teacher I appreciate you 🙂and what knowledge you share
I have a Leo daughter who enjoyed humiliating me in front of her friends. When my husband died, her father, she joined with my 6 step-children, over the will. She is 33. We have not spoken since March 3, 2016. She hid behind the courtroom walls and sent her Barrister into the court room, to deliver her remarks. There is a part to Leo that is radiant and full of sunshine likewise, they are like a lion king, very capable of thrusting the sword for a clean kill. Many thanks, Adam

as a leo asc and as a kid and an adult, i'm just very animated, full of energy and expressive. you can look at my face and know what i'm thinking and i forget my filter sometimes. lol people often take it as me "acting" some kind of way, when really, i'm just "wide eyed and hopefully wild". it's not my intent to draw attention.
Haha yes! I’m a Leo rising as well and I’ve always had to explain to people that I’m not acting I’m just expressive 😂😅
@@realnush they jelly haha 🦁🧡
My little Leo 🌙 heart really felt this ❤. I also have north node and Mars in Leo in the 2nd. Finding that footing big time right now.
I have Leo rising and my son has a Leo sun. This hit home, especially when I think back to my childhood.
Thank you for this!!!! My son, although almost 20 now, has his Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Venus in Leo 9th house. He is a Sagittarius rising. I am thankful his Mercury is in Virgo lol 😂 It has helped ground him a little bit.
This was so beautiful. As a Leo rising with two kids who have some prominent Leo placements, I appreciate this so much, thank you :-)
I also have Sagittarius and Leo kids! (Both boys however)
My Leo son is a Virgo moon Scorpio rising so he is definitely on the shyer side but I feel the radiant energy he exudes ☀️
Both fire signs are very active but they shine their light in very different ways.
Truly insightful, beautiful, and true.
Thanks for the remembrance, Adam
From a Leo rising, this was great 🌞 thank you!
Hey, my son has a Leo ASC, thanks for this 😎 🌟 🙏
Leo Sun in the 3rd opposed by Saturn and a Cap Moon. I'm a wallflower.
Awww the potty training story really got me smiling ❤️🦁
❤ you and my dad have the same birthday he's been gone for going in 4 years in Aug thanks for being a great teacher I appreciate you 🙂and what knowledge you share
and my almost 4 year old daughter is Aug 2 so little Leo here ❤ my north nide is also in leo❤
Very hard, so sorry you had to go through this. Every sign has it’s negative side and Ive also seen the stubborn & destructive side of Leo😢
Helpful!! 🧡 Thx!!
Thank you
Thanks!
I love this series. I have my Leo moon in 4th house making an exact square to my Pluto in Scorpio 7th house. Kind of a hard aspect for me ❤
I just had my first baby . A boy August 3rd 2023
I have a leo rising sol in gemini toddler who likes to smile, dance and bite people, so odd.
Very sweet!
❤❤❤❤
